Very disappointed with UPS service. My package was marked as delivered, but I never received it.

For an established company awful service!
There little communication from the business to say the package was to be delivered. I did receive an email stating the package was delivered and signed for by me at 10:04, I checked outside my house at 10:06.
I was home at the time of delivery with my family and no package was delivered. I have a door camera and no package delivery was on the camera. The address EIR code was provided.
The online system states I signed for the package, no I did not.
I called UPS straight away, they said they could not talk to the driver even though the driver only dropped it off 30 mins ago. I have a case number but no follow-up from UPS.
AWFUL service, cant believe they are still in business.

Horrid. Got no email or text update about my package and after waiting forever for my package, I finally checked tracking only to see that I had import fees due that I was not made aware of.it also said there was multiple failed deliveries, which is untrue.it now says it will be returned to sender, which is ridiculous.. Mind you, this is after they lost my last package, and the retailer had to send a new one!

We were expecting a delivery before Christmas on a parcel from Belgium. Ups said they tried to deliver to our house twice but no sign of our parcel. On their app today it said awaiting new delivery date. This afternoon a neighbour down the road from me called to my house and said she got a parcel left outside her house on 31/12/25 today at 13.24 pm. Ups delivered to the wrong house after putting their own printed form, on top of the hand written address, with the incorrect street name. The handwritten address was correct. Their printed one was not. They shortened the address and put in the correct house number but the wrong street altogether. 100 metres from our house. Obviously they called to the wrong house twice before finally leaving it outside the wrong address on their third visit. What makes it worse is the fact that they had the correct Eircode on the package but failed to spot their mistake.I do have sympathy for their delivery driver as he/she would be very busy prior to Christmas. Thankfully an honest neighbour sorted out their mistake. I have given them a 1 star vote on trustpilot as it is the lowest vote I can give. Latest update from Ups. They have posted a photo on their app to prove they delivered the package today. The only problem is that the photo displayed is NOT a photo of our house.

Delayed my order from an ‘incomplete address’. Even tho its completely right. then I was told my order would be here in the next 24 hrs over the phone which was 2 days before christmas. (never happened) my order was just kept in the warehouse for days and then out of nowhere decided to send it back to the sender for no absolute reason my order was supposed to arrive on the 19th never came

An update to the saga. I called again yesterday. The short story is that my outgoing package is still sitting here on Christmas morning instead of at it's destination, or at least traveling towards it.
After spending another 20 minutes trying to get to talk to a human, I got through to their call centre in India or wherever it is that UPS can find their cheap workers to support their deliveries on the ground in Ireland.
After telling me that drivers would not be collecting packages that day due to Christmas, the person very helpfully suggested that I bring it to a drop-off location. I was fully aware that I can bring it to a drop off location. In fact, when I purchased the shipping, I went to the bother of accepting their offer to PAY EXTRA for them to pick it up instead. There was no offer of a refund for the collection fee. I would have brought it to the collection point at the start if the pick-up had not been offered as being available. I was a little surprised that the Customer Service never though to helpfully suggest that I could just drive to the destination with the parcel to deliver it personally myself..........
So what are some of the major issues here? The first is that they offer you a service they don't have capacity to fulfill. In my case, this means that a parcel - that I could and would have posted with a reliable service instead - has not been posted because UPS lied in telling me that my parcel would be picked up on Monday, then lied and told me that it would be picked up on Tuesday.
Secondly, if the driver just decides he can't be bothered to pick up your parcel, he will mark it as some kind of "attempted collection". And as far as UPS are concerned, unless you put in additional effort to chase them up, that is the end of the matter and they have your money anyway. A reasonable assumption would be that if the driver doesn't pick your package up that it is put on the list for collection the next day. But not for UPS. You have to call them the next day to reschedule. And if the same thing happens the next day, you have to call back the following day etc.
Thirdly, too many lies. The latest one being that someone would call me yesterday. Nobody called.
No doubt some "rep" will copy and paste their boilerplate guff of "Please email X with case number 123456" in response to this comment. I mean, you have a customer service helpline. Isn't that simply an admission that your customer service system is not fit for purpose? The whole experience - from the circular automated system you get when calling - to the delays and false promises, appears to be based on the strategy that UPS have your money and that if they pay some poor person in India a Euro an hour to waste enough of your time and delay you, that you'll eventually forget about the money you paid to them

Paid for priority delivery, received a confirmation on the 19th to say it would be delivered on the 20th. No delivery! I contacted costumer service on tbe 21st, they informed me the driver was too busy to deliver all parcels that day. I offered to go to the depot to pick up which was declined. As of now December24th, despite speaking to customer support everyday I have nor received my parcel. I will never order anything online again if UPS are their partners.

Paid €20 extra for express shipping which was advertised as being delivered in 1-2 days, firstly they gave me an estimated delivery of the 29th of December which was not what i paid for and then when it arrived in Ireland yesterday, they just didn’t bother to send it out today, it was scanned at 10pm yesterday and no other update since, paid extra for nothing, also it was scanned twice, surely it can just be sent out, they advertised a promise i paid for that they cant keep.

I have had one of the worst delivery experiences I’ve ever encountered with UPS.
My package was shipped to Dublin from France, and for over 11 days it was marked as “out for delivery” every single day, only for the status to later change to “security access needed.” This is completely false. There is no security at my address — it is a standard apartment. The driver could ring the bell or call me, which I confirmed multiple times.
I contacted UPS customer service five separate times. Each time I received an apology and was assured the issue was fixed and that delivery would happen the following day. Every single promise was broken.
The issue was eventually escalated to a senior agent, who claimed the driver could not access my street. We explicitly agreed on an alternative delivery to Daybreak, North King Street, Dublin, and I was told it would be delivered the next day.
The next day, I went to the shop myself. UPS had delivered other packages there — but not mine. The staff had no record of it at all.
This package was a Christmas gift, and due to UPS’s repeated failures and false assurances, it is now impossible for it to arrive in time since the 24th places do half day work. The entire purpose of the purchase has been ruined.
This experience shows a complete lack of accountability, unreliable tracking updates, and customer service that repeatedly gives assurances it cannot or does not keep.
I would strongly advise anyone ordering time-sensitive items to avoid UPS if they want their package to actually arrive.

