Ok. So the content is not for everyone and some people take it the wrong way.
But, VT is good for motivation, that little pep talk and even good guidance.
I have personally found what I have read and watched useful and some info not so.
But the best way to see it is that “if I can take away 5-10% of learning, I am improving by that %”

Vanguard delivered on everything promised. I not only learned a huge amount about the nuances of a game i thought I already knew, but came out of the course more confident and ready to get involved in the tournament scene which I had previously shied away from after some awful experiences that I now know were down to poor play and gamesmanship from other players. Vanguard's tutorials combining good sportsmanship with clever tactics and solid fair play ideologies have all lead to me feeling much happier in a passtime I had, quite honestly, become rather jaded towards other players. Huge thanks go to Steve and the team for everything, I cannot recommend this course enough for anyone wanting to get a solid level of competitive play, to become a better opponent and add a new level of enjoyment to a hobby that can be very daunting to get into. awesome work.

These guys are outstanding! I’ve wanted to get into Warhammer for a long time, but was always intimidated by the complexity of it. The courses and videos these guys make made learning Warhammer so much easier and made the process very enjoyable! I highly recommend them!

Always wanted to learn to play and with all the Age of Sigmar I decided to jump in and try it. Started the AoS course and it’s amazing!!!! Has good practice games on the stuff you are learning so it helps to practice before starting a game. Highly recommend doing it and will definitely do the 40k when I start down that road.

But the main draw of VT is that what Stephen Box has built goes so far beyond a training product, into something that truly changes lives for the better. A personable and welcoming community, that really makes like you feel you belong. In a World full of plenty of negatives, VT remains a beacon of positivity and love, and I'm incredibly proud and blessed to be part of that community.

All of the coaches, social media creators and other members really foster the ethos of VT, creating something quite magical in the process.

Easy accessible even if no mother lenguage

It can be an absolute tough sell. Telling people that you're going to teach them how to play a tabletop wargame better and with a sportsmanship attitude to it. That being said, They did it. VT not only teaches you the fundamentals of the game, it gets you to interact with the game and the community on a wider scale. The greatest thing that Vanguard Tactics has done is make me fall in love with the game and the hobby all over again. I did the 9th and 10th edition Academy and it was worth every penny. Do yourself a favor, if you're on the fence about it, trust me and do it.

Having seen a fair amount of content (youtube and instagram) from Vanguard and having recently getting into the hobby the 10th edition Accelerator seemed the perfect fit for me. All the resources and tutorials were very well made and clear, and I was very impressed by the amount of support given in a private facebook group with regular live sessions. I highly recommend this product and Vanguard Tactics overall

Vanguard tactics provides a great service for anyone who's new to 40k or other warhammer table top games.

I've only watched the youtube content either live or uploads however these have enabled me to table friends compared to before when I'd almost decided to just give up playing.

Love all the content they make from the livestream to breaking down new codex’s signed up for there Academy and got a lot of awesome content just the one small thing I didn’t care for is as someone that plays a lot of game some of the stuff they went over in the start of the academy was stuff I already knew so if kinda turned it off for me but they know what they are talking about. And on the coaching side I won a free 1-1 coaching session with Mike and he has been amazing not just in the coaching sessions but if I’ve had random questions I could message him on discord and he would still answer them even though I didn’t pay for more time with him. I’m hoping in August when I’m in England I can find time to go meet all of them. Lastly I’m proud to be part of the VT team as and academy member.

Amazing team. Friendly, helpful, do not take things too serious despite being based for competitive play and put sportsmanship above Al else. Really turned around my perspective on “competitive” players and tournaments etc.

Content of their guides and courses are very well done and in depth too, with additional more advanced options available including 1-1. I especially like that despite being competitive in nature, even their lists quite often throw in “must haves” simply because of lore/ narrative/ thematic reasons. Is refreshing to see and I think is more approachable to the every day player this way also on how to make their own lists for private games better, without simply playing the “meta” at all costs.

Top quality content and company goals.

I was an original academy student. The courses are excellent. The coaches are helpful and friendly. Steve and the guys are all excellent. Worth every penny and you will for sure see improvement to your warhammer game from their guides.

I came to these guys through there amazing YouTube content, and their website experience is great! Take there courses, and you won’t regret it!

Their lessons are fun and informative and I find myself watching them over dinner instead of Netflix, they’re that good.

But honestly Vanguard tactics has helped me improve my faction knowledge and core game knowledge and it’s showing through in my games. I find myself less and less flicking through the core rules and searching stuff up online,

My win rate has increased since I am now able to better understand my opponents army and what are their important and dangerous units, they’ve taught me how to set up conditions to win the game and helped with my decision making in games

A worth while and enjoyable academy with well thought out nd presented content. Approachable coaches makes the course worth every penny.
