We bought our car 4 years ago from Hyundai Bristol and have always found them to be very courteous and helpful.
We got to know Steve Anderson through him taking charge of my vehicle when in their workshop and ensuring that I get the best possible service and is always happy to discuss or reassure me of anything to do with my car and keep me updated. Considering how busy they are he always gives you his full attention.
Steve has made a note to give me a call in July to book my car in and discuss the best new tyres that my car will need rather than me having to research it myself.
As trained technicians you know that car will be treated with the expert knowledge you would expect from a main dealer.
Will certainly continue to use Hyundai Bristol and would buy from them again when the comes to update car .

Awful service! Don’t ever use this place for anything! If I could zero stars I would!!
I had to book a Hyundai i10 in for a repair as there was a noise when breaking and also a knocking noise that would get louder while driving. The car was under warranty and this place was only place we could take it as it was “Approved” by the dealer we bought it off.
Turned up on the Monday morning and was greeted by a man named John. Straight away was unprofessional towards the dealer we bought the car off talking negative about them and seemed arrogant and reluctant to take the car from us. He was given a potential list of what needed repairs as we had it looked over by a mechanic before hand. The mechanic who looked it over told us the wheel bearing, pads and disc’s and caliper all needed replaced and the tracking was out which John scoffed at! He told us it should be sorted the next two or three days after an investigation has to be Made and parts ordered and repair to take place.
The next week was a nightmare with myself and my wife calling regularly for updates which seemed that for anything to happen took ridiculously long. We was always told we will give you a ring for next update but these calls never happen at all it was always us calling to chase. The one day I called a member of staff told me the car was not even looked at until the Tuesday and when I mentioned this to John he immediately asked me all annoyed WHO TOLD YOU THAT!”. He clearly did not like a member of staff telling me that. Next thing after they finally got round to looking at the car we was told the problem was two drop links and engine mount. the parts was not ordered until Wednesday evening past the cut off for the repair on Thursday. I was highly annoyed so had to put up with waiting until it being done Friday as I had been stranded for work all week with myself and my wife only having one car and we both need a vehicle for work. Again I was told by John I will call you before midday as it should all be finished, This call again never came! I called and chased again and a member of staff told me all the work had been done it was just the tracking that needed and won’t be done until Monday! I could not wait any longer so said I will get the car tomorrow(Saturday) as this can’t go on any longer and I will get the tracking done myself. The member of staff said he would pass the message on. Then would you believe it we had our first call from John! He said no the repair work was not completed at all and the tracking also and it will be Monday. So again I was inconvenienced and by that time I was so mad and I could not understand why this is taking so long!!
Again I bit my tongue and waited for the Monday I called the morning to check it was going through which was all confirmed they will call me when it’s ready blah blah blah! … guess what, they never called! When I did call and it was ready I paid for a taxi to take me from north Bristol all the way there and I picked it up and drove it home. The next day my wife drove the car and the same noises that was there a week before was still there and obviously had not been repaired!!
Obviously myself very angry has since been in touch with this place and again spoke to John who very arrogantly tried to put word in my mouth that “are you saying the work we have done has made it worse?” Also trying to justify there trained mechanics diagnosed the problems and a repair was done in good faith. How he can say that a repair had been done when the problem is still there is absolutely bang out of order. This place massively inconvenienced myself and my wife for a whole week of this rubbish and we felt like we was being lied to for them to return us a non repaired car! Absolutely appalling and this company should really consider johns position within it as he is the worst person in a customer service position I have ever come across!!!

I was looking to trade my Volvo V40 for a new car, my husband suggested Vertu Motors as he had recently purchased a Hyundai Tucson from them and received very good Service from them and was assisted by Martin Watkins, so we returned to Vertu and met with Martin he was very friendly and spent quite some time with me advising of different car models that would suit me eventually I settled on a Hyundai Bayon it’s a lovely car to drive and very comfortable and looks lovely, I am so happy with the car and thank you to Martin who was very patient and spent time with me going through the order process through to the collection of my new car. would definitely recommend them.

I went into hyundai Bristol to look at a hyundai santa fe and dealt with martin,one of the salesman. He was helpfull and knowledgeable and professional .Also the sales manager Cellan was helpfull and gave me a good part exchange price on my car and good price on the car i purchased.The all process ran smoothly.
