Utility Aid managed to get us a refund…
Kinga Kruk at Utility Aid managed to get us a refund of £1423.38 from SSE where out of the blue they had started charging us again for a property we had sold over a year previously. It has taken 7 months of repeated efforts by UA to get this resolved.

Knowledgeable and helpful
We have used Utility-Aid to negotiate on our behalf for gas and electricity contracts for the last 5 years. We have always found them knowledgeable and very helpful. A recent new contract arranged by Nathan Jones has saved us nearly £3,000 per annum on our gas.

Utility Aid provided help not pressure
Utility Aid contacted us to offer with securing a better cost for our village hall electric and gas bills. They fully explained how they could help without pressure. As our group is managed with a committee we explained that any offer would need to be put to them before any deal could be made so would require time to respond to any offer. We were allocated Fred as our advisor and he obtained quotes which were the best that could be found on offer. Again no pressure he was patient and we took the offer and he then explained next move and kept us fully informed as how things would progress. Great help! Saved money!

We were being wrongly charged for electricity we had not used.…
We were being wrongly charged for electricity by Corona energy. In spite of sending meter reads and photographs every month were were getting inflated readings estimated on our bills for months. An amazing lady, Vicky Tromp of Utility Aid contacted me and said she could help. I was very sceptical as I had not found Utility Aid to be helpful in the past but she did a wonderful job. She liased with me about our readings and photos of the meters, actually listened and understood the problem and undertook to get the correct reads accepted.It took her a couple of months but today she told me Corona have agreed that they have overcharged us and we are now nearly £2,000 in credit!
I cannot praise Vicky highly enough for her help and determination in getting this matter sorted out. She has achieved a wonderful result and has been thoroughly professional but also very understanding during the whole tortuous business,

I would agree with Alan Roberts
I would agree with Alan Roberts. It is easy to get quotes for energy supply companies and fix them in advance of contract expiry. The saving Utility Aid was offering us was 12% on existing rates. This would have been a 25% reduction was it not for their service charge which amounted to £1200PA (13%) of our bills. We were able to get a 30% reduction going direct to a supplier so I would suggest doing your homework first.

With energy bills seeming to always be on the increase, working with Utility Aid for us has been a huge part of our financial efficiency. It's hugely beneficial to work with an organisation that truly has our best interests at heart. The invoice validation service is great - we've had invoices corrected that we might not have caught ourselves.
