Neil From stopsley is an absolute…
Neil From stopsley is an absolute nightmare from hell agent. He has a lady called Ann who is very rude - they don’t know what customer service means ! Keep away from this agent.
Avoid these amateurs.
Milton Keynes branch. Bunch of absolute amateurs. Don’t go near them they don’t know the meaning of customer service. The cliche of everything bad in an estate agent. They play buyers off against each other to increase offers and force through sales. They say your offers been accepted and then it’s sold to someone else. List me a house. They say they’ll get back to you with urgent information and never do. Always pathetic excuses for not calling back or sticking to timeframes. Not to be trusted. Not to be used. Wish I’d read the other reviews on here before NOT dealing with them.
Johnathan Blake the owner
Johnathan Blake the owner, marketed a property that was already sold to speed up the previous sale, he re marketed the property. This is without informing us of the situation. After being kept in the dark and wasting £700 on Legal fees he called to say the the property had sold and contracts had been exchanged without being given the fair right to deal in the situation and keeping all parties informed. Avoid at all costs as this is a very under handed company and quite prepared for you the customer to loose money at their own gain. Be careful and hold on to your wallet.
First class service from Barton Le Clay Branch
From our very first meeting with Mark from the Barton Le Clay branch of Urban and Rural it was clear that we were dealing with a true professional. He arrived at the first meeting with a pack of information to help us place a value on the property. The photos were of a very high standard and Mark actually returned much later in the day to get an outside shot in better light. A buyer was found almost immediately.
At every stage we were kept fully informed as to how things were progressing and phone calls/ emails were always responded to within an hour or so.
I really cannot praise Mark and Debbie enough for the way they handled the sale of mum's bungalow.
THANK YOU!!
What a terrible lieing company
What a terrible lieing company. I signed up to a 12 week contract and in the end they didn't sell my house so I cancelled after 12 weeks and decided to stay because of covid they are now threatening to charge me 1.5% because I'm staying at home!
What liers - they are scammers! Stay away and go with someone else!
Our chain was broken by our buyer
Our chain was broken by our buyer, so we were forced to pull out of the sale/purchase. Emailed UAR (Milton Keynes) and asked for our front door key back, got no reply. In the end had to phone them requesting the key back, and they came back saying they did not have a key for our house. We have witnesses that can prove a key was supplied, so now I am facing a bill to replace the front door lock
Worst experience ever
This review has been long pending as I bought the property in Oct last year (2019), I have the worst and horrible experience with these people who call themselves as estate agents. During the sale process, I was about to get few hundred pounds from the sellers as they delayed the sale process by a week or so (Contracts were not excahnged) due to which i had to pay additional rent and U&R negotaited a deal with the whole chain that everyone will contribute towards that rent. They advised that I can collect this in cash from their office when I collect the keys and requested me to not to involve my solicitor to avoid complicating the process. But apparently somewhere in between all the parties in chain refused to pay the money and Urban & Rural never communicated this back to me while they were talking \/ communicating with me every day to confirm the exchange date and told me only when I went to collect the keys (that too when I asked about the money). They even put the blame back to me that my solicitor delayed the process and hence everyone refused to pay the money and I should have checked with them (They even said it was not their duty to communicate this back to me). I would request everyone to deal with them very carefully and won't recommend them to anyone.
Also, When we put the offer forward, they said whole chain is ready and is in very advanced stage but we were ready with the paperwork before the whole chain, so clearly they lied about that also from the beginning.
I am writing this review only to warn and help other people so you can deal with them carefully and not trust them.
If I could write zero stars I would
If I could write zero stars I would. Shocking company that don’t follow the law. Lie through their teeth too.
