Velux windows and service

The velux window is easy to use and look great. The black out blind is effective at keeping out the sun. The installation was well done with the old window being removed carefully. Although the blind side controller broken slightly after the 3 years warranty, Velux were generous enough to provide a full replacement. Now thats customer service!

After Sales Team

Had a great experience with the After Sales Team, a quick phone call and the Team swung into action. Having moved into a new house with a non operational Velux window the Team quickly identified the issue, forwarded videos and offered advice on a solution. Cannot fault the professional manner with which I was dealt with, nothing seemed to be any bother, the emails and phone calls from Alisdair, Billy and Sue were extremely helpful talking a novice through the whole chain disconnect and motor reset. Thanks again, much appreciated

Fantastic After care

I spoke to a number of customer care advisors today about an issue with blinds that I had bought in August 2025. Sadly each said they had spoken to a manager and was told me there was nothing that could be done as the 3 month deadline for exchange or return had passed.I had bought 4 blinds and unknown to me I had put the incorrect code in the order.
I tried a fourth time and spoke to Dylan, I explained that there was a genuine mistake as the codes for the window and blind were very similar. He was concerned that this was the 4th call I had made in the day. He understood the issue was sympathetic and said he would find for a solution. He told me he looked at each case individually and not as a blanket coverage.
He was able to convince his manager that this was a simple error and very similar codes on their online system could confuse the average customer.
To my relief he was able to agree for me to return the blinds and receive a full refund. I have now with his help ordered 4 new blinds to the correct sizes.
I would like to thank Dylan for going above and beyond to assist me. He is a real credit to the Velux After-sales team.

Thanks to Lucy

Thanks to Lucy, I was able to get a KIG 300 gateway connected to my window without having the original remote control. Following the app instructions is useless because it does not give you an option "CLICK HERE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL REMOTE". Then it should walk you through the basic remote set up like Lucy told me. It was a waste of her time and mine. I am grateful to her for stopping me from throwing a chair out of my window but not grateful to Velux for their poor app instructions!

Very helpful lady who guided me through resetting my Velux window.Using my landline phone to talk and my mobile to show her what was going on.

I had a technical problem

I had a technical problem - I was able to speak to a gentleman called Mike who went the extra mile forwarding information instantly - and also gave such helpful and good advice - to guide me on the Tech side.
So appreciated thank you - team velux.uk

Had an amazing and professional velux…

Had an amazing and professional velux window installation recently. Every part of the process was seamless from survey and quotation to installation. The price was so reasonable and the guys who installed it did a really good job. Woujd highly recommend to anyone

Surprisingly Amazing

Surprisingly Amazing.
Called up, despite being informed of high call demand was through to person in under 5 mins. Lois was able to identify my window with ease, walked me through the process, and did a little trouble shooting.
Window sorted in less than 10mins. Customer service as it should be.
