The unplugged cabins are perfect for a short retreat to relax and reconnect with yourself. I stayed there with my partner and we had a great time. It's so nice to get your mind off things completely for a few days. The cabins are designed and furnished with a lot of attention to detail. Super comfy beds and blankets, plenty of storage areas cleverly integrated into the cabin. The shower is very good and there is shower gel and and shampoo available (which smells really nice) :-)
I was also positively surprised by the no-flush toilet (I'd never used one before). It's a very clever design and doesn't smell bad at all (just make sure to leave the lid closed - if left open there can be a faint smell) in case that's a worry for someone.
The solar power works great and we never had the problem of running out. Especially the lantern lasts very long even with very little charge.
There is also a little radio and cassettes (the selection of music is of course a matter of taste, so if you want something specific maybe bring your own cassette - personally I was maybe missing some classical/relaxing music). It's also possible to listen to the radio, however the connection inside can be quite location dependent - so you need to find a good spot for the radio.
The cabin is well insulated and the indoor fireplace heats it up really well. Even after burning just 1-2 logs it will get very warm inside (if it's too hot you can of course just open the door for a bit).
The kitchen is also well equipped, we were easily able to cook some nice meals. The only slightly annoying thing was the coffee grinder - if the (pretty hidden) setting for the grain size is set too small no coffee will come out at all - but once we figured it out it worked well.
There are also lots of little info signs and a detailed cabin manual so you'll be well informed about everything (apart from the coffee grinder :-P).
Also in case you have any issues you can contact the cabin support with the Nokia phone and they are super responsive and very helpful.
When organising the taxi we had some trouble to get the taxi company to understand the exact location (despite sending coordinates & what3words location) - but that's not unplugged's fault. Just make sure to be extra careful when talking with the taxi company :-)
Overall I think the cabins are excellent! :-) would recommend.
We stayed at Pablo, and really loved our time here. That picture window is something else. You never get tired of sitting in bed, watching nature roll by from it!
Fitchingfield was really close by for a nice spot of lunch and we walked the estate on our way back to the cabin. Lucky enough to see deer and hares up close running about.
We unplugged and really enjoyed recuperating as well as spending time together. Lovely concept of a digital detox and we definitely were relaxed after our stay.
So peaceful able to switch off with nature with some lovely luxuries in the cabin to make it feel welcoming. Will definitely do again.
Beautiful location and the cabin we staying in was lovely! We stayed at the olive cabin in September and it was perfect. I would recommend this to pretty much anyone but especially those sitting at a screen for a big bunch of their day like us. Forces you to slow down and breathe and clock out for a bit. Everything you could need was in the cabin but pretty basic and not too many distractions which is the whole point. Will be sure to return again!!
I can’t fault my experience with Unplugged at all.
I booked Heidi for a birthday getaway with my boyfriend who absolutely loves camping. As we sat around the fire pit, he said this was reminiscent of his childhood and was over the moon with this surprise. It was so nice to spend quality time together, the conversation cards forcing us to open up about things we normally wouldn’t think to talk about, without distraction.
Every item in the cabin was well thought out, and we especially loved the Polaroid camera! All in all, this was a wholesome few days spent surrounded by nature, and I actually found myself dreading getting my phone back.
I’d definitely return (and would even feel safe enough to return by myself for a writing weekend).
I needed some time alone to detach from everything and anyone.. and this was the perfect little escape.
The cabins are more catered for at least 2 persons and I would highly suggest to go with someone and not alone as it does get pretty lonely especially if you're not used to being alone for a couple of days.
I did find it very helpful though and really enjoyed the Cabin and its resources, its small but has all the needs you will require.. its very comfortable!
Loved just being out there surrounded by nature.
The team is very responsive and helpful and really tries hard to get you all set up and ready, not to mention the guide provided when booking is very helpful!
Highly recommend this, even if just doing it once to for the experience!
We had a lovely experience!!!! Our cabin was well-equipped, and we enjoyed unplugging and making the most of exploring the area; reading; and relaxing. Thank you! :)
So overall our experience of the actual cabin and the trip itself was pretty good, apart from the sheep that sadly died next to our cabin and decided to cause a fly swarm and stench, we did inform the team, they apologised and passed it on but nothing got done, luckily this was near the end of our stay.
What was more disappointing was upon arrival to the allocated parking spot, the track was surrounded with very sharp brambles and thorny bushes with very sharp thorns, my poor brand new Tesla that had recently been ceramic coated, suffered scratches both upon entry and exit, I have pictures of these that I sent to the team.
In short they didn’t accept liability, or put their hands up and say yes sorry we should have maintained the safety to and from the allocated area in a more
Professional and Caring manner.
I now need to pay a local detailing company to attempt to machine polish these scratches out, some look quite deep, it was totally unavoidable.
They should have been trimmed right back.
Good luck if you have an even bigger vehicle such as a Range Rover or anything, you can kiss your paintwork goodbye.
Yes - I understand it’s a forest and it’s a rural area etc etc…. But that doesn’t mean the safety and maintenance should be left to a point where it damages property. Period. No excuses here.
We were thinking of returning at another time and recommending to our work colleagues / family, we have a sizeable network, sadly we won’t be recommending to anyone anymore.

