I really appreciated having a phone conversation with Robert B to discuss my pension with an independent advisor. The information was very usefull and is helping me make decisions regarding drawing the pension now ...or not quite yet, which I'm still thinking about.

Professional, thoughtful and clear help

I was assisted this morning by Jade. She provided the information I need promptly, patiently, cheerfully, and clearly. Couldn't have asked for better!

I had a telephone appointment with Richard B. today to discuss my pension fund, and I couldn’t have been happier with the service I received.

Richard was extremely friendly, approachable and professional, and took the time to explain all the options available to me in a clear and straightforward way. I never felt rushed and felt completely comfortable asking questions, knowing that everything would be explained properly.

I like using Vanguard because they offer great customer service - theres always a friendly voice at the end of a clear phone line and I never have to wait too long to get through to someone. Today I spoke to Aneesa who offered superb customer service, she answered all of my questions patiently and without judgement. Much appreciated.

I had a booked telephone call with Oliver to help me put money into my drawdown account and how to take my tax free amount. Oliver was very patient with me and talked me through all the options. He then talked me through how to transfer funds. All my requests were answered and dealt with. Very pleased.

I had a telephone appointment today with Kamran to discuss my requested pension illustration before continuing to put my pension into 'Drawdown'.
Kamran explained everything clearly pointing out my option to look towards an annuity if that was a preference for me. All my questions were answered clearly, especially those surrounding emergency tax codes. Vanguard have always been an excellent company in my experience, providing a fantastic service, with realistic fees. I look forward to many more years using them for my investments and have frequently recommended them to my family and friends.

Ahmed, at the end of the phone line, displayed so much patience and helped me through a complex issue deftly and quickly. He also took me through the website to answer my questions about my account. I am so grateful.

Really easy process with Vanguard for me to withdraw tax free cash. I had the benefit of being guided through the process by Giorgio who was extremely knowledgeable and explained my choices at each step, so I could decide what was right for me. Excellent and many thanks to Giorgio!

The main benefit I have found is they have a phone number I can call and discuss my account and non-advice questions in relation to what I want to do. The process to make investments is relatively easy - it does take a little time - however if you call the support line, they will help.

Now, other companies provides slightly cheaper solutions. BUT the interface in more complex and a tad more confusing. If you are starting out, you can't go wrong with Vanguard.

When you progress or feel the need to do more complex things, you 'could' move else where.
