WE ARE A SMALL 3 MAN IRONWORKS MANUFACTURING QUALITY BRITISH STOVES. We have picked up some poor review latley as out order book whent from 25 to 475 in 1 week. We are getting stoves out as fast as humanly possible :-) We do not have office staff. We make quality products at affordable prices but do not have manned phonelines or a receptionist. During the COVID crisis we kindly ask customers to deal with us by email allowing us to carry on manufacturing and answer emails after hours. Please do not confuse us with a huge manufacturing organisation. We are not that and don't wish to be

Disappointed...so far.

Update (9/6/21) - Stove was finally delivered today. Satisfied with the quality overall, apart from how the flue fits. There's a gap of about half an inch where it fits onto the stove top so I've purchased heat resistant tape to wrap around the bottom of the flue to prevent smoke leaking out through the gap! Unfortunately, the cover which I ordered once they'd come back in stock was not delivered with the stove.

Ordering was easy enough and initial communication was good. Unfortunately, the delivery date originally given wasn't honoured which was fine. I was told TNT would be responsible for the delivery and would be next day delivery from 1st June. It's now 3rd and still no sign of it! Can't get hold of anyone at the company via email or telephone. TNT delivery number given comes up with nothing on the website which isn't really helpful. Quite disappointing...

Order #67821 - small claims incoming.....!

Order #67821 - should have been delivered on the 27th May, No communication from Vesta on why it wasnt delivered. eventually got an email from TNT saying it had been collected but no reference number.

Still without my order - TNT cant trace the "collected" item either.

Vesta not answering emails or calls at all therefore as I paid via debit card I will be going to raise a small claims.

Small company or not - Absolute cowboys. If they cant fulfill the orders they have then they shouldnt be taking more.

Put a good review on here when I got my…

Put a good review on here when I got my stove. They promise a care kit if you do. My pizza stone broke after first use. Emailed no response !! Ordered a cover for my stove 14th April, money taken but has not arrived. Sent several emails No response.
Customer service woeful. If you read this please send my cover or refund me. Only £20 but not the point
Such a shame as my stove is excellent, shame they have a complete lack of customer service

Another review about terrible customer…

Another review about terrible customer service. Ordered in March, was told an early May delivery date. Managed to speak to them once and they promised it was in manufacture. A month later a notification it was shipped - it hasn’t showed up, delivery company want us to speak to Vesta but they don’t answer their phone or emails. Desperate for what looks to be a beautiful well made stove, but have lost all confidence we will ever get it

Awful customer service

Ordered two stoves, was told 2 to 3 weeks delivery. After about 2 1/2 months, one stove arrived. Still no sign of the second stove 3 1/2 months after original order. Communication is terrible, emailed counteless times with regard to the whereabouts of the second stove. Have been told it was 'out for delivery', 'it was returned by the courier and would be resent later in the week'. Two and half weeks later, still nothing. Although it's caused a lot of stress and delay to my building project, I'm not that bothered about the delay in the stoves, but the complete disregard for customer service is unbelievable.

Fiesta outdoor stove

Good communication throughout the process. As it was made to order I didn't expect it quickly but I was informed at regular intervals about delivery. Delivery was when they said it would be and the stove was packaged really well. The stove looks to be well made and I am sure if I have any questions, they will be answered promptly.

Avoid unless you do not mind long wait and being lied to

This is update number 2 (whole drama described below). After posting my previous update, lo and behold! almost 24hrs later, we got email that our woodburner is going to be despatched following day. It arrived today. Happy days reader may think... Unfortunately not for us as half of the order, stands for wood, is missing. And how you contact company who is not replying to emails and not answering the phone? I'll try the same method as before

Vesta Stoves you forgot to send me 2 stands! I am expecting an update by the end of the day on Monday 28th of June. If not I WILL take the case to Trading Standards and Police.

This is an update, if you are interested in my initial review please scroll down and read it.

Some time after I posted my review I was notified that Vesta Stoves replied to it. I checked the reply and quickly realised that it was quick copy and paste, damage limitation, exercise as person who wrote the reply posted exactly the same post under all negative reviews. However I decided to follow the advice in the post and wrote to them again. Of course there is no reply... and yet somebody is reading those reviews so:

Enough is enough!

Vesta Stoves you got 24hrs to contact me. If I will not hear from you by midday tomorrow I am going straight to the Trading Standards and Police. I think word "theft" could be used here.

Shocking lack of communication. My wood burner meant to be delivered week ago (17th of May) and, of course, it did not turn up. I guess I was lucky as somebody picked the phone up on first try. The gentleman was quite abrupt, took my postcode and told me that I will get my order delivered on Thursday (20th of May). I do not think he checked anything as he came up with answer straight away.

Yesterday we got email that our stove is "in manufacture"...

