False advertising horrible service

We ordered a VSD compressor, had some issues but they fixed them, The dryer I bought with it was not as advertised, they sent was smaller and does not keep up. We need a new back up compressor so I ordered a straight screw compressor, they sent me one that was 6 years old. What a joke, Screw these guys don't waste your money, believe all the bad reviews. I ordered oil change kit and they took 2 months to ship it.

No tech support or parts contact

Compressor control valve is malfunctioning and we can't reach anyone to get tech support or even to get a parts manual to order parts. Tried multiple times to call both the USA contact and the Canadian contact, but no response. You can get an AI generated suggested troubleshooting steps, but still can't order parts that you are required to purchase from them.

Very Poor Experience

Very Poor Experience – Misleading Sales, No Support, $70,000+ Equipment Wasted

Review Content:

About two years ago, we purchased an air compressor from US Air Compressor and paid 100% upfront.

Their sales representative promised clearly (and in writing) that the compressor would be properly packaged, installed, and supported by their technical team. Based on these assurances, we moved forward with the purchase.

After delivery, we were shocked to find that the unit was not fully assembled and required significant on-site assembly by ourselves. The installation manual was unclear and confusing, and critical technical details were never properly explained.

We repeatedly requested that US Air Compressor send a technician to our site, as was originally promised. There are email records confirming that they acknowledged this request and stated they would send someone.

However, no technician was ever sent.

When problems arose after installation, the company immediately shifted blame to us, claiming the installation was done incorrectly — despite the fact that:

Their own documentation was inadequate

They refused to provide on-site support

They failed to honor their original installation commitment

The salesperson became defensive and evasive, constantly arguing instead of resolving the issue.

As a result, this compressor — costing us approximately USD 70,000–80,000 — has never been put into operation for even one minute and is now sitting unused in our warehouse.

Based on our experience, US Air Compressor appears to be little more than an assembly company with extremely poor after-sales support and questionable business integrity.

I strongly caution other buyers: do not rely on verbal or written promises from their sales team, and be prepared to receive no real technical support after payment is made.

This has been a very costly and disappointing lesson for us.

US air compressor & Burloak Tire shop

Got a small tire shop here on Burloak Dr, Oakville. Nothin fancy, just me tryin to keep things rollin, eh. My shop’s pretty small, so I needed somethin that don’t eat up space but still does the job good.

Found this “all in one” deal from US Air, and to be honest, I was like… ya right, sounds too good to be true, buddy. But turns out they actually build the compressor in Burlington! I drove down there myself, saw it with my own two eyes. The other places were just showrooms, all talk, no tools.

So I said screw it, let’s give it a go. And man… this thing’s quiet. Like, really quiet. They call it AirCenter, but I call it the all-inclusive vacation package 😅 — tank, dryer, compressor all jammed in one box. Plug it in, and off ya go.

Comes with 10 years warranty too, which ain’t bad at all. Did a bit of diggin, found out their Burlington spot’s been around like 7 years or so, so that made me feel better, eh.

Paid about 12K all in for the 15 horse unit. Runs smooth, barely any noise. Pretty damn happy with it, not gonna lie.

Good gear, good price, and made right here in Ontario. Can’t beat that, eh! 🍁

Compact Design- Aircenter Units

We have supermarkets chain. I purchased their 10HP aircenter unit on February 2025. It worked perfectly and I am about to buy 2 more units now. They have the best warranty. Just make sure to install as per their manual and follow their maintenance schedule. They are taking care of all the rest.

Best cost effective compressor ever.

I purchased the air compressor from US Air Compressor last year. They manufacture their compressors in Canada. To be honest, the quality, the performance and their service far better than any of their competitors. Their compressors are quite. I advise everybody to have their compressors.

Illegal practices do not buy they take control of your machine

I am dealing with a very frustrating and potentially illegal situation with US Air Compressor. Coercive sales tactics, especially those that involve disabling equipment you've purchased unless you buy high-priced parts, are serious and may violate consumer protection laws.
Here's what you can do:
1. Document Everything:
* Keep detailed records: Note dates, times, names of people you spoke with, what was said, and any demands made (e.g., specific parts and prices, threats to shut off the compressor).
* Save all communications: Keep emails, text messages, invoices, contracts, and any other written correspondence.
* Gather evidence: If possible, record phone calls (check your state's laws on one-party or two-party consent for recording conversations), or take videos/photos of the compressor being shut off or any relevant issues.
2. Contact US Air Compressor Directly (Professionally):
* Formal Complaint: Send a formal written complaint (via certified mail with a return receipt requested) to US Air Compressor. Clearly state your issue, refer to any relevant contract terms, and demand a resolution. State that you consider their actions to be coercive and potentially illegal.
* Contact information: According to their website, you can reach them at or call +1 612-987-8933 (US Sales & Support) or +1 905 238 0225 (CAN Sales & Support).
3. Report the Issue to Consumer Protection Agencies:
* Federal Trade Commission (FTC): The FTC is the primary federal agency for consumer protection in the U.S. They investigate unfair, deceptive, and fraudulent business practices. You can file a complaint at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. While the FTC doesn't resolve individual disputes, your report helps them identify patterns and take action against companies.
* Better Business Bureau (BBB): File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. The BBB attempts to mediate disputes between consumers and businesses. While US Air Compressor has generally positive reviews on their own site, filing a complaint with the BBB will put your experience on record. You can file a complaint at . Look up "U.S. Air Compressor" in Bloomington, MN (their BBB profile is listed).
* State Attorney General's Office: Contact the Attorney General's office in your state (and potentially the state where US Air Compressor is based, which appears to be Minnesota). State Attorneys General have consumer protection divisions that can investigate and take action against businesses engaging in deceptive or coercive practices.
* Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB): While primarily focused on financial products, if there's any financing involved with the compressor or parts, the CFPB might be relevant.
4. Consider Legal Action:
* Consult an Attorney: If the monetary value of the parts or the damage caused by the compressor being shut off is significant, or if you believe they are engaging in illegal business practices, it would be wise to consult with an attorney specializing in consumer law or contract law. They can advise you on your legal rights and options, including:
* Breach of Contract: If their actions violate the terms of your purchase agreement or warranty.
* Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices (UDAP): Many states have laws prohibiting businesses from engaging in unfair or deceptive acts or practices. Coercing customers through equipment disablement would likely fall under this.
* Coercion/Extortion: Depending on the specifics, their actions might even constitute a form of economic coercion or extortion.
* Small Claims Court: For smaller monetary disputes, small claims court can be a more affordable and accessible option than a full lawsuit.
Key Legal Concepts to Be Aware Of:
* Unfair and Deceptive Acts or Practices (UDAP): These are broad consumer protection laws that prohibit 9businesses from engaging in practices that mislead consumers or are otherwise unfair. Threatening to disable equipment to force a sale would likely be considered unfair.
* Contract Law: Your purchase agreement with US Air Compressor is a contract. If they are violating its terms, you may have a claim for breach of contract.
* Implied Warranty of Merchantability: In most states, products sold come with an implied warranty that they are fit for their ordinary purpose. If the compressor is being disabled and made unusable, this warranty could be breached.
It's crucial to act swiftly and systematically to protect your rights. Good luck!

