ill fitting blinds

Having looked at many blinds for a VW Transporter T6 online I eventually settled for blinds from Vehicleblinds.co.uk, I reckoned that their quality was better than many others I had viewed. And there was a very good choice of colours available with different options.

I wasn’t disappointed but to my dismay some of them were ill fitting when I offered them up to the OEM windows of our T6. There were gaps at the edges when they were fully stretched out.

I notified the company via whatsapp. They were quite reluctant to rectify the issue, initially stating that I had waited too long to report the problem.
I persevered with this nameless person/s. Just to note, many of my messages were ignored and phone calls via landline/Whatsap weren't answered. But eventually they agreed to replace the three offending blinds, but that I’d have to pay what I thought was an exorbitant delivery charge, (it was free on my original order) I agreed to get closure. These 3 replacments are excellent, they fitted to my satisfaction.

So, in conclusion, a nice blind but their quality control and customer service department needs working on. I can only give 3*

Absolutely incredible!

I can’t recommend Vehicle Blinds highly enough. From the very first message, their customer service was absolutely brilliant – friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful.

I needed a set of internal thermal blinds for my Ford Transit Connect, and they made the whole process simple and straightforward. Communication was quick and personal, with every detail (fit, colour, stealth effect, etc.) handled with care. They clearly take pride in what they do and go above and beyond to look after their customers.

The blinds themselves are excellent quality – a perfect fit, really well made, and ideal for keeping things cosy and private. My wife, who uses the van during her work, is absolutely delighted with them and will really appreciate the comfort through the winter months.

It’s rare to come across a company that not only provides a great product but also delivers such a thoughtful and supportive experience. Vehicle Blinds have exceeded all expectations, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality blinds for their vehicle.

Terrible attutude customer service

Terrible attutude customer service. The tail gate blind doesn't fit properly. I gave them 4 stars as the other blinds fitted ok and l could cope with the tailgate blind not fitting properly. The problems began when they asked me for feedback on on my 4 star review. I explained the back blind didn't fit properly and sent photos. They would not accept the evidence and implied l hadn't attached them correctly. They offered a refund if l sent all the blinds back but l didn't really want a refund . I would have preferred one replacement blind or failing that courteous customer care. But they have insisted on a refund or nothing . I won't use them again or recommend them. If they don't want feedback they shouldn't ask for it. I was reasonably happy until l experienced their rude customer care.

Good quality blinds

I haven't tried them out yet but they seem to be a good fit in the car and well made, with a large range of backing colours. Knocked a star off as the first set ordered were patterned and the pattern direction wasn't the same in all the blinds - some vertical, some horizontal. No problem with returning them for replacements but did so at my cost. Very quick delivery for both sets of blinds

Very happy with my blinds for a Fiat Doblo

Easy ordering system, just select your vehicle, select your choices of blind/colour etc and order.

Arrived very quickly and fit well. Seem to be good quality too.
Used them twice now with no problems.
I also like that you can order either a whole set or just select windows which helped with my budgeting.

No acknowledgement of my order or…

No acknowledgement of my order or payment. Goods were not received but my continued requests for a refund resulted in an intimidating phone call from a 'Company Director?' threatening legal action for slander if I continued.
I'm currently taking action through the Small Claims Court.

Terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service.
They refuse to engage and deal with incorrect goods supplied.
Ignoring and attempting to swerve customers requests, really is not the way to do business.
They supplied a set of blinds, but one was obviously incorrect as it is smaller than any on the windows in my vehicle, yet VBL simply ignore any request for a replacement.
I would urge anyone to avoid these people at all costs.

Went above and beyond

I ordered the wrong blinds and the seller sent the correct ones free of charge despite my stupidity! Very trustworthy and honest seller. Will definitely be using them again.

Apparently we have a rainbow mat….

Delivered blinds for a Mercedes Sprinter. Unfortunately they wouldn’t have fitted a Mercedes Ctype. They are in the hall waiting for pick up for the last two weeks.

The replacement set have been delivered by DHL …… to someone else’s house. VBL keep sending us pictures of the delivery supplied by DHL. Problems -
1. I don’t have a rainbow door mat
2. I don’t have a porch
3. I don’t live at the map pin address they have supplied
4. I was working on my van on my front drive ALL DAY when they allegedly delivered.

But apparently a photograph of someone else’s porch is proof of delivery.

Utter shambles. But I guess when you have the customers money……

UPDATE

Apparently the suggested solution is for us ( the paying customer) to wander the streets of south Redditch trying to find a rainbow doormat and then confront the occupiers as to why they have our delivery!!!! Thankfully we paid by credit card. We’ll claim fraudulent non-delivery, get our money back and let this shower fight it out with DHL and Barclaycard. AVOID!!!
