Urban did a great job with my apartment clean

It’s pretty easy to use the urban company app to book a regular clean. It would be good with some added functionality (e.g. easier to change booking details) but overall good. I like that you can see the reviews if your service professionals and make changes prior to them arriving.
Our cleaners are well priced and trustworthy.

I was able to book a cleaner for the next day recently which was super handy! The cleaner was on time, gave the house a really good clean and was friendly. Booking thru the app is very simple and easy to know how much you’re paying upfront.

Seriously, do not use this company. I paid for a number of services, most of which were badly done, and 2 of which were not even attempted (fridge and rangehood), and I notified Urban Company of this the very same day. Two months later I still haven't had a resolution, and have contacted them more than 15 times via email and phone, been promised I'll get a reply but nothing.

I would never recommend this company.

If you are about to join the company, think again. I worked for this comapany for month and half. This job is not only physical but lots of mental stress as well from Company itself. They care about nothing but money. They take 23% commissions of every single work you do. They don’t look after their staff at all. Worst worst worst company. You won’t earn anything from it. They promise you $40/hr but trust me they are only counting the time that you are at the home. The travel time, the time you are waiting to start for second home and etc you only get $20 /hr plus you have to pay your own taxes. They say it’s like your business, but you can’t even reschedule the booking at app. No possible control over it at all. You are literally working as a sheep for the company. All the workers who are supposed to be there when you call while work problems or so, I don’t know what they are there for, they do nothing. Too quick to take money out of your account but won’t even pay you the superday guarantee making 100 excuses. Also you work for rating not money, you have to maintain 4.3 rating or you get blocked and when you get 1 star the rating goes down by 1 percent but when you get 5 star, the rating only goes up by 0.3 percent. Then they start torturing you for it and block you if it goes below 4.3. And then beg you again to come for a “refresher training”. Not worth it at all. Save yourself and take my advice, I am doing you a favour, do not work for this company or you will be here in few weeks joing my review.

Also love using urban company to clean my home. The app makes it so easy to customise each booking and it’s such a stress free process. Al of the cleaning professionals are really lovely as well. Would definitely recommend.

Love urban company - so easy to just get a room and a bathroom cleaned or change it to the whole house.
Also have had the pest control and the guy was very knowledgeable and took his time

I’ve used urban co a few times now, each time been assigned a different person and each time I have been extremely satisfied with the cleaning carried out. All cleaners were friendly and efficient.

Giving a 1 star because there's nothing lesser than that. We booked one month in advance and planned our flight tickets accordingly. 12 hours before the service, they cancelled on us due to apparent technical issues. We had to clean the entire house because it was too late to find anyone. Can't believe how ridiculous this company is. Last time they were late and now they never showed up. Wow. Highly recommend to shut it down rather than operate at this point. Our friends had a horrible experience too where the cleaners didn't clean the property efficiently.

Very easy to book service. The app is great and easy to navigate. The pricing was also fair. The cleaner was really good and I was impressed with the deep clean of the bathroom.

Love Urbancompany. Their service is excellent. I love the flexibility of their offering. Carolina who cleaned our house, left it spotless with some thoughtful touches.

The professionals that I have used have always been polite, on time and generally do a good job. The issues I often face are with the app itself and not showing the correct availability for the professionals.

The booking process was easy and smooth, I was able to reschedule my appointment easily as well. The professional assigned to complete my move-in/move-out clean was excellent, she was lovely to deal with, on time and did a great job.

Ryan always comes on time with a smile! I love the app it’s very convenient as a work a lot and get very time poor. When I’ve had issues in the past urban company always got back to me and resolved it. Thank you for making my time and life easier!

4/5 Stars for easy to book service that allows you to alter/amend as needed or book long-term. The app is simple to select what needs to be cleaned and can easily book at short notice.