I've been using US Air 50HP compressor…

I've been using US Air 50HP compressor for the past three years and haven’t had any issues at all. It’s connected to their server via the internet, so both we and the company can track usage time. This makes it easy to know when maintenance is due or when filters need changing—no guesswork involved.
What I really appreciate is that the maintenance costs are clear in advance, based on actual usage data. Their technical support has also been great. Once, we had a question about changing the filters, and when I called, the customer service rep explained everything clearly and patiently.
As long as we follow the installation guidelines and perform scheduled maintenance using OEM parts, they always honour their warranty. For example, they replaced my inverter within just two days without any issues.
If you're looking to use air compressors in your workplace, I’d definitely recommend this company.

Great Screw Compressors

Since 2022, I have been operating five 50 HP, 600-volt VFD-driven compressors, and I must say, they have exceeded my expectations. Not only do they offer the best value in the market, but their build quality is truly outstanding—something I can confidently attest to after 35 years of experience in the mechanical field.

What truly sets these compressors apart is their durability and performance, backed by a responsive and reliable customer service team. I’ve diligently followed the recommended service plans, and whenever I’ve needed warranty support—such as fan and inverter replacements—the process has been quick and hassle-free.

For anyone in need of high-efficiency, robust compressors with top-notch after-sales service, I highly recommend this brand. They deliver on both quality and support, making them a smart long-term investment.

Company refuses to honor warranty under…

Company refuses to honor warranty under a wide variety of excuses, usually related to if your compressor has connected to the internet lately. Won't give prices on replacement parts under the same reasons. They currently are refusing to replace an aftercooler with a cracked weld because the compressor has not connected to the server in too many days. The compressor has not connected to the server because their bluetooth dongle is faulty. They will also not replace the faulty dongle.

I have five 15 HP compressors installed…

I have five 15 HP compressors installed in my different tire shops in Ontario, and I can confidently say that US Air Compressor is a great company that truly stands behind their products.

They only asked me to use OEM parts and follow the recommended PM schedule, which is fair for maintaining the equipment. When one of my compressors failed, they promptly had it returned to their shop for inspection. After evaluating the issue, they sent me a brand-new replacement compressor—a level of customer support that is hard to find!

I highly recommend US Air Compressor to anyone looking for reliable compressors and excellent service. You can trust them to take care of their customers!

No support for replacement parts, will not stand behind warranty.

Bought a US20 VSD two years ago and installed with the understanding that it could be used on our standard 240v single phase power supply. Inverter fan went bad, still haven't received a replacement after 6 months. Main air line from air end developed a leak, they said they can't just send me a replacement. Now they're saying that nothing will be covered under the 10 year warranty moving forward because the permissible input voltage is 208-230v single phase. The standard single phase voltage in the US, per my power company, is 240v, there is no way to change that.

Awful company to deal with

We bought a product from them within the last 12 months and the company stated they had a 10-year warranty. The warranty was backed by proper upkeep. We did all of the things they told us to do and more. Then when the motor blew they denied our claim saying it was "too dusty" even though we cleaned it every week. After days on end of no response from their customer service team, finally they actually looked. Any by looked at it I mean they just viewed a picture we submitted and denied us from that. There is no due diligence with this company and no justifiable reasoning to deny our warranty. They clearly mislead their customers by saying it is backed by a non-existent warranty. It is extremely frustrating and now we are out thousands of dollars and have no air compressor during our busiest time of the year which has resulted in significant shipping delays. They claim American made but their products clearly are not. Just an awful company with terrible business practices.

Scam Of A Warranty

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY:
We bought a screw compressor based on their promises of “no surprises,” “no downtime,” and a “10-year warranty.”

In under a year, the motor failed. Although we followed all maintenance and cleaning guidelines, they refused to honor the warranty, blaming a “dusty” environment. It took them 10 days to even provide this excuse.

Their warranty guarantees are a lie. Stay far away from this company.
