Thank you for a high quality installation of Heat Pump. Plumbing and the installation was of top quality. Rahi and Keeleigh have been very prompt and responsive to our queries. Nick, James (sorry can't remebr the person's name who spent whole day setting up the tank, plumbing around it) and others who came were very professional and helpful.

Summary:
They went up and beyond what I was expecting.
So I would highly recommend them and further use them in the future.

Full Story:
I am a resident of Southwark Council and was part of a project caller Solar Together. This scheme was to buy solar panels as a group to have more affordable solar panels.
The winning company would have an extensive group of clients. The company selected Green Energy Together (GET) went into liquidation. Leaving me with solar panels and broken inverters.
HIES and Use The Sun were the ones that come to help me. They were extremely helpful, located and corrected several issues in the previous installation.
The asked where to place the items (battery, inverters, fuse box, etc...) and place these on a sensible location.
They went up and beyond what I was expecting.
So I would highly recommend them and further use them in the future.

Just had my solar panels done on my home! They were amazing from start to finish! They answered all of my questions and were always happy to help me! The guys who installed it were so friendly and it was spotless when they left! Very happy, I will be recommending to all of my friends and family!

My initial supplier went bust so we used Use The Sun through the HIES scheme. Wish we had of gone to Use The Sun in the first place! From initial contact through survey, install and after support, every stage has been excellent, install took 1 day for a 16 panel with battery system, clean, tidy work, had a few questions afterwards relating to the SEG Tariff, these were answered swiftly and concisely. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of using this company.

The installation team were very professional, nice tidy job.They gave step by step detail of how the installation worked and how to isolate the system from the mains should any electrical work be needed in the house.Tea &coffee was on hand 😃But they deserved it.Good job all round.

I finally had solar panels installed by UTS. They took over after the original company went bust and caused mayhem and anxiety for many people. UTS together with HIES helped us get back on track and achieve our goals. The engineers worked very hard when they came to the house and were happy to answer questions. Everything was well organised.

I look forward to using solar power when it breaks through the clouds and rain!

I have just had my solar panels and Tesla battery fitted and have been really impressed with the comms and the team that came and did the fitting. All in all a great trouble free experience. It was really quick from start to finish and I would thoroughly recommend them as I am really happy with the result.

I contacted Use the Sun to install solar panels & a heat pump following a recommendation from a friend who had used them.
From the initial visit through installation they were friendly, professional and accommodating.
Once fitted I discovered an issue where they were not producing the power expected (this turned out to be an issue with the grid as opposed to the panels). Use the Sun were amazing in their back-up, sending out engineers who were able to adjust the inverter (?) to fix the issue quickly & efficiently.

Use The Sun were arranged by HIES to take on the installation of my solar system following the failure of Daylight Energy, after absconding with my deposit. From first contact UTS arranged a survey, purchased the required materials and completed the installation within a month. I could not be more satisfied with the efficiency of their staff and the results.

I had a PV system installed by Use The Sun after they were recommended by the HIES due to previous solar company went bust. Dean (Sales Team) was able to quote and set up the installation date within 6 weeks.
Dean and Keeleigh kept me up to date and were able to accommodate the building work that was already taking place at the premises and were able to use the scaffolding that was already in place.
On the installation days, two installers - Victor and Luke (apologies if I got your names wrong) were very professional and were able to recommend the locations of the installation. The installation took 2 days however it was understandable due to the type of equipment being installed.
All the installation went smoothly and quick, unlike other company who left me hanging for months.
I would highly recommend using this company.

We have had a PV system installed by Use The Sun after the company we were originally going to use went bust. I found UTS to be excellent, they kept us up to date, were very professional and turned the install around very quickly. I would highly recommend using them.

Use The Sun were appointed by HIES to take on my solar PV + battery installation following the liquidation of another (HIES registered thank goodness) supplier. Use The Sun quickly got to grips with getting me a replacement system - a home survey within a week and physical installation not long after I'd approved their proposal. When I had a minor issue a few days later UTS sent someone over to fix it, and it's all been fine since. A good team effort from the logistics/admin + the PV installers. I have my MCS no. and waiting on Octopus now to be registered as an exporter.

I cannot express how amazing Use the Sun have been over the last few weeks! This may be a familiar story to some of you.....six years ago Use The Sun installed a Solar Edge inverter for my mother. Full warranties, guarantees and paperwork. However, unbeknown to her family, scam solar company WWC Developments (now known as Energen Solar) persuaded her to have this replaced at over £3K. It didn't stop there! Along came Alternative Eco who were just about to do the same to the tune of £5K.
Now comes the amazing bit. I contacted Use The Sun who came out to assess the system within a few days. It transpires that WWC had not registered the 'new' inverter and Alternative Eco had turned the system off in an attempt to persuade my mother it wasn't working.
Sean from Use the Sun spent over 2 hours checking the system, registering the new inverter, setting up the App and showing us how to monitor everything ourselves.
I special shout out goes to Kelly in customer services, chief engineer Jazz and Sean. Great communication and service from all.
And a thank you to the CEO, who was personally kind enough to provide this service free of charge.

Huge project handled very professionally. So last autumn I signed up with Daylight Energy to get solar PV and an air source heat pump. Daylight went bust - David Humphriss, the MD, went off on a cruise while the customers and creditors waited to find out what would happen. We were absolutely furious. Humphriss is also MD of a number of other companies, PIV Direct Ltd, Redheat Solutions Ltd, with a separate Person record on Companies House each saying he has 1 appointment, but all based in Poole.

But anyway, I'm not here to rant about Daylight Rob-I mean Daylight Energy: thanks to HIES stepping in & thanks to Use The Sun buying the contracts for Solar plus ASHP from the liquidation, this harrowing tale has a happy ending. A couple of months ago UTS sent round a couple of guys to sort out the solar - working well, has already saved me a load of money - and then this week we had a bigger crew round to fit the ASHP, a hot water system, and a whole houseful of uprated radiators. They were totally professional, spent a good couple of hours making sure everything was not leaking & was heating the water exactly as it should. They gave me a good thorough handover at the end, showing me what was where & getting me signed up on the smartphone app. Without Use The Sun I'd be looking at another winter without heat, which I know I can do now, (character building stuff, they used to call it) but trust me, you would not want to given a choice. Huge thanks to Use The Sun, and to Cathryn from HIES.

Last year, we had an ASHP installed and in the process they also fixed and re-integrated an existing solar collector for hot water. Out of several companies we got quotes from, Use The Sun was the only one that was able to install the system very quickly and for a good price. And so far we've been very happy with the performance of the system.

Just had the first maintenance visit for the heat pump; had a good conversation and got some good advice from the engineer.

Overall, Use The Sun was always a pleasure to interact with.

The team know their stuff and impart knowledge in an understandable way. The heat pump service fee is reasonable given the mileage they cover.
The office team are polite, friendly and efficient.
