My most recent experience of this fair…

My most recent experience of this fair was great last weekend. Apparently it’s been running for 18 years. The atmosphere was exciting at the Private View, which was extremely busy. The artists I spoke to were very happy with overall sales, commissions and the amount of positive feedback they were receiving. Staff were always on hand, helpful, warm and professional. This is a must see event!

I also had a scroll before posting and it looks like most of the negative reviews are not for this specific event or even from people who exhibited, but a completely separate fair at the same venue which is a shame as it’s brought the average down considerably. Hopefully more will post about their genuine experience as I couldn’t have enjoyed it more.

This event was very well organised with a wide variety of art to suit all tastes and budgets. Organisers and artists alike, were all very approachable and friendly. I’ve visited on multiple occasions and have to say it was the busiest I’ve seen it to date. The packing staff appeared to be taking sales non-stop. Whilst chatting to security I was informed that they had received 5,000 guests over the weekend. Impressive! I’ll definitely be back again next year.

Amazing Untitled Art Fair was a…

Exhibiting at the Untitled Art Fair was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The organisation of the event was smooth and professional, with everything running seamlessly across the weekend. The staff were incredibly friendly, approachable, and always on hand to help with any questions or needs — their support made a real difference and created a welcoming atmosphere for both artists and visitors.

During the fair, I had the chance to connect with galleries and collectors, and I’m pleased to share that it even led to a contract deal for future art sales — a very promising outcome. It was clear that the fair provides not only exposure but also genuine opportunities for artists to move their careers forward.

A special mention to Robert for his support, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in making the fair such a success. I left feeling encouraged, inspired, and excited about what’s to come.

No real art buying audience and many low quality artists.

We took part in the 'Untitled Art Fair' or is it 'Untitled Artists' Fair' - it has two names, in September 2025. It was very well organised, lovely staff on hand, and everything worked like clock work.

However we only sold to our existing clients online, as there didn't appear to be an art buying audience that the art fair had managed to generate through successful marketing.

The fair's branding could be better, and not a single social media post was posted during the event as far as we can tell.

The lovey staff tried their best to pull people in off the street, but this isn't a 'warm' audience ready to buy art. So unless you have a warm list of London clients, who really need to see your work in person in Chelsea before buying, have a really hard think as we were lucky to breakeven, and even though it was well run it failed to deliver an audience.

The other major issue was the quality of the art on display - it ranged from displays like ours of very well established artists (very few stands like this) to mainly hobby side-hustle artists having a go - this made the quality really variable and we regretted being there as the art around us was so poor. There was a four year old making and selling art - dinosaur lamps, quilted coats and art that looked like a lazy 5th grader had been forced to try and finish a canvas. One artist was even taking our leaflets featuring our paintings to cut up and create new mosaic art on the fly for her stand!!

With a few tweaks by the organisers this could be an amazing art fair, but when we exhibited there were a few key ingredients missing. Hopefully these will be put right for next time.

It ideally needs:

• Stronger Branding
• Advertising to build an audience
• Artist quality control
• Active social media

Good luck if you give this one a try - we won't be back as it didn't work for us, but as we said it was well organised physically.

Just to be clear - the fair is well run, the venue is great, but an art buying audience was lacking for us, it may have been a misfit for our work, and if you do do the fair we suggest also showing art high-quality prints. We only took originals as we hadn't really understood the low level and how early in their careers many of the artists would be.

We may have done better if we had had a mix of price points by including art prints, that was our mistake not the art fairs.

Untitled artist fair visit

Visited this weekend after spotting banner. No name but asked artist who told me it was the Untitled Artist Fair. Not many visitors there. Some artists looked upset. One told me they had paid nearly £2000 for small wall! Didn't see many staff about. Art was okay. Venue is beautiful. *Update 09/09/2025 - I decided to update my review with the name of the fair and change it to 1 star because the owners tried get my review removed saying it was meant for another business.

This user was recently flagged and forced to make edits as they contravened Trustpilot terms. No small spaces were sold for £2,000. The art fair plan can be viewed online to confirm this misinformation. Whilst the visitor may have been told this, it remains untrue.

I exhibited at the Untitled Art fair…

I exhibited at the Untitled Art fair in Summer 2024. "Untitled" is a vanity exhibition, like vanity publishing - you pay to show. The organisers make their money renting you a space. I did it on the understanding and belief that some marketing would be done to get art buyers through the door - this was not the case. It was a waste of time and considerable effort. Zero marketing, zero profile and nobody driving people into the space. I found this to be disorganised and pointless. It’s a great shame as this was a good location, but if nobody knows about it, they won’t come. Save your money.

DO NOT EXHIBIT WITH THIS ORGAINZATION -

DO NOT EXHIBIT WITH THIS ORGAINZATION -
MY work was STOLEN from their exhibition and all I got was "I am very sorry for you mate" - Not even refunding for the fair fees. (artwork listed at 1000£) - Their contract exempt them from anything related to your work.
Ultimately, Shoddy organization, shoddy venue, shoddy display. AVOID

Glad I never signed with him

Glad I never signed with him, I thought it was a scam and his new idea of selling online seems really shoddy, looks like a very poor copy of redbubble but you have to pay him, I would give this bloke a wide birth.

Untitled Artist Fair abysmal

Avoid at all costs! This was a most dismal and dispiriting event. The majority of my fellow artists I spoke to were very unhappy about the art fair and very angry about the lack of proper preparation and promotion of this event. Many are talking of making claims against the owner/organiser (I have been asked to remove his name. Initials RJ). One case against him is being heard on 28th October 2022. Despite promising that there would be gallerists, agents, and professionals attending the fair, despite claims of amazing sales and crowds of buyers, this Art Fair was virtually empty much of the time. I have photographs of empty galleries and aisles.
On arrival, there was no offer of help. A few young people employed to be there did what they could but it was difficult to get any assistance. Fortunately I had brought a friend with me who helped me clean the stall and set up my work. The organiser (RJ) did not appear on the scene until the Private View that evening. My only interchange with him was to ask for a chair to sit on. He later claimed he told me my prices were too high and that was why I did not sell - this is blatantly untrue! I had no such conversation with him and actually my prices were lower than many others.
The organiser chose not to advertise properly with hanging banners and boards directing viewers in to the gallery. He was directly challenged on this by one of the contributors. There was no floor map to guide visitors to stalls they were looking for. The COVID protection was non-existent - there were no masks being offered and no-one asking people to wear them.
There were few sales, and those were mostly to friends of the artists. And any attempt to question the organiser about any of this led to evasiveness, rudeness, and a complete lack of action. He refused to meet with us and sent his very pleasant staff to try and quell the mounting anger.
Leading up to the event he became very unpleasant to deal with. Even though the event was cancelled twice due to Lockdown during Covid, he refused to give exhibitors their money back. No refund under any conditions! I even consulted a lawyer but eventually it was not worth the effort.
We all paid a lot of money for what turned out to be shoddy stalls, paint on the floor, demands for extra money for additional lighting, and a complete lack of concern for the difficulties of his exhibitors.
A complete waste of money. Do not be tempted by his initial hard sell. Just read the restrictive contract you are obliged to sign to realise he will not be amenable or reasonable at any point.
Artists, save your hard-earned money and exhibit elsewhere.
