I had found an old, faded photo of my parents and I from years ago. I was 13 at the time. My Mom passed away about a month after it was taken. The VanceAI tool did not generate a perfect restoration but the faces are very clear. It was more than I hoped for given the original condition.

Uploading and processing was very fast. This piece is digital art and I’d read that .png was a better format than .jpg. I needed the file to be upsized to 4x. It had lost some contrast and definition and come out as .jpg. Tried again, starting with a new .jpg original, turning it to portrait orientation, and making sure to turn auto creative off. This time it was GORGEOUS, and had taken even less time!

Did the job, sharpened a slightly blurred out of focus photo very well.

I wish I could buy a bunch of credits I could use randomly without having to subscribe.

I've been using Vance AI for the past two years. There are a host of AI assisted features and I must say all features are useful for anyone, particularly for graphic designers like me. Besides that, the plans they offer are really affordable. I'd definitely suggest Vance AI.

This is a very good image-sharpening routine. I'm not sure why they call it AI, but it works. The auto setting is usually best, though at times I do use the sliders for sharpness and noise reduction. The app can also produce enlargements with no apparent loss of detail.
