Out tutor is great. The billing is confusing and they're very easy to get ahold of when you're signing up, the response is a wait when resolution is requested. I am very pleased with the lessons and... See more

Melissa is a very efficient tutor. She is friendly and makes me comfortable in learning even with my mistakes.
Jordan M. She created a safe learning space for my daughter. Jordan really works very well with students. I already see an improvement with my daughter.
My tutor is very organized, patient and conscientious. The is able to keep the session interesting, informative and educational and the time goes quick.
I really enjoyed my time today connecting with Ms. Susan. Her professional background made it easy for me to relax focus and she didn’t allow me to give up when I got frustrated. I look forward to working with her on our journey of my personal growth of learning.
Thank you 🙏🏽
First off, my daughter’s tutor Alan Wood was outstanding! VTs use if technology is impressive, including recording of sessions, AI session recap summaries, etc. however I find VTs policy of “use it or lose it” is really bad, and the rigidity of the monthly billing cycle. My month renews on the 16th, I wanted to pause for a month and had to quit. And now I need to try to restart membership while I’m out of the country on Spring Break. Tutor and technology get 5 stars+, but my overall grade for VTs policies/flexibiliy is 3 stars at best
My teacher professor Richard is really what makes this course so great!
Varsity tutor has been a complete life changer for me. It has helped me fill in gaps of missing knowledge. I am really happy with all the support and rationales I have received from this program for my test preparation. I feel more prepared with the knowledge I have gained from sessions.
She was very patient and attentive to my son's learning
My son just started varsity tutors and I havent seen him do this much school work ever! I think he was perfectly matched with 2 tutors that are a great fit for him!
We were billed for 3 months of service we didn't receive.
e arranged for a short term tutor, specifically saying the class would be over by February 8th. It was to begin Dec 15.
Throughout December their assigned tutor never showed up to the session. On Dec 29 I texted and told them that, and said we needed to be assigned someone new. Somehow, I was still billed for the month of December ($350) even though we received no services. (Speaking to them on Mar 16 they said that because I didn’t specifically SAY I should be reimbursed, they did not do it.)
They also billed us past our agreed upon end date which was Feb 8th. I was informed because I didn't call and cancel, they would continue billing me, no matter what I told them when we originally signed up.
We were billed $350 on both Feb 13 and March 13. They said I never cancelled so they can’t refund my money.

My son was skeptical about tutoring. Now he is asking me to expand the time of each session.
Rachelle was excellent. She solved my issues with music production and drum software quickly, and she was great to work with.

So grateful I found Varsity Tutors!!! My son worked with Sarah today and it was an amazing experience! She was able to determine his strengths and pinpoint his needs! After the session, she explained exactly what they would work on in the next session! She identified his struggles immediately! Sarah was amazing! I’m looking forward to future sessions so my son can succeed in reading !!! Thank you Varsity Tutors…. Highly recommend them!!!
Very user-friendly interface. We found a great tutor match for my son. Very good customer service overall.
