Vamos Paella Reviews 

Vamos catered for our wedding in June 2021. We were really impressed by the menu options and the flexibility on offer - particularly in accommodating COVID restrictions and changes of date and numbers. Vamos were incredibly organised in the build up to the wedding and displayed their experience in managing events like this. This gave us a lot of confidence.
On the day, Vamos provided everything promised and worked seamlessly in the background. We had so many compliments for both the presentation and taste of the food. We are so pleased with the service they provided and would recommend them to anyone!

Vamos catered for our wedding on 22nd May 2021 in Oxfordshire.

Despite all the uncertainty during the pandemic, the team at Vamos were incredibly helpful and responsive when we had to postpone our wedding from our original date in 2020. They were reassuring and quick to get back to us if we had any questions throughout the planning period, or if we wanted to clarify any options to cater for different numbers of guests, so we always felt well-prepared for whatever the restrictions allowed on the day.

On our wedding day, the two lovely Vamos representatives were amazing. They arrived on time, set up as we had agreed and without any fuss, were lovely and friendly, and provided the food exactly on time.

The menu we chose was based on one of Vamos' set menus for 2021, but Vamos were incredibly flexible and agreed to cater for our wedding according to our preferred options from across their menus. We picked and chose exactly what we wanted, and they were perfectly happy to work with our options! They also catered carefully for my sister who is coeliac, and were great at communicating with her on the day to check she had everything she needed, including bringing any substitute items for her if the main option was not gluten-free (although in our case, this was only any bread items; everything else we ordered was gluten-free, so she felt very included!).

We chose canapés, starter tapas, and three paellas, and everything was incredible! The guests were gushing over the food - everyone only had positive things to say! The portions were generous, and the food really was delicious. There was even some left over that we took home for dinner before dashing off on honeymoon!

We would definitely recommend Vamos for anyone looking for a relaxed, delicious, and great-value option for their wedding or event.

Vamos Paella sent Richard and April to cook for us. They were very efficient and professional, Paella was delicious and all my guests are still talking about it ten days later!!!

We used Vamos Paella for our wedding on 15th August and they were nothing short of perfect.

In the build up, Melissa was helpful and understood what we wanted and worked with us to create it.

On the day Marcin and Ritchie were superb. It was 2 of them Vs 30 guests and they did an amazing job. Everyone spoke so highly of them and the food. They were attentive, polite, professional and everything in between. We wouldn't hesitate in using Vamos Paella again.

Vamos Paella started doing a weekly menu of home delivered paella - and other dishes - which we ordered, with free home delivery in Brighton. The asparagus and manchego veggie paella was divine! The price is reasonable and there is something for everyone in the weekly menu, and you can order family-style servings or a range of different dishes in individual portions. The fabada Asturiana - bean and chorizo stew from Asturias in northern Spain - was very generous and if you served it with rice or bread easily fed two people and a toddler. You will be supporting a local, family-run business which sources locally and donates to local causes as well. Go order! Buen provecho!

Very professional, helpful and most importantly - great food! We had seafood paella with a few portions of vegetarian paella and all socially distanced guests really enjoyed it. Left overs were boxed up and still taste great the next day! Would happily use them again.

During lock-down we had two birthdays to celebrate.
Vamos Paella exceeded expectations with the menu and delivery alternatives. Scrumptious food fabulous portions with the added addition of deliveries to sons in Hove and Portslade. First Class.
Vamos Paella also supported a charity and money from their take outs were distributed to them in Hove. Fantastic gesture.

Fantastic quality and very tasty paella. Delivered reliably, safely and efficiently. Good value for money and I like the social conscience of the organisation which means that they give some of their profits to local homeless groups.

Food is absolutely delicious. Very high quality, fresh ingredients. Beautifully cooked and great delivery service. Really recommend!

Quite nice food but too sweet. I like my savoury food to be savoury, no added sugar.

Vamos helped bring some delight to our lockdown- and relieved the monotony of trying to rustle up a meal out of random store cupboard and fridge finds. So, so much better than supermarket ready meals. A quality, home cooked experience, with fine seasoning, good ingredients and very generous portions.

Delicious food! We particularly like the seafood paella and prawn curry and try to find an excuse to order most weeks. Great service, too: Melissa delivered it exactly when she said she would. Definitely recommend.

Nice use of spices and flavourings - including preserved lemons - but we felt the lamb tagine lacked much er, lamb.

A very belated review from my party in June 2019: Thank you very much for catering for us on Saturday - the party was a huge success.
Adrian and Oz were great. They turned up, set up and cooked and we hardly knew they were there. Similarly, when they left there was no mess and it was as if they had never been!
Most importantly everyone said the paella was delicious. I had two guests who have lived in Spain and both said it was amongst the best Paella they had tasted. The boxes were fun and a talking point and many people went back for refills. Thank you.
Louise was so organised and ran the bar smoothly all evening as well as clearing up all the boxes and tidying away all the bottles. From my point of view as host, she enabled me to relax and enjoy talking to the guests knowing that she was in control of everything. Her being there was absolutely priceless. Many thanks.
