Terrible lights

Terrible lights.
Light output is great, but the product is terrible.

They constantly disconnect, and these absolute genuineness decided to make it so the bulbs don’t work once they lose connection.

Instead of having them resort to a constant white light when they disconnect, they decided to make them constantly flash, so although the lights themselves do work and produce light, they’re unusable for 5 minutes while you reconnect them, which is regular.

It’s an inconvenience enough myself while at home, but when I’m away and they fault and my sister is looking after my house and pets, half the lights stop working and I can’t fix it because I’m in another country.
Absolutely awful system. Whatever idiot thought it was a good idea to make them flash needs firing because that has to be the dumbest idea going.

Bought a VT -138S from tool station 5…

Bought a VT -138S from tool station 5 days ago and got in delivered direct installed today and not all the leds are lite , it’s like an inverted L pattern. This is the second one i have had in 2 years and the same happened to first one . What’s the problem with these?emailed V TAC and they are sending a replacement.

30W LED floods and PIR

Purchased two 30W LED floods (model VT-44032PS) and one PIR sensor (model VT-8094). Very pleased, great looking and well designed. PIR versatile, comes with mounting bracket that will fit to both internal and external 90 degree corners and if you don’t use the bracket the sensor mounts to flat surface. The PIR masking lens is fiddly but does the job.

Bought 2 from toolstation
First one did not work, so I assumed that I was at fault.
Second one did work, but the time wasted attempting to figure out what was wrong was extremely annoying.
It is possible that the faulty item had already been returned,and then resold (no instructions, battered box)
A 50% chance of Working item

I had a V Tac light

I had a V Tac light, purchased from Toolstation,fail after 14 months . Toolstation warranty only lasts 12 months but the V Tac warranty is 5 years. I contacted VTac late on Monday and 2 new light fittings arrived on Wednesday!! Fantastic service and thanks to Daniel in customer support.

Purchased the VTAC batten with led tube.No instructions, but managed,very flimsy ,but what I expected for the price I paid,once up it looks good in the garage and is very bright,comes on straight away,and when it does stop working ,easy dispose plastic tube.Took 2 hours to figure out and install

Brilliant service.

I contaced VTAC regarding replacements for bathroom ceiling spotlights, and Daniel was very helpful right from the beginning, and always replied promptly to my emails.

Brilliant service from V-TAC

Ordered a V-TAC light from toolstation which was poorly packaged and was missing the metal fitting bracket. They sent two replacements both also missing the bracket. Contacted V-TAC directly and they sent the bracket next day delivery. No legal responsibility to do this so much appreciated. Have the lights in my loft and shed and no faults.

Amazing company with great customer service

I had to contact V-Tac as i needed a faulty flood light replaced.I previously bought the lights from smart lighting Essex but unfortunately the company went into administration and would not replace the product directly. I spoke to Daniel Lance at V-Tac who was absolutely amazing, he sent me upgraded replacement lights as the faulty product is no longer produced by the company and l received it the next day. He also followed up with an email asking if the item was delivered and working correctly. I was very surprised how straightforward the process and delivery was. Thanks so much Daniel for your amazing customer service.

Excellent Service

I contacted V-Tac with an issue regarding a faulty light strip that I bought from Toolstation eighteen months earlier. The product information was showing a warranty of 5 years so I rang V-Tac. I supplied the required invoice (luckily the Toolstation personal account keeps a copy of all orders placed so I was able to print one off). This could have been an issue if I had bought elsewhere, because I doubt I would have kept an invoice some 18 months later. V-Tac resolved my query in a timely, efficient manner and couldn't be more helpful. A replacement part arrived the following day after I raised the query!

Warranty service first class…

Bought a v-tac light with 5 year warranty. Problem after 3 years. Supplier in administration so contacted V-tac direct. Explained problem, confirmed proof of purchase and sent picture and Co agreed to provide replacement THE SAME DAY. So all sorted within about an hour. Replacement arrived 3 days later. Brilliant service. Highly recommend

V-~TAC Europe. First Class Customer Care

Having raised a query with V-TAC re problems with one of their lighting models they responded quickly to the query. After discussing the problem with them they immediately offered to replace the fittings in question FOC. The replacements were delivered AM on the 9th.
We will continue to fit lighting from their range with this first class level of support.

After 3 years had a problem. Spoke to Kyla at Vtac re warranty within 2 hours DHL notified me that replacements were on there way. What a Brilliant service. Have ordered another batch of the led battens
