I contacted Sam Wood to move a car that I purchased. They quoted me a price and after 2 weeks my car was never shipped. They kept saying they could not find a driver for the price they quoted me. They wanted more money. I am still trying to get my money back. Do not ship a vehicle with these guys. It is a scam.

Please stay away, these people are not in the USA, total con artist with fake names.

Was quoted $800 but ended up paying $2200 . Car was delivered in 10 days because truck broke down . It wasnt picked up door to door , had to drive car to a bigger intersection. Would have used Monty transport service instead , they pickup and drop off door to door without a problem ….

This company scammed us by quoting us less than $500 and on the day of pickup said the price couldn't be cheaper than $1300. Would not refund the $125 deposit after lying to us. They also attempted to charge a $200 cancelation fee after they screwed us over. The high star reviews must be fake. I would not trust them.

It is truly amazing to me that this company shows an overall review of over 4 stars!!
BEWARE! The price I was given when requesting quotes from carriers was $245. In the end it cost me $450! They “low ball” you and once you make the commitment the pricing starts to go up.
When I challenged the price increases (plural) they advised it was all in the contract I signed electronically. Shame on me for not taking the time to read the contract. I assumed I was dealing with a reputable company. Honesty and integrity- not with this company.

I'm so relieved that my car arrived in perfect condition. Thank you for the excellent handling of my car. Thank you for providing such a reliable and trustworthy service.

Do not trust this company it is a total SCAM they took my deposit and told me they could get the car shipped for 365 which was a total lie fir me to sign a contract then told me the price would be double, so I told them to send my money back they tried to tell me they were still working on it tried to get me to wait around until they could get a driver to take the price they quoted.
Then basically I would get a voucher [as if I would ever do business with again] totally do not give them your money!
