Unscrupulous treatment

I feel compelled to share my experience as I have serious concerns about the standard of care I received. I attended this clinic for treatment of spider veins, however the process and decisions made raise significant questions about medical negligence.

Despite evidence of an underlying issue (including an GSV incompetent vein), treatment was recommended and carried out without what I believe was appropriate consideration of the root cause. I was not adequately informed of the risks of proceeding under these circumstances.

After the first treatment failed to produce any improvement, no proper reassessment or repeat ultrasound was undertaken to determine why it was unsuccessful. Instead, I was subjected to further treatment, with multiple practitioners injecting both legs, again without reviewing previous scans or investigating the cause of failure.

This approach felt careless and not in line with acceptable medical standards. As a result, I have been left with ongoing concerns about my condition and whether it may have worsened due to inappropriate treatment decisions.

Patients place trust in medical professionals to act in their best interests, and in my experience, that trust was not upheld. I would strongly urge others to seek a second opinion before proceeding with treatment at this clinic. Since this procedure I have developed Varicose veins (as a consequences of venous insufficiency) I suffer from venous hypertension. lots of blue patches and veins now all over my legs. I will have this affliction life long without any cure. I have to wear compression stockings as the most effective prevention. I did not have any other vein problems other than spider veins.

I have raised my concern to this clinic but they failed to acknowledge my concerns just took the email and ignored it.
