If there was a zero star rating I would…
If there was a zero star rating I would do that. This company is absolutely horrible. 3 additional charges for 1 item were posted to my credit card all with different company names. It was a nightmare to remove them and customer service was unprofessional, extremely rude and flat out horrendous.
Unauthorized Charges to Credit Card
I ordered some bird-window deterrents from Verniershop.com in September 2025. On the check-out page, a "protection plan" box for $9.95 was checked and despite attempts to uncheck it, the charge was included with my order. I called their customer service immediately after processing the order, explaining I didn't want a protection plan (absurd to think a company would suggest you NEED a protection plan) and that charge was reversed the following day.
However, the following month, I was charged by this same company $39.99 which they later claim was a rewards program I had signed up for (associated, I assume, with the initial $9.95 charge they had previously reversed) -- and that the $39.99 was a MONTHLY charge for that program. I never signed up for this program nor would I need it given a one-time order of merchandise that was, turns out, substandard and not worth the price I paid for it. But at this point, I feel fortunate that I even received it.
I called and emailed their billing service (tunohealth.com) and Vernier directly many times. Vernier's customer service reps claimed they reversed the $39.99 charge when they did not. I finally filed a dispute with my credit card company and handed the matter over to it to handle.
Coincidentally (?) days after that October charge was placed on my credit card, there were two other unauthorized charges to my credit card which my credit card company caught and declined immediately. The credit card had to be cancelled to protect from further fraudulent charges.
I can't prove those charges were associated with Vernier or its affiliates (Tunohealth.co) or employees of same, but it seems coincidental that these charges occurred after Vernier had used my credit card for unauthorized charges.
I will NEVER use this company again.

As soon as I placed my order 3 other companies tried to hack my account trying to place charges on my credit card. Good thing my credit card co declined charges instantly. I called Vernier and they told me it was not their problem. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS CO.
Use this app before purchasing from an unknown site
Omg. I’m smarter than this!!! Too late for me. How does google continue to allow these scammers to exist? Extended warranty fraudsters.
Product cheap knock off and bad customer service
Like most reviews, when I purchased a pet ear thermometer, the $9.95 warranty fee came out with the purchase total even though I declined. My bank was calling reporting fraud. I did call the company and they told me that the funds were being returned, and they were, but it felt like I was being chastised for calling to inconvenience them. Then the product I ordered showed up, and while it works, it does not work well. The ear thermometer feels like a rip off of an actual product and is not well made. Would not recommend buying from this company.
Update: Almost a month since I originally bought the product I got a random charge for $40 from this company. Cue the calls from the bank again for fraud. I called the company and they said they will refund the charge and that it was an error, but the company clearly has my card info in the system and that card can apparently be charged whenever without my consent.
This Bluetooth Beanie is such a clever…
This Bluetooth Beanie is such a clever idea. It fits snugly and comfortably on my head, and I can use it for both warmth and music. The battery life lasts a long time, and I never have to worry about it dying in the middle of a song. It's definitely a game changer for winter activities.
I order “ supposedly” 5 pair of winter…
I order “ supposedly” 5 pair of winter socks from them. They’re “ supposed” to be a made in America company, as I was checking out for the low price of $8.99, there was an option for a warranty with no way to click no.
I click to pay for the socks and was charged for 3 different items, the socks, something else for $8.99 and the warranty for $9.95.
I immediately called my credit card company at 1:00a.m reported it, they immediately cancelled my credit card, said one of the charges was immediately denied for suspicion as fraud.
I then sent an email to the email address and told them I didn’t order the warranty and to cancel it and give me back my money, the next day they sent me an email saying they would cancel and issue a refund which they did.
I then called the number listed and eventually talked with someone explaining I didn’t get an invoice or order number for the socks, they claimed they would send it in a day or two. I’ve never heard of not getting an invoice or order number when you order something right then.
I filed a report with BBB, called my credit card company again because the $8.99 charge for the socks was still there, they are investigating, then after 3 days I received an email saying my socks were being shipped.
We’ll see if that happens.
Buyer beware - extended warranty gets added and then charged monthly
I ordered some shirts from this place. When at the checkout part they asked if I wanted a warranty. I Declined. It charged me anyway and after reading reviews (which I should have done in the first place) I saw that they are charging $39 a month for said warranty as a subscription. Called the business place told them I did not want the warranty. They said they were going to cancel it, so we will see. I canceled my credit card in the meantime and got a new one, so either way it should be resolved but Buyer Beware when ordering from here!
