Very professional, allways willing to help going above and beyond my previous estate agents experience. Very happy with service received.

I am looking to rent out my late Mothers house in Hatfield so went on CP Hatfield website and requested a valuation. Many days passed and having not heard back, I rang the Welwyn Garden City branch instead.

I was told that as the property was in Hatfield, the Hatfield branch would have to deal with it. They took my details and said they would pass them on and I would get a call back.

It is 10 days later and no one has bothered to call me. Useless....

She handled everything so calmly and professionally from start to finish, and her communication was excellent throughout the whole process. I recently sold a property through Country Properties’ Shefford office, and I can’t praise the team highly enough. My main contact, Steph Beresford, was an absolute pleasure to work with. Everyone I dealt with had such a friendly, positive, and light-hearted attitude, which made the whole process so much easier and far less stressful.

This wasn’t a straightforward sale, and they worked far harder than a typical transaction would usually demand. As the sale had to be handled remotely due to the distance from my home, their support truly went above and beyond. They kept an eye on the property, checked in regularly, and even took the final meter readings at the end of the sale — something I’m incredibly grateful for.

Country Properties’ Shefford team is genuinely wonderful to deal with, and their dedication, kindness, and professionalism made all the difference. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We purchased a property through Country Properties Ampthill, after agreeing our purchase, our chain broke, They were very helpful, checking out the new chain all the time upto completion.
We had a private sale on our home and they set our mind at rest keeping us informed all the way.

Unfortunately this company cannot be trusted by Landlords . Having formulated a contract many years ago they recently tried to impose add additional costs which were not an acceptable change tour agreement . We subsequently decided to terminate our agreement because of this and incurred an introduction fee on our properties after many years of business . A bad experience .

My experience with the Letting Side of CP Ampthill was unfortunately less than satisfactory. While there were moments of professionalism and helpfulness, the overall service from the management team was significantly impacted by very poor communication and a general lack of competence. Interactions often felt dismissive and unprofessional, leading to delays and frustration. I hope the company takes steps to improve their customer service and operational efficiency to ensure a consistently positive experience for all clients.

From the outset to completion Country Properties in Ampthill were brilliant!
