I have to say this site although is Finnish, tries to help you with your foreign language an it does it well. I typed my address in Greek and the parcel had a delay 15days in Athens and eventually arrived to me! The products genuine and in good price comparing the market. 5star

Package redirected 45 minutes away and charge double for customs duty
Varuste redirected my package to a UPS pick up point 45 minutes away without me asking. Spoke to UPS who confirmed Varuste directed this.
I walked to the UPS shop after getting an email confirming it had been delivered and there was no sign of the package.
Varuste emailed to say nothing to do with them so I am stuck with no product and nobody will help.
Very poor. Avoid.

Service after sale
I have already written reviews of Varuste but I have had occasion to have warranty experience with them. I bought a $200 item which proved defective. Varuste offered me the opportunity to have it repaired locally but that was impossible. They then refunded the purchase price and did not require return of item which would have been infeasible from US to Finland. Excellent service after sale.

Bought a pair of La Sportiva Gripit on…
Bought a pair of La Sportiva Gripit on Aug 11, website says 5days international shipping but ended up receiving it on Aug 22, contacted CS but replied the following: "Unfortunately we cannot provide a shipping refund as we are not in charge of the shipping."
Finally received the package, the shoes turned out to be bad quality with yellow glue and pen marks, looks like a shoe coming out of a sample room. Contacted Varuste CS again and they offered return but I need to pay for shipping. This Makes NO SENSE!
As a retailer, you are responsible to make sure the quality of the product and the delivery service you provide, instead of pushing responsibility to the shipping company and the customer.
