Very straight forward sales man. Easy to deal with called sheeraz. Friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we returned to pay and pre handover on his day off. Sales manager put multiple blocks in our way refused our insurance proof as it wasn't a PDF .format. Although our bank transfer was in their account direct form our bank said he needs photography ID ??. Thank you Sheeraz. Credit to Vertu. Unfortunately your sales manager. How the he'll does he expect elderly people to dance to his rules. Would have been a 1* if not for Shirazz and his trainee who stepped to try and help us. BTW the sales manager never even left his chair to speak to us direct, just sent the poor trainee to keep deliver his stupid blocking, annoying rules. We paid cash, refused finance, maybe that's why ?? Just saying

Appalling experience buying a car from Vertu Motors and subsequent car recall.
I bought my car from Honda Bradford and after 3 days received a call to tell me that there had been an admin error and I was to return the car to the dealership and collect the car which was mine.
The car which was mine had scratches in a couple of places which the sales executive decided to apply T-Cut to remove.
Overall a really poor buying experience.
I then returned the car as part of a Honda recall programme and received a complimentary wash which left my paint with big swirls caused by poor washing technique. Completely ruined the clear layer applied on top of the colour.
The general manager called a couple of times but no goodwill gesture.
I would avoid Vertu at all costs.

Contacted Vertu Honda, to dscuss securing a car for my mother. Wanted some information prior as the garage was along way away. After speaking to HO, left a small deposit for a car (which I was guaranteed would be fully refunded should I change my mind).
Spoke to Vertu Honda, Bradford who provided conflicting, incomplete and inaccurate information whilst incorrectly advertising incentives. Due to the lack of confidence in this garage we dediced we no longer wanted to proceed. if their service is so poor whilst trying to sell a car, I wouldnt want to be trying to get their support once purchased!! Cancelled the hold on the car due to conflicting information and a lack of knowledge and professionalism and put this in writing (Emailed the Bradford Sales Manager Joe Finnerty
New and Used Sales Manager and also the Sales Advisor I dealt with Haider Ali). 3 days later I am still waiting for a response / call back and my refunded deposit.
Update: Company responded basicially saying i was lying, i have requested a DSAR under GDPR (2018) which proves they are still lying. i will update

Awful, horrible place, had my car in for a health check and claimed it had a faulty injection system. I've received a replacement car and promise to receive a call once the check-in finishes. Of course, no response that day. When I was checking when I'm able to pick up my car I've received rude relly that my vurtecar MUST be returned to 4pm as the insurance won't be valid after tgat time. That was never EVER mentioned during car swapping. Quickly popping to the car and refuelling the car as per the agreement. Once I've arrived my car was alm of sudden ready for collection. And then she started crom reception ... I was humilated at the front of the rest clients that amount of the fuek isn't sufficient. She was rude and aggressive aga8not only clients, but also members of 4x staff members claiming that the amount isn't sufficient. I was verbally forced to showthe eviof the fuel purchases.
Believe or not I've popped to my car and showed the receip. Still arrogant smile and that rude attitude claiming that this is evidence as the deaktop showing not fulk tank. I've explained that i was speeding to reach the time deadline for insurance and that was effects the record on the display. I've also, calculated the courtesy car fuel consumption to proof the sufficient amount fuel purchase. Ive been looked as idiot without any knowledge. Ive been thrown he rest of documents by the wonan fron service team and left comments about my evidence.
I was spoke to me like a child. I tried to complain I never received a sufficient response, left so many voice mails. I hope I’ve never dealt with such a childish and unprofessional company ever in my life!
I've finally popped in to the dealer to talk to the manager of the service and put formal complaint. I've bern listened and proposed.... petrol as compensation. I don't need that and refused. Rsther to receive apologies from the woman whose i was served. I've received reply that won't hapoen as the manager is unable to force the member of staff for it ...
I wilk NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THIS PEOPLE, ESPECIALLY CUSTOMER SERVICE STAFF

Pre sales experience not even worth mentioning. Would not give a price over the phone.
3 month wait for warranty work on a brand new vehicle.

Reply from Vertu Motors - Honda Bradford
My 6 month old Kia had broken down on the 19th December and nearly 2 months on I am still without the car with no idea of when i will get it back.
I have requested help and support from the dealership but was told to call Kia customer service who did an internal review and i'm still waiting for a response.
I have requested a full refund and compensation for,
1 - Purchasing a car that was told could have potentially set on fire when it was recovered.
2 - Paying for a car i don't have.
3 - Being passed around from company to company and department to department and still continuously chasing.
4 - With having a young family the worry of, will the car have another major issue when returned.
5 - No help or support in getting the vehicle sent to the dealership for repairs.
6 - The undue stress and inconvenience that this has caused.
I was told by the sales manager that i only have 30 days from the purchase to return the vehicle.
The customer service and communication has been poor and the dealership has been dismissive. I bought a new car with a 7 year warranty to prevent issues arising but the process has been a disaster.