Parcel was due to be delivered to Skerries on the 12th of December 2025, but got rescheduled to the following week. I then changed the on the 15th of December 2025 to suit the new delivery date of the 16th December. I accepted that there would be a slight delay as a result. The package is now stuck and I was told that I should not be able to change the delivery address, but it was surprisingly easy to do that. It is now the 23rd of December and I have now been asked to get the sender involved to resolve the issue. Problem is that the parcel contains specialist food - that is not available in Ireland - for my ill cat. I have now run out of suitable food for him and his condition is deteriorating. And UPS only apologised for my inconvenience and thanks me for my understanding. Truly a terrible experience.

Hi
I am waiting an international parcel. This company did not send the reminder for paying clearance charges. Paid clearance charge since 17 th Dec. As per tracking my parcel is in warehouse. I have contacted customer care on 19 th Dec asked me to wait until evening unable to provide an answer when my parcel delivered. Online tracking details shows my parcel is in the warehouse since 17 th Dec. When I spoke with the customer care on Friday stated I paid clearance charge late that is why my parcel delayed, no sign of parcel yet. Emailed the customer asking to file a complaint for lost items through sender. It may be easy for the people who work may be harder for the parents/ siblings unreal time to spend on creating such a parcel to the relatives. It was emotional and stressful of not getting my parcel yet. Poor experience. Received several parcel via A post and DHL never had a issues. There is no contact number to warehouse. My home address to warehouse only 30 minutes. I am not sure what is the purpose of running company unable to process the customer request through proper way. Received a email today saying that there is no movement of parcel from warehouse since 19 th Dec want to file for lost items.

Worst Company ever, I should have got my delivery on the 16/12 and they messed the label address. Once I got the email I called straigh away to see what was wrong and fix it. They couldn't solve anything, I called more 5 times on the 16/12 and 17/12 explaning that it couldn't be delayed and how important the package was. I sent emails, called, everybody lied, informing that it would be delivered and someone would contact me. For NO SURPRISES, today 19/12 I still didn't receive my package and they keep promissing that it will be delivered today and someone will contact. That is unacceptable. Nobody contacted me, my package is not here. It ruined all the plans I had.

Without doubt worst shipping company. Shipped a laptop with to amazon returns, they said they were returning it to me. They lost it and made it near impossible to claim for the loss and now they are hassling to pay an additional duty for UK customs for something they never delivered!!! As a receiver of goods I have found that thry don't arrive on the day cited and drivers lie that they made an attempt when they are nowhere on security camera. Had one leave couple hundred euros of goods sitting in my front garden

The UPS driver for my town seem to not understand house numbers. My package was delivered down the road we just happened to be lucky to see him and know we were expecting a package that day. There has been at least two other people in the town who has had the same problem lately and one still hasn’t found where their package showed up. These things are ridiculous especially this close to Christmas. Do better.

A delivery from Portugal arrived at the depot Roscommon on 4/12/2025.UPC claimed they delivered this item also on 04/12/2025 at 9.00 am.
This is story they related to my supplier in Portugal. It is patently untrue and it smacks of big cover up. They are unable to provide proof of delivery to a rural residence . It is strange that the time of delivery started was exactly 9.00am
This is very strange and untrue

What a mess UPS is. It is hard to believe the level of incompetence of the company and their customer service that is simply clueless. It seems like they really want to fill in after Fastway is gone, and not in a good way. Items ordered from The Netherlands, everything goes well until it reaches Roscommon hub. 2 orders arrive (early and without any notification that delivery is happening on the day). 3rd order in not there. Should be on Monday. On Monday there is nothing. On Tuesday I call customer service. They say it is in delivery and will be with me by the end of the day. Tracking tho still says Roscommon. Obviously it did not arrive. I call them again asking where is it. No one knows. Somewhere. but I can fill complaint form (and they send UK site link even though I am based in ROI). Irish site does not work at all. I emailed them it is not possible to make complaint about service in ROI on UK site. They send me XL form to feel and guess what - they ask for address it was shipped from (exact location where package was picked up). Really??? I did not get it yet, so I have no clue. After some time investigating, I found company address, email address and phone number. In the mean time tracking status changed to delayed with no date and not estimate. Customer service have no clue what actually happened with the package or if it even reached Roscommon hub. Finally package arrives last Friday and status jumps immediately from delayed to delivered. Again no notification, nothing at all whatsoever. From this moment onwards I will definitely look for alternatives when UPS is listed as delivery service. You should too!

Trying over a week to get my package I live in city center Dublin , I have gotten no emails or texts to say out for delivery it was supposed be delivered 8th December no sign ! Once I go onto the website states attempted delivery which is a lie , I live in apartments and I dread when I have to use ups as I know automatically my parcel won’t come down to the fact the driver just won’t get out and attempt to delivery the access is broken all public can enter my complex but they are just not bothered to find parking or to drive to the resident access to deliver it’s shocking and ruined my day dealing with this company

My package has been sitting in a UPS warehouse for a week now with zero movement. I contacted customer service and was told the delivery is blocked because my phone number is missing. Apparently they have to request it from the sender and, for some reason, it cannot be added over the phone.
