We love eating as a family at our new table! We hoped to have it for Christmas and they made it happen. And after a mishap that resulted in damage to the table - they stood behind it and repaired it for us. They even came to get it and brought it back. A great company to work with. Great craftsmanship - and I was able to meet the craftsmen. A joy to work with them.

I ordered a reclaimed chestnut dining table and it's amazing. Better than expected. I had to contact customer service a few times (once for better pictures of the reclaimed chestnut, which they promptly emailed). Chris was knowledgeable and thorough. The delivery was on time, and the delivery guys were incredibly nice. Highly recommend Vermont farm tables!

Our table (square legs, all wood) was delivered this morning. It's corny, but I literally gasped when they took the cover off. The table is beautiful. I actually can't stop just staring at it.

We selected a table top made from maple (A. saccharum) , but one that had been tapped for syrup, producing, honestly, the most unique striping effect I've ever seen in wood (the holes are filled with a dark epoxy that in the right light show just a little bit of the wood inside of the tap hole).

The quality of construction is fantastic -- this a solid piece of furniture. We went with the standard thickness tabletop (I had been wondering if I wanted something thicker), and our current configuration is perfect. I'm a former forest ecology researcher, so buying a hardwood table locally (both in material and in construction) was super important to me, and it was really good to find a company that could do that with such clean, beautiful design and great workmanship. This will not be my last piece of furniture from Vermont Farm Table.

Also, the ordering and delivery process was easy-breezy.

I was searching the internet for a dining room table and chairs when I came across the Vermont Farm Table web site. I sent them an email with a question and to my surprise I received a response from Chris Cross, Design Consultant, within the hour.
Over the next couple of weeks Chris worked with me on making my wishes become a reality with a custom made 11' table and 12 chairs made of dark walnut. Throughout the process Chris was always fast to respond to my emails and answered every question that I had.
I love my new dining room table and chairs and could not be more pleased with Chris, Vermont Farm Table, or the workmanship of their product.

My husband and I had just moved to a new house in rural New Hampshire and were preparing to host twelve members of our family for Thanksgiving. We needed a table in a hurry, and one that would begin the process of making our New England home. Vermont Farm Table rushed the production of our table, producing it in under two weeks. And with no compromise in execution. It is beautiful! The Cherry wood is so rich, the design so neat and modern, and the construction of the highest quality. It transformed our sparsely decorated house into a warm, inviting home. We had a lovely Thanksgiving, and I can't help but feel that the table had much to do with the positive spirit that suffused the holiday! Beautiful craft, great service! We love this table!

My experience buying the table was not good.

I visited the Burlington store several times to get samples and talk about the options. I had problems getting samples, getting responses about samples and getting my question answered. I decided to order on line and was told in the store that I would get my order by Thanksgiving. I heard nothing and visited the store before the holiday. I was told my oder was in the que and would likely come after the holiday. I again visited the store to ask about where my table was in the process. I was told that I would be contacted to confirm the details of my order and then my order would be processed; I finally emailed the company and then learned that I would get my table the day before Thanksgiving. That was great. The table was delivered but then I realized I had no idea about how to treat the table...Aayway....I would auggest a better ordering process and communication system. I love the idea of this company and love my table............................JoAn

Beautiful product, even better than I could have imagined! I purchased just the top, and successfully secured it to a metal pedestal based purchased separately. It's gorgeous and fits perfectly in the breakfast nook banquette. I was super pleased they could expedite service! And when the top didn't fit in my car, they offered to deliver it! So happy to do business with a local, Vermont company. Thank you, Vermont Farm Table!

We purchased a live edge walnut table and absolutely love it! The grain in the wood is absolutely stunning and the table has become a conversation piece in our home. Even our two little boys love the table!

The service was superior as was the delivery. We love that we could support a family owned business that lives by the values that we share.
