Was charged£18.45 twice for one report. Reported this to them on the24/12/25 they Did not email me back till 2 weeks later. They had the day and the registration of the vehicle but unless I could give them the exact time of the report there was nothing they could do. There own report doesn't even say the time. Good scam or what. You decide.
Paid £18 to tell me the dealer had finance on the car. Sorry but this shouldn't be included as a reason to not get a refund . Almost every high cost car from a dealer will have finance on it until someone buys it! Absolute con artists!
Entered reg and was told the brand new vehicle is “Recorded as Salvage / Insurance Category”. Paid £10.95 for the full report. It was a very vague report. Told me nothing except there had been a number plate change and outstanding finance, which i'm already aware of. I'm assuming the fake alert is to force people to pay £10.95 for a non existent report !
This is the first time I’ve used vehicle score and it will be the last . Having purchased numerous reports from others online this is by far the most dubious , I entered the reg all the red flags came up to tell me it had history ( I knew it hadn’t but thought I try vehicle score) ok it was private plate change , you had to pay extra for mileage points in its history which is important , the cost was the same as gold version for total car check who I’ve used previously and have given excellent reports .
Vehicle scores report was thin and not a great layout ,also to pay extra for mileage history is quite frankly scroogeworthy .
Buy elseware for £9.99 total car check gives a far more concise report who I’ll go Back to next time for a quick check that shows everything .
I do not recommend these at all .
For £10.99 the report is what you get for free from car check do your own research and buy elsewhere.
Immensely and hugely valuable!! I would never buy a used car without first referring to VehicleScore. Here are the details the dealers often “fail or somehow forget” to tell you and you have the option to dive deeper into the exact car you are thinking of buying - its history, faults and all of its behind the scenes issues, woes and possible problems - or none at all. It is an absolute treasure trove of relevant, important and essential information that will guide you to making a properly informed purchase - without the headaches and hassle that inevitably ensue when and if you should get it wrong. And in the murky market of used cars (which is now exceedingly expensive!!!) you are far better to be safely informed than sadly out of pocket. Having got it so badly wrong before, I trust VehicleScore to help me get it right every time I look at a used car. It is a brilliant site that will guide you right! Right.
Buyer BEWARE absolute rip off of a company read the reviews its not just myself saying it.
Getting your money back is impossible they admit they are in the wrong but offer a free check instead of refunding the money they took.
Absolutely appalling company DONT USE .
Such a maze to look through when buying a car. Such a myriad of cars - Electric, Petrol, Diesel, the choice is so far ranging, on top of all that what size big, small..? A run-around for shopping or work.. Or like me your pride and joy got written off, or stolen and wrecked. WE know what WE drive but vehicle score looks at all the aspects of your requirements and that gives a better input as to which model, make, size of vehicle is most likely to suit you.. Look at it like buying a new pair of hiking shoes, trainers, high heels or football boots.. Using a score for each type that suits you..
This site gives the buyer a really good insight into what they are considering buying and the charges are very reasonable. In fact the free version is really good. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them.
Brought the ultimate report and paid £18.45 The refund option. Came out with dealer forecourt finance. This is the way 100% of the time the dealers finance their cars, so no refund. A con job to lure you into buying the more expensive report. If you're buying, buy the £10.95 not the refund option as you will never get a refund. The report came up with no milage discrepancies. Written two emails asking how can they say that with confidence if the milage meter had not been tempered with software hacks. No answer. Bunch of cowboys, don't buy form them.
This website is great and the check's are a lot cheaper and they don't cost a lot of money a lot better than car vertical this site gives a refund if the vehicle check is clear which is great 👍👍 I haven't used any of the checks yet I will update the review when I do .

I did not have any "hidden history" but they refused to refund me even though I purchased the more expensive Premium deal.
I sent two emails requesting the refund and they just refused.
And reading the other reviews on here it seems that I am not the only one.
I will get future checks done eslewhere at a company I can trust.

Great for checking MOT history and other info you can get for free but £12 per check with the big red badge telling you there’s bad history on your car. You can get an in-depth check done for much less. Shop around you’ll get the check done for half the price these sharks are charging.

In theory this App is a great idea and contains some very useful information for those targeting the purchase of a specific vehicle. However, to me, what doesn't make sense is a vehicle's overall score. For example, when comparing my same age Kuga against my wife's CRV, my car scores head and shoulder above hers (by over 150 points) yet her vehicle is a much better vehicle altogether than mine with a far better MOT and repair history than my own.

Very beneficial service. Tells you the truth about any vehicle before you commit to buy.
Give you all the important information to make your decision on purchasing a car with confidence and peace of mind.
Misleading - it said my car has hidden report when in fact it didn’t. I had it checked out and before by a different company but this said it has something hidden so I paid again. They lure you in, scam you to pay for a report and then ignore your email. It’s a shame.
Excellent service value for the money so easy to use and can save you from any scams or headaches it's
peace of mind
A great service, on par with Car Vertical but a fraction of the price.

Paid for a report from Vehicle Score, which claims you get a full refund if it’s clear. My car only had brand new finance I’d just taken out (fully known to me) , but they still refused the refund.
Customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. Total waste of money and a misleading guarantee. Avoid!
