This review is for Nissan Glasow South, NOT Ford Service.I have asked Trust pilot to assign it to the correct location.

Our car has been with Vertu motors Nissan Glasgow south for a warranty repair, since the 4th November 2025 after an initial diagnosis of the fault on the 4th September 2025. Despite repeated requests, getting information from them as to when the car will be fixed is like trying to get a straight answer from a politician. The information they occasionally provide is contradicting and is mostly made up of vague excuses. We received an email on 10th December stating there would be a meeting between the Workshop manager and the service manager on Monday 13th December to resolve the situation, it is now Thursday 17th and still no update.

Ford dealership Kennishead road Glasgow Car went in for an Mot last year and was told I needed new wipers but did still pass the test. I said I would do this myself but as I had no issues never did.
This year I was told I was needing 2 new brake pads and discs and was quoted over £500 for this but it still passed Mot, no other issues ( windscreen wipers must have healed!) Took it to local garage who inspected and replaced brake pads but found no issues with discs. Now cancelled service plan. Do not trust this garage.

Staff were knowledgeable and advised us well on the best option that suited us. No pressure to buy, time given to consider options and they listened to our wishes.

Changing my car was easy.
Salesman helped me with choosing the right car for me, also helped with paperwork. Very much appreciated. No hesitation in recommending this Garage.

Dealt with Sophie throughout. She was friendly and informative regarding the process. She kept in contact via email and phone. Driving off in my new car was a pleasure and the experience was faultless. Highly recommend.

Bought a x trail from this company last September 2024. Since then we had numerous problems and the customer service from the company has been very poor. The first problem was the boot would not open. They checked it and said that the mat must have caught on the mat. However it happened again a few weeks later they said the same thing but by then I had removed the mat. The ran a diagnostic check on the car and could find no fault. The boot just seemed to fix its self. It has happened a few more times but seems to correct its self the company are not interested in this problem. The most recent problem is with the battery. Four weeks ago the car would not start we required Nissan connect to come to the house (now operated by the RAC) we were told the battery was flat they used to be able to change the battery but Nisssn have put a stop to this and we were required to take the car to Vertu. We were told that they could not look at the car for 4 days and that no curtsy car were available. We left the car with them. We were told they had to charge the battery in order to run the diagnostics. Apparently they did not find anything. They had the car for ten days and said they would not change the battery as there was nothing wrong with it. Four weeks later the same thing has happened again. We are awaiting the RAC to come and check the car.

Bought last car from Macklin Motors - now Vertu. Got my last car delivered from England and paid delivery fee. Enquired about 2 cars both which were down in England and told “not financially viable as they would not make money on either deal.” Spoke to 2 different salesmen who were very dismissive so went elsewhere and got a car which was brought up from England . No problem whatsoever. I’m giving them a 1 because I can’t give them zero. No doubt this review will be met with their standard reply. Would not use them again.

Well on a recent visit to Vertu Ford Glasgow i was booked in to meet Thomas and when i arrived it was switched to another guy to help with the trade in and sale of a VW UP nice car priced at around 12 k after viewing the car the young guy was asked a few simple questions about the car and his reply was i am not a mechanic only a sales guy so why did he drive my van around the forecourt ? My van a Vivaro 2013 with 76k on the clock just passed a Fresh MOT and clean as a whistle inside and out i was astonished to have been offered £1500 lowest offer than Motorway £2800 we buy any van £3100 i am well aware when you go to these places they start chipping away at the price fair enough but to the tune to £1500 i don't think so
So in a nutshell let me warn others and think before your ripped to shreds with this LOT not only do they want to sell THEIR cars with no wiggle room they also want to make on YOUR trade in
Now after selling my van on Gumtree ( cost £28 ) i now have 4k
in MY ACCOUNT am i heading over to Vertu with my 4k ? and a further £8 k to buy the VW UP NO CHANCE so the super head of sales in there who sits in the back office drumming up the lowest of lowball offers you can imagine well done to that man i am sure your making the company a fortune off unsuspecting members of the public who at the end of the day only want a fair deal HEADS UP
