Alex made feel welcome from the start
Alex made feel welcome from the start. He gave me a good deal on my p/x and the deal was done. On pick up day the bike was ready to go. Alex then talked me through all the tech on the bike and was very knowledgeable.

Seamless throughout
The whole experience of buying my BMW R1250RS from Motorrad Exeter can only be described as “seamless”. Tom (my sales guy) looked after me and was professional, attentive, courteous and genuine throughout… nothing seemed too much trouble or forced… I felt extremely valued, important and well looked after from start to finish. I would definitely recommend buying a new or used bike from Tom and the team at the Exeter dealership and I hope to return.

From start to finish Lewis was excellent working professionally and friendly to get me to a deal I was happy with. My bike was delivered as promised and in exactly the condition it was described as. I will definitely use these guys again.

BMW S1000R Vertu Exeter.
I have just taken delivery of my BMW S1000R from Vertu motorcycles in Exeter, after seeing it on the internet and leaving an enquiry I was contacted by Kerry who looked after everything from start to finish. From sorting me a good part ex valuation on my bike to arranging delivery up to Staffordshire it couldn’t have been easier or more pleasant, roll on dry weather now so I can get out on it.

Purchased an f800 GS, from Tom. Great experience all went very smoothly. Communication was very good kept informed all the way through. My handover was done by Lewis as Tom was off. Lewis was very good and made sure I was happy with everything.

I wanted to share my excellent experience with Alex at Vertu BMW Exeter. He’s a genuinely great guy who delivers outstanding service and makes the whole process effortless.
My enquiry began on Monday with a request for a part-exchange valuation on my current BMW. Alex quickly provided two or three clear sets of figures, giving me options to consider. By Monday evening, I’d chosen the deal that suited me best, and we moved forward without any hassle. All documents were signed electronically, making the process quick and straightforward.
By Wednesday, I was collecting my new bike — (F900R, 2025) finance cleared, PX paid out, and everything handled seamlessly. The speed and simplicity of the process really impressed me. It all felt trouble-free and stress-free throughout.
Top-class service from start to finish — nothing was ever too much trouble.

INCOMPETENT service dept.
AVOID the service dept. they managed to cross thread the screws on my engine casing and thought not to mention it, Ocean Plymouth found the damage at my next service and Vertu decided to avoid responsibility?? Have heard a lot of people having issues with this company, the sales dept are not much better, not a great experience at all.

Faultless Service
From start to finish, Alex and the team at Vertu BMW Exeter were absolutely top-notch. Ive just purchased a used Yamaha MT07 from them, and not only was the process smooth, but every detail was handled with care.
They went out of their way to get a restrictor fitted for me in time for pickup at very short less than 24 hours before handover, something most dealers would turn away. Communication was spot-on, nothing was too much trouble, and Alex took the time to walk me through everything clearly. I’d never bought from a main dealer before, but they made it easy, transparent, and genuinely enjoyable.
I would have no hesitation in coming back and 100% would recommend them to anyone.
