The wording on this website is very misleading. During the filing process, there was an error in both the spelling and status of my business name. As soon as I noticed the mistake, I contacted USA LLC Filing through their chat service and was told that corrections could be made as long as the filing had not yet been submitted.

Despite clearly communicating that my organization is a nonprofit, I was charged $251 for an LLC filing that I neither needed nor requested. When I contacted customer service to address the issue, I spoke with representatives who were unprofessional, argumentative, and unwilling to listen to my concerns. Rather than working toward a resolution, they focused on explaining why they would not issue a refund.

To make matters worse, an additional charge of $199 was placed on my card without my authorization. After I reported the charge as fraudulent, I received an immediate response and the funds were refunded. However, this experience left me deeply concerned about the security of my payment information, especially since I have never previously had issues with unauthorized activity on my card.

When my refund request was denied, I asked for an itemized receipt so I could understand exactly what services I was being charged for. Instead of receiving clear documentation, I was given repeated excuses and conflicting explanations. I was even told they did not believe I wanted their services. My response was simple: if my payment is being retained, then the company should either provide the services purchased or clearly explain the charges.

This experience was frustrating, stressful, and disappointing. I believe the company needs to improve its transparency, customer service, billing practices, and dispute-resolution process. Customers seeking legitimate business assistance should not have to fight for answers or feel dismissed when raising valid concerns.

How the company can improve:

Use clearer language on the website regarding services offered.
Verify business type information before processing filings.
Obtain explicit customer authorization before charging additional fees.
Provide itemized invoices upon request.
Train customer service representatives to handle disputes professionally and respectfully.
Resolve customer concerns through transparency rather than confrontation.

USA llc is the worst place to go to if you want an llc id recommend any other place but here they are expensive, have hidden fees, and very misleading id run and not look back before signing up with them

Extra fees that you don’t see until your order confirmation. This company doesn’t feel right that is does that. I submitted my order a few hours before receiving a confirmation and then immediately tried to email support for a refund because that is ridiculous. This is definitely a company I would double check probably just avoid. I hope they refund me and do the right thing.

Update 24 hours later. I moved my review to 2 stars because I did send an email regarding my complaint and they called me quickly to have a conversation. Ultimately they refunded me. Do your research and look at all options.

This process is really confusing and overwhelming to try to navigate on your own. Missed a couple of their emails to complete filing initially, but customer support was very helpful, clearly explaining the process and what I needed to do. I also got my documents very quickly, which was a plus!!

I needed help setting up an LLC for my bakery, and I googled what I thought was a government site. Turns out it was a third-party that services all of the US, not the US government.

After I realized, I was skeptical and tried to contact them to cancel but their AI chatbot was not helpful. I had to wait until a weekday to hear back from a human.

I changed my mind about them and they ended up being really helpful, especially with my EIN which had an error message that required a long hold time for an IRS phone call.

Service was great, but definitely recommend reading the fine print and all confirmation emails to make sure you only pay for what you need.

This is what this company does.
Bundles hidden recurring fees into a standard LLC filing process. A deceptive and predatory billing practice. I placed an order for an LLC filing, not a costly secondary subscription service. This company is well-known for these shady, opt-out tactics designed to trick consumers. Burying a $199 fee in the fine print of a "Submit" button does not constitute informed, lawful consumer consent. I wonder how many times they’ve gotten away with this. Probably plenty since sadly, they’re still in business.

I am moving forward immediately with a formal fraud and merchant dispute with my bank to reverse this charge.

I am communicating with their customer service department at the moment and there are a lot of back-and-forth emails. Obviously, without a successful outcome.
