I purchased a Mercedes-Benz CLA in October 2025 from Vertu kia/Honda Bradford and have regretted it ever since. From day one there were faults, a strange noise and brake concerns. I reported everything immediately but was ignored for over a week.
My prescription glasses and personal items left in my part-exchange were lost because staff failed to act on my concerns in time. The vehicle was sent to auction before anyone followed up.
Over the next three months I made seven visits to service centres (Derby 6 times and Bradford once) paid £156 for a wheel alignment that turned out to be incorrect which was confirmed by Vertu Honda Derby, and still have outstanding faults including a track rod end and intermittent ambient lighting which Mercedes Benz say requires an authorised repairer to diagnose.
When I escalated to the General Manager, I was met with dismissive assumption filled responses. I have since been told the matter is “closed” when raised with customer relations with no investigation carried out. despite unresolved faults and zero compensation for my financial loss, time, and distress.
Vertu Honda Derby were professional and helpful this review is solely about Bradford. Avoid this branch if you value honesty, accountability, transparency, trustworthy and basic customer care.
I will not recommend Vertu kia/Honda Bradford if you want peace of mind. I have been told to message them after the review which i did twice and it was ignored. Cant imagine a big company like vertu being dodgy and acting like a cowboy company. I would advise to avoid this particular branch as the derby branch was exceptional. if you dont want to get high bp and sleepless nights

We bought a Kia from Tom at Vertu Kia in August 2025 and the service was excellent from start to finish. Tom gave us as much time as we needed to discuss our options and made the whole process relaxed and pressure-free.
When we collected the car, he took the time to go through all the features in detail, which was really appreciated.
It was such a great experience all round that we returned in January to see Tom again and ended up buying a second car. My wife is absolutely delighted with it.
We would definitely recommend a visit to Vertu Kia and to Tom in particular. He is clearly passionate about his work and has an excellent knowledge of the cars and their technology.

I did most of my business with Raees Khan, this was from initial enquiry through to the completion of a sale. His help was invaluable and was a really nice gentleman to deal with. This was a 5* service.
Raeels manager, Chris Curley got involved over a small issue, which made me feel uncomfortable and not trustworthy! I also chatted with the body repairer and a member of the garage staff, they too were excellent helping me. The car itself is excellent.

I rarely leave reviews unless I have something nice to say, but my last three visits to Vertu Bradford have involved disappointment. As it happens, I pay main dealer prices to avoid disappointment.
Upon collecting my car from its annual service last July, I found a dirty shoe mark on the door sill. When I washed it off, there were scuffs in the paint and on the stainless steel plate. The paint scuffs came out with T-Cut; the steel scuffs did not. I informed Vertu at the time, but let the issue lie.
Following a diagnostic visit a couple of months ago, I noticed a dent in the sill cover and decided to watch the dashcam footage to see if this had occurred whilst in Vertu’s workshop. Whilst watching the footage, I saw nothing to suggest the damage had occurred in Vertu’s workshop. However, what I did see was a whole load more nothing: Vertu had charged me £180 to plug in an OBD scanner and invoice me with a fault code. This is a five-minute job I could have done myself, at home, for free. The car then sat there for hours until I received the call to collect it. When I contacted the service manager and referenced the dashcam footage, he apologised and issued a £150 refund. Had I never made contact, I suspect I would never have seen that £150 again. Though I would not suggest fraudulence, I would absolutely suggest incompetence.
After a repair visit today, I collected my car to discover a dirty shoe mark on the door sill—again. It has also left a scuff mark in the paint—again. I was irked, having previously asked the service advisor to ensure this doesn’t happen again. I asked the service advisor to come outside and inspect the scuff herself. She apologised, but it isn’t her fault: It’s the fault of a technician who is apparently incapable of briefly lifting their feet to exit a car. I was left questioning whether or not anybody really had asked the technicians to stop kicking customers’ door sills.
Having said all of this, the staff I’ve dealt with (Lisa and Steve) seem very pleasant. There’s also free coffee. Indeed, if this were a backstreet garage charging half the price, I’d probably leave 2-3 stars. However, it isn’t a backstreet garage—and I’d really appreciate being able to collect my car without having to inspect it every time.
On the bright side, with the amount of T-Cut I’m using, there will probably be no car left by the time I’m scheduled to visit Vertu Honda again. That’ll save me a few hundred quid.

The most crappiest low level service I received today. Was advised complimentary wash and vac, so delivery didn’t have it valet this week, after the work was done, no footage was sent, not offered no drink whilst waiting as other dealerships do, and when I collected the car the car was washed with plain water dried up on windows leaving blob stains everywhere, and not vacuumed, I complained to the service team one guy says it’s only a wash, the other says wash and vac and after I showed him instead of offering to get the job done he said we will take it on as feedback, laid back sluggish attitude from vertu service advisors, in fact all the staff had that lazy approach, these lot dnt match VW or Audi even by a mark, so disappointed first time thought ill purchase service plan and have my future work done by them, but I’m cancelling it now, absolutely ruined my day, their attitude and service was -10 DONT trust when they say they will reply or email you back too, as I’m still waiting for the quote promised. Vertu dealership owners should look at their advisors and get their customer service skills up to to w right level. The price we pay for services and this is the sort of level we get it’s not worth it. My previous experience on the phone when I was enquiring about purchasing a car was just as appalling and today confirmed how bad they are. I’m a very satisfied customer usually hate to complain but today forced me to leave this review,
