Horrible company for sellback. Take 14 BUSINESS DAYS to post a payment to PayPal?!?!??!

Order a book pay expedited shipping to get book here on 1/4, here it is 1/4 and no book. The tracking number I received gets me nowhere. Why did I even pay almost $9.00 to get the book here when I needed it if it was not going to make it. Love how when I was checking out and paying it shows the date to receive as Sat 1/4. Never again will I order from this site, wasted money on shipping and the customer service is absolutely horrible.

Quality of the books I received was not an issue and nothing was wrong with my order, it arrived on time and everything. Valore gets a one star review from me because being in college, and working full time I am extremely busy. Seeing the option to print a return label in my email from valore, I naturally assumed this would be a seamless process, as it is with most reputable book rental sites (chegg/amazon). Three days before my rentals were due (I get it, I was pushing it a little) i went to print my return label. Immediately I got an error message saying failed to process return, please try again later. Figured this was a technical issue so I tried different browsers, different computers, my phone etc. After 30 or so frustrating attempts I gave up and was kind of in a panic because I needed to return the books that day, they were due in 3 days and I was working the next 2. Valore has absolutely no customer service whatsoever. The only phone number I found for them, which is to their main office, has an automated message directing you to the website. Their lack of customer service and the ability to speak to an actual person is what’s really screwing over their reviews. This was my first time using valore and it will 100% be my last.

This is a horrible website to rent books. I tried to print my shipping label and it won't allow me to. I now have a late fee and the website doesn't give a phone number to contact costumer support. The seller does not even provide an address for me to return my book using my on FedEx shipping label. I wrote numerous emails to my seller and they still have not replied. I will never use this website again.

I ordered a book a week ago (before Thanksgiving), received confirmation on the order, given order number, then received shipping confirmation. A day or so later, I'm contacted telling me that the order was canceled and that my money was refunded without reason. This was a Christmas gift for a friend. I could have ordered from dozens of other sellers where this book was concerned and I chose Valore because of the good reviews and I got burned. How can I trust this company to do this again? They aren't dependable so be forewarned that you won't always get what you ordered.

Don’t use there buyback program. It takes them too long to check in the book and even longer to pay you via Paypal. It’s been 3 weeks and I still have not been paid even though it has been processed. The other buyback companies I have used pay promptly.

Horrible! Do NOT purchase through Valore. We purchased 2 textbooks through this company over a month before classes began. One never showed! The other did not arrive as described. We ordered Horngren's Accounting, the Financial Chapters, Student Value Edition Plus MyAccountingLab with Pearson EText -- Access Card Package. There was no Access code although the description clearly says we purchased it. When I called they said the fine print says “may not contain CD, etc”. The access code is not a CD. I argued it should have said “does not contain access code” and/ or the produce description should be changed. They didn’t care. Misleading!

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. PERIOD.

I'm so upset with this company that I have to write another review for an update. I finally found an email after sifting through a ton of complaints online (customerservice @ valorebooks.com). To reiterate, I sent in a book in perfect condition, STILL IN THE BINDER THAT I KEPT IT IN. They wouldn't accept it. So I had to FIGHT to get the book back. What they sent back was not my book. There are stickers on it, it's BEYOND damaged and was held together with RUBBER BANDS. This company is ripping off college students by taking your books, claiming they are unsellable and sending you the SH** ones that they receive. They will no longer respond to be now that they sent me this garbage back. I am so upset.

The prices paid and the prices offered for some books are ridiculous. My Biology book is practically brand new but I only got a pittance for it. There should be a better system so that people don't feel cheated. I'm getting rid of the books that don't have anything to do with my major and I'm still upset.

I sent Volare Books a text book that was in perfect condition. I barely opened it. They had quoted me a price of $40 to buy it from me. In an email to me they are telling me they aren't going to accept it. This is BS. Do not do business with this company!!!

Update: I had sent another book that was in like new condition that they quoted I would get $35 for. Again they sent an email rejecting the book. I think they expect people will just accept the fact they aren't going to get any money and let Volare keep the book and then Volare with resell or rent a book that was free to them. Big Scam! Again, don't do business with these people. I took my time to package (even paying for package materials) these books expecting a check for $75 and I got nothing but frustration. Poor business model.