If you are thinking about ordering anything from them, honestly: don't. £1000 is large sum of money and they act like it is absolutely normal practice to take customers money, delay fulfilment and cut the communication with customers to zero . I am wondering what Trading Standards got to say about it.

Very worrying lack of communication post order

Like many others on here, I am deeply frustrated and concerned about a lack of communication post-order. My order (67710) is now overdue by more than a week, despite numerous unanswered phone calls, emails and Facebook messages. On the one occasion I did get through I was told the order would be despatched that evening, which clearly has not happened (that was over a week ago). I understand that this is a small operation but this is simply not good enough (and a worrying contrast with the highly responsive communication when I was placing the order...). I’m extremely disappointed and considering my legal options. Vesta, if you read this, I am clinging on to the hope that the high quality product I thought I was getting (supporting a British family business at the same time) will still be delivered to me. If that’s the case please contact me ASAP-you have the order number above.

I had ordered the Fiesta Garden Stove…

I had ordered the Fiesta Garden Stove as I wanted something better than a standard fire pit / chimenea as I hated smelling of smoke at the end of an evening.

After seeing the bad reviews I was wary about ordering the product. I did notice the location of the workshop, I googled this and found the signage on google street view. Knowing the company is genuine and living in the North West I knew I could travel drive to the factory as a last resort as communication has been poor in the bad reviews.

A couple of things to note.
The delivery date on the site is an estimation delivery date not a confirmed date. Originally my order was estimated to be delivered on 06th May. I had received an email from Vesta on 24th April to notify me that the order was set to manufacture, once this is completed I would receive a tracking email from TNT when it has been shipped.

The estimated delivery date was close so I went to their website to get their contact number to see if the date was achievable.

When visiting the site a standard notification appeared saying orders can be delayed up to 4 weeks. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited. On the 17th of May I had received a completion email followed by the TNT tracking number. I had taken receipt of delivery today (19th May) and have unboxed this.

The product seems to be a good quality robust item and well built. I am very pleased with the purchase. I had ordered this on wheels so I could easily move to the garage during times where this would not be in use and had therefore not purchased the additional cover. I am looking forward to using this item.

One thing I think could be improved with this company is communication. I would have liked an email to inform me if the estimated delivery date was not achievable and have the option to decide on a new convenient date rather than just having a date selected for me.

After looking online for a log burner…

1 After looking online for a log burner festa stoves came up and looked a good family business so we placed the order and was waiting for delivery after speaking to Vesta over the phone they said it’s being picked up tonight by TNT and will be with you on Friday so I Waited in all day and it never turned up I Tried to call them Several times and they would not answer so I sent about 10 emails still no reply finally got a hold of them and he said it was picked up he will chase TNT and get back to us after 4 days with many calls made and messages left still no reply we had to make a Decision and cancel the order please be Aware of this company The customer service is non-existent you don’t know where you are with them you don’t know if your order is coming or not and please read the terms and conditions as they will only refund you 60% back they are so incompetent it’s hard to fathom how they stay in business I wish I had paid more for one from another company I would advise anybody not to use them they will just Cause you a lot of unnecessary stress

2 Second day of Cancelling my order via email and still no reply what a surprise can they read and Wright I’m not sure Let’s see what tomorrow brings

3 we finally got a full refund but had Purchased the cover Which almost came straight away Which cost us £30 so out of pocket with that but just glad to have are money back and no more Dealings with them Case closed

Be wary of poor/ non existent Customer Service!!!

After a longer than expected with many unanswered emails and phone calls, I eventually received my vesta garden stove.
I am missing the cowl attachment which I paid for and cannot get through to anyone?? What am I meant do?? My money’s taken but I do not have the item??
Looks great the flues a bit wobbly but I’m hoping this straightens up once fire cemented in place, it’s a shame the customer service is so awful/ non existent as it would be great to be able to ring someone and get advice regarding this??
Please can someone respond to me on here or my 100 emails I have sent???

READ THIS BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THE GARDEN STOVE!

Purchased the Fiesta Garden Stove in March this year at a cost of over £900. I thought I was investing in a quality product the would last several years and liked the fact that they are made by a small family business. The stove arrived on time and looked great and appeared to be very well made. I originally wrote a 5 star review which I have now removed (note, Vesta offer a free care pack for all 5 star reviews, this was never dispatched). 6 weeks on and the stove has deteriorated to the point it is now sitting in the garage and out of use. We had originally placed the stove on a stone patio, never moved it or damaged the bottom in any way. We also purchased the Vesta outdoor cover and always ensured it was on if it was raining. A few weeks ago we had to move the stove and were shocked to see a very nasty rust stain on our newly installed stone patio where the stove had been. I contacted Vesta who took no responsibility whatsoever and stated that I should not have placed the stove directly on the patio. NOWHERE in Vesta's documentation/website etc does it warn you of this issue, in fact all the marketing shots of the stove show it directly on patio stones (I still haven't managed to fully remove the stain). Since then the rust has now encased the whole of the inside and is seeping out onto the exterior through the seams. I am aware that the interiors of stoves can develop some rust but the amount of rust that mine has developed in 6 weeks is shocking. Again I have reported this to Vesta and they have stated that this is normal and nothing to worry about and is caused by moisture in the wood! They will take no responsibility or any action to rectify. I was hoping to upload photo's of the issues but can't see an option to do this on Trustpilot. I am left with no option but to pursue through the small claims courts.