Liars, scamming scum bag company
I wish I could have given this company a zero. They don't even deserve zero. I ordered from them. They charged my credit card twice. I called them back and they refunded one. I ordered a pair of shoes for my husband which the shoes review have Only five stars. come to find out this shoes is a piece of s*** I order size 11. The shoes is like a size 5. Supposed to be leather orthopedic shoes, it's only stinky rubber with raincoat like body. This shoes would even hurt the damn dog foot! you placed an order they're quick to send you a shipping email and the product still in their wherever they're sending it from in China to their distribution location in NC .It take weeks to get to you wherein it says you would receive your order in 3 days. I ordered in September 24th I received the order the October 11th. I called the customer service. I spoke with a rude, very rude customer service human, who told me that I have to pay for the return myself. I told him no I'm not paying for the return myself because they send me a piece of s*** totally different from what they advertised and I want my money back. I will be calling my bank. Stay away from these. Scamming scumbags don't waste your time. products. What they have are not quality products. I believe they are doing their own reviews on items that have five stars because no way what they sent me is even one star .stay away from this company or whatever they are. When my order came it came with a different label over the original label. The original label it came from China to North Carolina. They're so dishonest. Be careful because they charge your credit card for some kind of subscription you know nothing about for $39.99! to get rid of them Your bank have to close out that card and send you another card. They inconvenience you. These people are so dishonest. They are scammers
I ordered a 2Tb flash drive for $24.99
I ordered a 2Tb flash drive for $24.99. At checkout I was suddenly charged another $9.99 for a shipping warranty. I received a 1Tb flash drive. That's still a good price so I wasn't real upset but now they are trying to charge me another $39.99 and I have no idea what this is for. I'm reporting them to the FBI.
Complete Scam
They say they put in the mail but they gave a fake shipping tracking number and charge your credit card for a protection plan that was never ordered. Scam company
Winter Coat Shopping - for a snow job!
Tried to order a nice winter coat priced at $45. When I tried to complete the order form, the $9.95 protection plan popped up. When I declined it, a red "Do Not Honor" sign covered the order button. So it appeared my order was canceled. 10 minutes later, I got an email thanking me for ordering. It went on to describe their Reward Club that would begin in 19 days, costing $39.99 per month, it sounded like if I weren't a member, the coat would cost $129. Checking my card, I discovered my $45 charge was pending at Viramaxpower.com in Pennsylvania & the declined insurance was listed to a Health Insurance group in Utah! I contacted my bank and had my card shut down. There was nothing on the form I filled out about this Reward Club at all. I filled out their form to cancel the sale immediately. Was treated very courteously by a representative, Gino, who promised to rescind my charge. Guess I was fortunate for being quick to shut down! My bank, Choice One , handled it pleasantly. Real learning experience!

I'd give zero stars if that was an option. As the other reviews state, this is a scam site that sends you a different product than you've asked for, you pay for the return shipping yourself if you decide to return, they don't follow though with the refund. Then the company makes random charges on your card over time. The only way to avoid those charges is to have your bank block them. Also, most reviews on the site are fake.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING
Definitely do not buy anything from this company. They charged me for an additional $7.95 for shipping protection even though I opted out. I called and had to get that credited back. Then about 3 weeks later I noticed a couple additional charges, one for $34.95 and another for 39.99. The numbers were in the charge heading on my transaction details so I called each one. The reps and I were able to trace it back to this company and these unknown, subscriptions I had supposedly signed up for when buying a product from this Vernier Shop site. So I went to my order confirmation email and at the very bottom, it says you’ll be signed up for this crap. I was able to get my money refunded directly from the subscription sites. I also canceled my credit card and have a new one on the way. DO NOT SUPPORT THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY
WHAT A SCAM!!
WHAT A SCAM!!! This 'store' if full of misinformation!
They showed me a location of Raleigh NC so I expected quick delivery- I live in NC- ...HA! They are really located in Calif. - according to the company phone number-530-687-4730. And yes, the $9.95 "Protection Plan" is a total scam but calling and complaining got it refunded immediately...SHOCK!! The order tracking website is most likely a false rabbit hole as well. Showed my order coming out of NY somewhere and on the way to my "zip code"...for well over a week!! Was told my order will arrive by Friday, we'll see. If not it's back to my credit card to file a formal dispute.
Buyer beware! Too good to be "true"!!
Sketchy
This company is sketchy and their products are crap. Plus, they enroll you in a "rewards" program that charges your credit card $39.99/month after your purchase. They run their credit card billing through another company. I will not be ordering from them again and will urge others not to either!
No delivery
I ordered my product on September 9th and have yet to receive it. Communication is absolutely ridiculous. I call every other day. They claim they tried to deliver it but they did not. And out no one gets back to me. I've been hung up on the phone several times. Do not trust this company