I purchased a hybrid kia sportage, as needed a reliable car, and 7 year warranty, service was excellent during the purchase.
Then the Engine Management light came on after 6 months. I phoned them to get this seen to as was going away week later in this car for Christmas.
Earliest they would see me was late January, I explain my situation of going away for Christmas etc.
They said phone Kia Assist which I did,
Kia Assist said they could do nothing and to Phone Kia Bradford back which I did they then had don't care attitude, saying just try somewhere else, we busy. I expect better after spending a lot of money and fault coming up within 6 months.
Phoned Kia Leeds same response, will be January at earliest, Tried Kia Keithley same.
Great having 7 year warranty if you can not get your car seen for a month.
Avoid Kia, after service is terrible once they got your money

Total disaster, avoid vertu at all costs. I left my vehicle for an MOT on the 17th of October and failed as one of the door handles is broken. Was told that the car would be ready for pick up the next day. The following day I was called and told that the part would not be ready until the 10th of November and that unfortunately I had to return the courtesy vehicle as they had none available. The following day I was called again by Mohammed, who told me that the part now was not going to be available until the 24th of January next year, I was then advised by them to contact Honda UK to arrange a courtesy car as they still had none available and they will for sure help me with that. After contacting Honda UK they informed me that due to the car being more that 5 years old they would not provide me with a courtesy car and that the part required to fix my car would be available on the 10th of November. I called Vertu again and forwarded the email and confirmed that yes the part was now showing availability for the 10th of November again. I asked if they ordered the part and why the dates changed on the system after ordering but the manager of the parts department Charlotte, could not give an answer and put the phone down on me. I was then called by Mohammed offering a second hand part, was told that no guarantee was offered but the price will be cheaper, I asked for a price and pick up date to which he mentioned he will find out so I could make an informed decision. After waiting for two days with no calls from Vertu, I decided to contact them again today. After calling them midday I waited all day and had to call again as nobody returned my call. Now they said that the part will be available on the 24th of November and the second hand part they suggested will be more that the official part from Honda. Zero stars, zero customer service. It's a shame I cannot select zero stars. Please avoid at all cost and save yourself some sanity. They lie, they make broken promises and they fail an all aspects. Total disaster and still ongoing nightmare. No courtesy car, no options and no care for customers.

I took my Kia to Vertu Kia Bradford an annual service and MOT and based on that I write this review. However, before getting into the review, I want to add some additional context.
On the day before my scheduled service and MOT with Vertu, I decided to visit my reliable, certified and independent garage to get x4 new tyres fitted. During the tyre fitting, the garage informed me that the front 2 brake pads and brake discs needed to be replaced, along with the back brake pads. The front brake pads were suspected to be about 90% worn and had approximately 2mm left, which was still above the MOT fail limit of 1.5mm. However, the rear brake pads were not urgent, and the discs were not in a failing state. Taking all of this into consideration, my car would not fail the MOT, and I could take it back to my local garage after the MOT with Kia, to get the required work done.
Kia conducted a health check on my car and sent me a video after the work was done. In the video, the technician mentioned that the front brakes were 90% worn out and would need replacement soon before reaching the MOT limit. This information was consistent with what my local garage had informed me previously.
Next, came the service and then the MOT.
While we were busy with our tasks, Vertu Kia called us multiple times to sell brakes and discs to us. They provided us with different prices, but we informed them that we preferred our local garage for any work on our car. However, the receptionist (Jas) continued to push us by questioning our decision and asking if we could find the prices and the authenticity of the parts from our local garage before refusing their offer. Even though we refused the three different prices offered by Vertu Kia, it was clear to us that the company was overcharging their customers and still making a considerable profit margin on the lowest price they provided.
After declining the work, I received a call shortly after informing me that the MOT test had failed because the front brakes were measured at 1.5mm or less. The caller asked if I wanted them to fix it again, but I refused and pointed out that the brakes were not below the limit. I asked for an explanation for why the car had failed, but the answer was unclear. I then contacted my local garage and informed them of the situation. A member of the garage called Vertu Kia to inquire about the issue, but they were met with resistance, and the receptionist refused to discuss anything about the car.
After my car failed its MOT, my local garage suggested that I should get an MOT appeals form to challenge the outcome. However, after reviewing the process, I realized that it could take more than five days for the appeal to be processed, during which no work could be done on the car. Since we needed the car, I decided not to appeal and instead booked it for a free MOT retest with Vertu Kia the next day.
On that same day, I went to Vertu Kia to collect my car and then drove it to my local garage to have the brakes and discs replaced. However, during the repair work, it was discovered that two of the wheel nuts on the front passenger tire were not tight enough. Furthermore, upon closer inspection, it was found that the brake pads that failed the car's MOT at Vertu Kia were actually 3mm thick and not the required 1.5mm or less thickness. I have taken photographs as evidence and have decided not to take my car to Vertu Kia Bradford for MOTs in the future.
During the MOT retest of my car, I specifically requested the receptionist to ask the technicians to ensure that all tyres are tightened in case they take the tyres off. I received a call from Vertu Kia, approximately 10 minutes later, informing me that they did not take my tyres off and therefore, were not responsible for the loose wheel nuts. Although I disagreed with the statement, the conversation was kept brief. This incident raised some concerns in my mind; How could they fail a car on an MOT without properly inspecting the brake pads as part of the service or MOT and would they not have picked up on two loose car tyre nuts?
Based on the unprofessional service received and less-than-great sales tactics employed by Vertu, I have decided to write this honest review. If you are considering taking your car for an MOT here, I would advise you to be cautious, particularly if you know that your car needs some work but you don't want them to do it.