I stayed in Loki Hampshire the cows and sheep were lovely and it was quiet and lovely in that respect however lots of things need improving
..there were hundreds of flies everywhere outside, everywhere was covered in big black flies i assume due to cows
..you couldnt keep the door open as the flies and insects came in and you couldnt get them out, in the morning even with door closed there were loads of dead flies everywhere
..there were no instructions on how to use or clean compost toilet
..there were no steps to the really high bed just a stool very dangerous and if drunk could easily fall out of bed which is very high
..there was no torch left
..only one of the cassette tape worked
..i got bitten to death there and im still being bitten at home as i took a blanket with me so can only assume ive picked up dog fleas from the cabin
..the cabin was so hot the window and blind was too hot to touch in morning, no ventalation apart from one window you couldnt leave open as not safe to leave open all night
..no washing up bowl
..it also looks nothing like the photos as totally overgrown now
..no water bucket outside to put out firepit
..all the cups were stained inside from tea and coffee
..no instructions on smoke alarm which went off every time you cooked and wouldnt stop even with door open
..under the bed was full of storage stuff which i didnt like

When things go wrong, as they do, it's often a spiral downhill. We booked Monty for 3 nights during the hottest few days so far. We were excited by the break, but when we arrived the fridge seemed, well, rather warm! Unplugged's cabin support were fantastic. They pulled out every stop, organised a bike courier with supplies, and made sure our few days, if not smooth were happily memorable. We couldn't recommend the break more.

The best treat I could've asked for.
I had no expectations as I'd never been camping, but the entire experience from booking, receiving frequent emails to ensure I was prepared, the onboarding Notion template outlining every single thing needed was incredible.
The actual stay was more than I'd ever imagine a 3 day detox in the country side could be.
From the small box left to lock my phone to the actual cabin... everything was curated to perfection.
At one point I was sat for an hour just admiring how carefully crafted the entire experience was. The materials and the quality of the cabin were just top notch.
The cabin had everything I could've needed to enjoy my stay all I needed was to bring marshmallows and food.
I'm a workaholic, and also a social media addict, but I didn't struggle one bit to be away from my phone.
Was a needed break from the city and online noise.
1000/10

We had the best time at Woody for my partner's birthday! Our pup came along for the trip and had the best time. We didn't want to return to normal life afterwards.
I also just want to point out how attentive and ON IT their customer service is. We had a small hiccup at the start of our trip where the goodies weren't left for our pup - we flagged it before switching off and the team were incredibly helpful, acknowledging that we'd not want to get into a continuous conversation when we were meant to be off-grid.
When we switched our phones back on, a refund had already been issued without even asking for one and the follow-up from the team was really great.
Customer Experience is very important to me. It's my job. These guys have nailed it - would highly recommend their cabins if you want to escape from reality for a few days. Total heaven.
Thank you!

Me and my partner just got back from a 3 night stay in Woody for our anniversary and it was the best experience! The cabins themselves have everything you need, and it was the perfect way to spend quality time together and put our phones to the side. We texted the team on a couple of occasions to ask for assistance and got a very quick response. We can’t wait to book our next visit and hopefully see more locations from Unplugged!

Just back from a stay in Olive. Beautiful, well-equipped cabin in a stunning location. Everything was perfect, lovely cosy wood burner, comfy beds and all we needed for a proper recharge away from it all.
We'll definitely be booking again!

I was apprehensive as I’m not good at relaxing or with nature but have to say our stay at Basil was lovely. The location, the maps of walking routes and fresh air really helped us to relax into the experience. My partner and I both felt rested and agreed we should try to get off the grid more often.
Amazing location and cabin, everything has truly been thought out so you have everything you need while you’re there! Would recommend this to anyone wanting a break from city life!
I just came back from staying at Koya - feel very relaxed and rejuvenated! Beautifully done high-spec cabin with very cosy log burner and some stunning views. Everything made very easy (booking, finding the place, operating everything) so that there's no stress associated with de-stressing! Highly recommend:)
The best way to rest, relax and go offline. We are members with Unplugged and have stayed three times already with two more stays booked for this year.
The cabins are clean, beautiful and so well equipped with high quality kitchenware, books, towels and the beds are to die for.
The team are incredible. The best customer support we’ve found anywhere.
We cannot recommend Unplugged highly enough for anyone looking to escape somewhere beautiful and restorative and spend time in nature. Love them so much!
What a great experience. The cabins are just what you need - well stocked, clean, cosy and in beautiful locations.
The set-up, organisation and Unplugged customer service are also perfect.
Hugely recommended, and I will be back again soon!
My time at Koya couldn't have come at a perfect time in my life and the cabin was even better than what I expected! Such a beautiful space and the staff were on hand via text if there were any problems (there were none during my stay!) Would 1000% recommend to just escape and relax, already planning my next trip and making it a yearly thing! Thank you Unplugged team for everything x
