Since when soundbar becomes prohibited ?

To clarify, for shipments to India via the selected service (most likely the DDP option), electronics (including soundbars) are not accepted due to destination country regulations and service limitations.

Destroyed wood frame and no money from insurance

I used Meest to ship a package from the US to Germany. It was insured since it was a personally precious larger photo frame, a gift from my wife. When it arrived in Germany even the sturdy wood frame was destroyed. No idea what force you need to do this. Then, Meest did not replace the package since my wife accepted it before we unpacked it. Never again. Terrible company.

Last-mile carrier replied stating:

In response to the complaint regarding the aforementioned parcel, we would like to apologize for the situation. We would like to inform you that investigations are currently underway.

We would also like to kindly request that you send us the documents necessary to continue the case:

• photos of the goods' protection inside the parcel.

We would also like to inform you that, in accordance with Section XII, Section 6 of the Regulations: "If (...) the complaint does not meet the conditions specified above in Section 5, GLS Poland will request the complainant to supplement it (...)." Failure to supplement the complaint within 14 days of receiving the request in the above-mentioned scope will result in the complaint not being processed.

Katreen from Meest answered:
"Unfortunately, due to that the parcel was delivered on 26th of August and reported damaged on 15th of September, which passed the claim window".
- I was 3 weeks in Europe and the parcel went through Poland and they only spoke Polish. As soon I returned, I wrote an email.
For me, never again since when the package is out of the USA, you are alone.

Fast and simple

Needed to send some books to Germany. Just brought the box to the office and was out in 2 minutes. Very convenient for busy people.

Still using them after years

I’ve been shipping with this service for a long time now and it’s one of those things you just stop worrying about. Parcels go out as planned, tracking is clear, and nothing ever feels chaotic. That consistency is why I keep coming back.

This company has no proper management or quality control.

I haven’t even shipped my package yet, but I’m already running into issues with Meest customer service. I simply need a parcel deleted from my account (the interface isn’t user-friendly and doesn’t allow any changes once a shipment is created). It’s been 5 days, and every day a different representative tells me IT will take care of it “today.”
I understand it’s likely not the representatives’ fault, they probably submit a request, and the IT department just doesn’t follow through. From what I’m seeing, the same pattern happens with other issues as well (and I see negative reviews everywhere).
There seems to be no proper management in place to oversee anything: no supervision and no quality control. The Ukrainian girls keep apologizing, but at the end of the day they’re being let down by management because they’re not able to actually resolve anything or help customers.
По-русски такая компания называется “шарашкина контора.” Overall, this feels like complete incompetence and a lack of respect for customers from the ownership side.

Don't this service - delivery times are scam

This company is a scam and completely unresponsive.

I picked a service for air shipment which is supposed to take 5-7 days from San Francisco to Krakow, Poland.

The parcel was dropped at Fedex location on February 9th. It took a whole week alone to move the parcel West to East Coast. It's been another 8 days and the location of my parcel is unknown.

On the 20th, it arrived in New Jersey. It took another 4 days for another status change (24th) Added to Container, then on the 25th that it was shipped.

It seems that instead of air transport, it's truck (within us) and ship to Europe.

A scam company - don't user their service. Seems all positive reviews are fake.

The domestic transit time within the U.S. (for example, from California to New Jersey) is handled separately by the carrier and is not included in the international delivery estimate.

Parcels dropped off on the West Coast first travel to our New Jersey hub before being dispatched internationally by air. During certain periods, domestic transit may take longer than usual due to weather conditions, operational disruptions, or carrier delays. We want to assure you that air shipments are transported by air internationally.

Smooth shipment to Berlin

Send a package to Berlin and honestly had no complaints along the way. Paperwork, packing, tracking - everything was handled calmly and professionally. Would use the Meest service again.

Best surprise for my boyfriend

My boyfriend's birthday was coming up, and I decided to send a surprise box to Hungary with little gifts - letter, chocolate, and a photo of us framed. I used Meest for the first time and didn't really know what to expect. But everything went great. He got it in 10 days and was totally shpcked. "You win girlfriend of the year" he joked. Worth it!

Five boxes were shipped from LA to…

Five boxes were shipped from LA to Odessa Ukraine by air which cost over 640 US dollars to get the packages here by Christmas. It is January 30th 2026 and one of my packages has been in Ukraine for over 40 days and it is still not at my house. They repeatedly lied to me telling me it was in processing. I went to the chatbots I went to the chat support and all of it told me it would be three to five days from the time it went to customs. But even after being released from customs which took 30 days, it's been sitting in my local depot for already three days without getting shipped to me. I was informed it would be delivered today so once again I waited home so far almost half the day and contacted support again and they told me they're having technical difficulties again. Someone needs to buy a generator because Odessa does have electricity problems right now due to Russian shelling of the substations. But it's funny all the grocery stores are still getting all of their shipments. So as a logistics company I'm not impressed especially being a military veteran. I think who's in charge of meest should be relieved of their position and put someone else in there who actually cares. So I have to wait again all day tomorrow for them to probably tell me they're going to deliver another day based on previous experience. Of my other four boxes two of them were damaged. One of them looked like it was thrown off a roof. I had damage to my contents. And contacting support told me I had to go fill out a bunch of forms with receipts for items that were damaged. So I'm not really happy with their service at this time.

Their insurance paid us $23 for a 32lbs lost package

Their insurance paid us $23 for a 32lbs lost package being shipped to Ukraine. No apologies, no negotiations. They know that there is no other company that will ship so they can do whatever. Use them at your own risk. Sometimes it works sometimes you get screwed.