Excellent customer service from Sidra at Vertu Honda. Was really patient and she ensured the car met my needs. Even though the car was transported from another garage within the group, there was some things the Bradford branch weren't happy with once it arrived and have arranged to have them sorted. Can't fault the level care and advice given.

READ FULLY BEFORE YOU BUY OR GET A SERVICE FROM KIA/HONDA VERTU BRADFORD:
🚨 Two Catastrophic Major faliures leading to ONE CONVICTION and ONE POTENTIAL DRIVING OFFENCE, by Customer services and Servicing team at Kia/Honda Vertu Bradford.
PREVIOUSLY FROM CHRIS,
TODAY FROM JASPAL KAUR.
1) I have previously received a Bus lane ticket on my car whilst my car has been in for a service with "Chris", which "Phil" and the admin team had to sort out.
This is the reality of Kia/Honda Vertu Bradford.
I WILL BE COMPLETELY HONEST.
2) Today(16/08/2023) at around 09:15 I dropped my car off for an annual service to Jaspal Kaur at Vertu Bradford and got a "lesser" replacement car, according to the policy guidelines; this i had no issue with but the next part is very worrying;
I received a call from Jaspal Kaur with an update at 13.30 and telling me i will shortly be getting a call back to collect my car, the service documents show the vehicle was ready before 14:00.
I get no call back from Jaspal Kaur.
When I called Jaspal Kaur around 16:45, to find out what they are doing to my vehicle for so long, she dismissed the failing to call back, nor did she mention anything about insurance, she just said it's absolutely fine bring the car in before 17:30 as she wants to close the office and go home.
I set off almost immediately as I obviously want my car back ASAP,
not let on the liability of another Bus lane ticket like the last service by Chris.
I was worried, are these guys operating illegally?
Whilst I'm on the journey/driving to pick up my car around 5:10pm,
I received a call from Jaspal Kaur in a very aggressive/ rude manner telling me my insurance has expired due to her failings.
This has led to driving without insurance because she failed to call back earlier in the day, as she had said.
Which now jeopardises my drivers licence /occupation, private life, and a criminal conviction.
Clearly, this is highly unprofessional and unorganised, potentially neglect/illegal, to say the least.
Jaspal Kaur had typed my name incorrect on insurance documents too.
I asked her to update my phone number which she failed to do too, too unorganised.
Then, on top of that, which really put me off: She tried to shout at me face to face after mistreating me as a customer, at which point i walked off...
This will certainly be on CCTV.
Jaspal Kaur, self-proclaimed (senior "untouchable" team), was supposed to be taking care of the matter, in fact failed, told me there's nothing I can do about it.
Really?
Fair enough if that's how you treat customers aftersales. It's your business but our money.
I will NEVER get another vehicle from KIA/ HONDA VERTU BRADFORD.
I would NEVER RECOMMEND BRADFORD VERTUE KIA/HONDA, and I will mention this experience wherever necessary.
----
Everything is recorded and will be on cctv, including the recorded phone calls if KIA main branch require.
So here's advice to others, if you need it:
Buy from Leeds, Manchester, not Jaspal Kaur's "jeopardised" Bradford Kia/Honda Vertu.
Certainly I will not be having future dealings at Bradford KIA/Honda Vertu.
All relevant avenues are/will be taken in regards to how you treat customers, you dismiss it all you want Vertu Bradford.
Yours Kindly
Mr A.
She was very experienced on the variety of cars and she really gave me different options which I can't resist.
Please keep her with you she is a brain in the automobile world.
