Updated review as requested:
The quality of this paint is terrible and the walls have now had so many coats to try to get rid of the patchy bits and has become so expensive with keep having to buy additional paint. The delivery of my new furniture could has had to be stored in a different room due to delay in finishing caused my your poor paint.
I purchased Valspar Premium which should have been a high quality paint!
Having read other customer views you appear to be producing unusable paint and not taking any responsibility.

Their dark colour blue emulsion paint is patchy despite how many coats you put on the wall. It chips easily and is a difficult paint to work with unlike their lighter colour paints.
Their paint tester samples are also not true to colour.

Had paint mixed at B&Q as the colour I wanted in Kitchen paint wasn't available. The guy who served me said it can only be made up as the premium mix which I agreed and paid for.
Nothing about the paint seems 'Premium' its honestly the worst quality paint I have ever used. It took loads of coats over magnolia to get anywhere near acceptable then lots of the paint peeled off when removing masking tape.
It reminds me of the cheap acrylic paints you used at school. I reached out to their helpline and was given advice which basically implied Im to blame because my walls are too big and not dry enough.
I wish I had seen these reviews beforehand. Just buy B&M's own paint from now on its probably better quality!

Your WhatsApp service was very helpful and Chloe was very patient with the me changing things around

Total crap. Had some Valspar premium kitchen and bathroom paint mixed at B&Q. Coverage is awful. The paint scrapes off with a fingernail, even on properly sanded and primed surfaces.
Avoid at all costs if you don’t want to deal with a very messy cleanup job.

Went with the 'premium' version, really liked the colour options. Other decorating jobs I'd used Dulux and Johnstone's and been really happy. I sugar-soaped and sanded walls thoroughly, used a primer layer. Poor quality paint, poor coverage, patchy, colour isn't exactly what was on the paint card. After 3 coats it's just about looking acceptable.. wouldn't use again or recommend

Getting a colour mix in paint is exciting. You get something that is unique to you. But when you choose the premium range from Valspar, for wood & metal, and it not only needs to be stirred every 2 minutes to stop it from seperating, but when it has 2 coats on the surface (wood in this case) and given days to dry (3 in fact) and then scratches off with the slightest bump..... that excitement quickly goes! My kitchen is now the colour I want, but I will have to risk buying more (if they can accurately match this) and keep touching up where it fails to have the 'excellent scuff and stain resistance' it claims to have!. Very disappointed. and £80 down in the process!!
Valspar contacted to ask for more details, then did NOTHING. Goes to show that interactions on here are purely for show!!!
UPDATE - they have had my phone number and email address for some time, but have NOT contacted to try and help or work out what went wrong, so these 'copy and paste' 'caring' replies they put on here are NOT trying to help, just trying to calm the backlash against poor quality items they make and sell, with dubious claims of performance!

After buying 5L of paint in the wrong colour, I didn’t know how to find what I wanted. Chloe helped me so much, and I went straight to B&Q and had my paint mixed. I got my paint in turning tables shade, and I’m painting with it now and it’s so perfect. Also used my voucher, thank you so much for your help Chloe xx

I brought the Paint colour spontaneous combust, which is a great shade it was what my son wanted but I’ve finished the second coat and it’s still super patchy and looks awful. I have used Johnstone's paint for the rest of my home and every wall I’ve only needed one coat so I’m incredibly disappointed.

I found the experience really helpful as it was my usual colour palette that I go for and I'm not always good at explaining things and the lady was very patient and helpful. Thank you, I'm now looking forward to making a start.
I've got the paint now and the B&Q assistant at paint mixing in Aylesbury was brilliant. Great experience all round. Thank you

Painted our lounge & hallway in Valspar clotted cream colour, needed another tin for hallway but after it had been painted it was a different shade (I'd say 2 shades darker) the kitchen was painted Valspa duck egg blue, it's been painted 3 times now but still looks patchy. If I buy more to give it a 4th coat it may be a different shade! Very disappointed, would not recommend.

Just brought Velspar Matt white to go over my white ceilings and coving . After 3 reasonable thick coats it’s still patchy . What a waste of my time as now going for a fourth but might switch back to a better premium one which I thought this was .
Avoid buying any Velspar paint waste of money and time . Really annoyed after alot of effort !!
Wonder if BQ or Velspar will take back 2/3s of paint for a refund due to poor quality paint !!

I purchased some valspar paint in store last Saturday.
I brought 3 tins of different coloured paint, one for my sons room another for my daughters room and one for the lounge.
I am extremely disappointed in the paint I have used so far.
After spending my whole week off painting there rooms, I can honestly say I wish I never bothered.
I painted my sons room first and then my daughters room, I’m currently on my 3 coat and the room is patchy, I even went and brought a fresh roller and it is still patchy.
I have now run out of paint and patience as this is just the worst thing ever, in between each coat I waited 24 hours. In my whole life I have not experienced such awful paint, it’s not even cheap.
We brought 3 as it was 3 for 2 offer on and I’m not even going to bother painting the lounge with this awful paint.stay clear people, I just wish I read the reviews before purchasing.
I have also emailed b and q and I have yet not received a email back, this was 4 days ago, terrible customer service.
