Order cancelled after 20 days waiting

I ordered a pair of shoes from Vessi website on Nov 27. After 20 days the company sent me an email that my order was cancelled. Such a bad customer experience. I will never consider them again.

The order was canceled by Vessi right at x-mas eve

I have placed my order in Nov 24.it was confirmed in Dec 4.about Dec 20, I asked about the status of my order. You replied it will be shipped soon as you are very busy with the amount of orders in holiday seasons.
I checked the status of the order in Dec24, x-mas eve, and noticed the order was canceled in Dec 22. How could you do that? You left me in a very bad situation right at the x-mas eve.

Customer service was excellent

Customer service was excellent, very understanding, customer is #1. Retrun process once started was very easy. Will continue to shiop at Vessi. they have top quality products

Would give it a negative 5 stars

Would give it a negative 5 stars if I could. I saw Hank Green on YouTube promoting these shoes and so I ordered a pair on December 7th to gift to my husband for Christmas. I received an email on December 16 letting me know that due to higher than normal demand my order was delayed, which I did not mind. Since I did not hear from them I then sent them an email on the 22nd inquiring about the order and today the 23rd at 7pm eastern time I received an email letting me know that due to the high volume of orders mine was being cancelled so now it’s too late to get a gift for my husband for Christmas. I’m very upset and would not recommend this company.

i ordered a pair of walking shoes on…

i ordered a pair of walking shoes on Dec. 7th, 2025. I was waiting and waiting for an update for the ship date and finally got a cancelled order notice with a refund after waiting for the merchandise for over two weeks. This is no excuse for not notifying customers in advance. One day before Christmas and the company didn't even care about it. Don't buy anything from this company. This is a terrible way to deal with customer. If you don't have enough shoes to sell, then let me know right away.

Terrible Service

I ordered a pair of shoes for my sister-in-law on December 2nd, which was way before the cutoff date to receive for Christmas. On the 10th, I emailed customer service, where I received an AI response. I tried again and received a second AI response letting me know someone would contact me within 72 hours. Did not hear from anyone until after 5 days, I DM'd Vessi on IG. I finally received a response on the 19th and then didn't hear back until the 23r,d when they refunded me my order because they had made a mistake and no longer had the item. I now have no present for my sister in law, even though I did this with lots of time. I am super disappointed by the customer service and lack of communication. I understand Christmas is a busy time, but this was just totally unacceptable.

Do not trust Vessi to deliver your order. I ordered shoes for my son for Christmas on December 3. Two weeks later they sent me an email explaining they were behind on filling orders but my order would ship soon. December 22 they sent me an email that they had cancelled my order and did not know if or when they would have the shoes in stock. What a huge disappointment! No present for my son under the tree this year. Thank you Vessi for ruining our Christmas gift exchange! Bah Humbug Vessi

Horrible customer service

I ordered the shoes more than a month ago. The company shipped it with Fedex, but the order got stacked somewhere in Delta. I can understand this can happen, but there is no way to contact the customer service other than by email, where a chatbox is the only one answering. Very frustrating. And the shoes are not even that good, I had two pairs and they stopped working after not long, but I was giving them another shot. Already looking for alternatives.

Very satisfied

Fast shipping. My Vessi runners are stylish and comfortable, and needed no break-in period. They have good grippy soles and are totally waterproof. I would 100% recommend.

Chelsea love

It was easy to order and shipment was great with no issues. These are my second pair of Chelsea’s and I love them. I wear them in the Fall and Winter as long as the snow isn’t too deep. They live up to their reputation. They have kept my feet warm and dry. I highly recommend. I know I will get another pair when the time comes

Tore the skin off both my heels

I found their advertising to be deceptive around sale prices. I eventually purchased a pair of women's Weekend sneakers, my first purchase from this brand. The backs of the shoes were extremely rough and immediately wrecked both my heels. I was bleeding through my socks at my office job. I don't know how anyone could stand to wear these for more than a few minutes. I don't think it's a sizing issue, because they are otherwise comfortable and fit well. I don't think I'll even have a chance to find out if they're waterproof because they are so painful to wear. Unacceptable for shoes at this price point.

TLDR

TLDR

- These are by no means beaters. All 3 of my shoes have literally ripped at the seams. NOT "everyday shoes"

- My third pair failed to repel water within 4 months. Seam ripped.

- Not made for wide feet. "contorting shoe" really means your shoe will half its life expectancy to less than 6 months.

- If you live in any part of Urban Canada I do not recommend. I lost 1 of my pairs to Salt Erosion. The 1st time I didn't know until I read the fine print so that's on me. But for the salted streets of a Canadian city? Don't even bother.

-Experienced failures in Adhesive of soles, rubber of soles and stitching of fabric

End of TLDR
___

I Wore these shoes for about 3 years in a row. They are not your "Everyday"shoe. If your lifestyle is limited to an everyday walk in the park with your dog then these shoes will perform as the commercial states. But it is far from an everyday shoe.

If you are walking on concrete everyday and have a variety of mixed tasks then these shoes will fail you. On all 3 of my shoes, the rubber sole has worn to the point of disintegration. 2 of them have developed holes in about 9-10 months. By reference my 30 dollar shoes from winners were have lasted me for years.

If you have wide feet like me, expect your life expectancy of this shoe to fail you within 6 months. The "Forming" around your foot really means that you are stretching the adhesive with each step and that moisture barrier it prides itself on having is compromised.

I have spoken with the customer hotline and they leave zero sympathy once your buy their product. How are your soles outclassed by a 30 dollar shoe?

Don’t get your hopes up, a month later and still waiting….

These are great shoes IF you ever get them. 4 weeks and still no update on a delivery that was supposed to be 8 days after I ordered them.

And don’t bother trying to contact them, they hide behind an AI bot that tells you how sorry they are that they took your money and didn’t deliver.

incorrect shoes shipped and no response from human customer support

I still have not heard back for Order #: 1426768.
I purchased two pairs of shoes for my nephews and still have not received them.
I have received the wrong pair of shoes and am still missing the other pair, yet no return label to send back the wrong pair of shoes received.

I am getting an error when I try to return stating that this was a final sale, but the final sale was for the correct pair of shoes ordered NOT the incorrect one!!

I ordered a size 11 Men's stormburt low top - white AND a size 11 Men Stormburst low top - black. Instead, I received a size 10 black weekend sneaker.

An Artificial Intelligence customer support response refers to me process a return, but when I go to process a return I get a FINAL SALE error and can't return the INCORRECT SHOES shipped to me!

Not made in Canada and poor customer service


Unfortunately while maybe a Canadian company shoes are not made in Canada.

First pair of shoes are good. Fit well and no problem with water and wear.

Ordered 2 more pairs, different style. Website said to order 1/2 size up, which I did. Neither of these fit -would need to be at least another size up. They now won't accept them back for exchange or refund. They say it was final sale, but this wasn't well advertised and I based size on their recommendation. Very poor customer service as well. AI answers your enquiry and it takes many days to get a human response. Will not order from them again.
