After constant pain with varicose veins I decided to get treatment to remove them. After some research I decided to book the Veincentre in Edinburgh.
Staff are very professional and talk you through the whole procedure and help put you at ease.
I never felt any pain during the procedure and was really surprised how quickly it was done.
Irene the nurse is lovely and is very welcoming and friendly.
Dr Dan Albeit talked me through everything that was happening as he performed the procedure and spoke away to me with Irene, which made me relax.
The aftercare was also great too, head office checked in on me after both procedures.
Would definitely recommend the Veincentre

The doctor and nurse were very nice, but if I had known that the procedure would be performed without anesthesia and that it would hurt so much, I would not have decided to do it. I have to make an appointment for a check-up, and I don't think I will because if I have to correct something again, I can't imagine having the pain like last time again.
I asked the doctor at the initial visit if I would feel anything and he said yes but it didn't hurt much, maybe it didn't hurt him but it hurt me and it hurt a lot. I hope that this procedure was worth it and everything will be fine. When I went for the procedure I was sure that there would be anesthesia for me, it was obvious but I was wrong

Today a lady from the clinic called me and said that I had local anesthesia because that's what it says! I am outraged that someone claims that I had anesthesia and I didn't, all I had was an antiseptic liquid poured on my leg and that's it, nothing more, so please don't tell me that I had anesthesia because that's what it says in my medical records.