UPDATE - in response to Vesta's reply - the issue is not with the lead time, the stove was delivered on time as stated in my review. The issue is with the quality of the product itself as I've detailed above and also in the e-mails I've sent directly to you. You have not addressed this or taken any action to rectify.

Ordered my stove on 23rd March

Ordered my stove on 23rd March. Received a confirmation email of my order. Paid it is full - over £800. Email states will keep me posted with updates on order. I have had to chase for update. I received email 7th April saying order complete and swaying TNT to collect. Contacted them no item for me. I have repeatedly emailed both email addresses. Sent Facebook messages and phoned and left messages. No response. Facebook will not deliver its as though they have blocked incoming messages. And comments on FB page turned off. I wonder why 🤔. Now on 12th may and still nothing. I literally just want an delivery date or full refund. If delivery is going to be June then tell me that. Don’t leave me without information when you have my money.
Tempted to either drive from Glasgow to the company address to see what’s going on or raise a dispute of money paid through my bank.
I’m so gutted as everything I had read about this company was positive until recently weeks.
Shame because if it’s just volume of business they should have stopped taking orders and money from people 😡

During the past 12 months all business in the UK have had to deal with out of the ordinary circumstances. As a small business of just a couple of Blacksmiths we have also suffered many of these interruptions.

COVID , BREXIT , and raw materials supply issues have made our business environment extremely challenging. To add to this we seen a rapid rise in our book, in fact we received 15 x the normal amount of orders. Obviously during the pandemic we haven't been able to recruit so have been working 15 hours a day tp satisfy as many order as fast as possible. We have increased our lead times on the website whilst we get back on top of this.

In order to allow us to spend most of the day building customer orders we have moved from a phone system to email only. This allows me to get back to customers of an evening and I can spend all day building stoves.

I am very sorry for your disappointment. This is not our normal way of doing business. However, we have had to change fast during the past 12 months.

If I can do anything to assist please drop me an email or better still reply to your order confirmation. Any customer who cannot wait is welcome to receive a full refund and I will action this within a few hours.

Thanks again for taking the time out to bring this to my attention. I am working very hard to resolve the current situation.

Fiesta Stove is Great

We ordered a Fiesta stove for our gazebo in February and it has already allowed us to have many happy evenings in our garden despite the great british weather.
Wanted a superbly made British stove and it is a stunning centre piece in our gazebo. It gives out sufficient heat to keep 5 people warm in the gazebo which is 3m x 3m on frosty nights.
Service and delivery were excellent.
I'd thoroughly recommend Vesta Stoves.

Ordered the Stove 15th March had…

Ordered the Stove 15th March had confirmation of delivery for 23rd april. Delivery never turned up! Called the office ( constant calls over a number of days as constantley no answer) I was advised that a ticket will be raised to TNT chasing delivery and they will get back to me. Surprise surprise it is now 11th May and i am still chasing for a response! Can never get through on the phone and my emails have been ignored! I Have since contacted TNT and they confirmed that they have no item for me . Basically I have been lied too! there is no stove coming my way! I have now raised a dispute with my credit card company to refund my purchase. I would avoid this company!

Sad to say that this review could have…

Sad to say that this review could have been a lot better if it wasn’t for the lack of customer care post delivery that let the company down. Included the pizza oven attachment followed the instructions that weren’t very clear. No instructions or videos on their website or YouTube. So followed what I could from vague instructions and it broke. I have emailed 4 times left messages & nothing. For a high priced item with high spec your after care service Or lack thereof after spending nearly a grand with you is abysmal. Many friends have asked about it but I tell them not to bother as the company after care is terrible & you wouldn’t want to risk a problem with a high priced goods. I have been waiting over a month still no response.

Vesta please contact us and send agreed and paid for goods!

UPDATE
- contacted as they suggested on Friday 7th May and still no response from Vest via email- left with no choice by to raise PayPal dispute

After alot of research and saving I ordered a Stove including under stove logstore, Flue kit and Hearth in November.
After many many attempts to contact you regarding delivery by phone ,email and messenger in March and early Aprili received no reply. Finally on the 8th April the stove finally arrived with hearth.
However, on arrival the hearth was damaged with deep scratches (possibly caused in transit) and an unsightly weld lump was found on top of stove. The flue kit arrived the following day.

However there was no sign of the log store. With no sign of logstore and with the issues noted above we contacted Vesta and managed to get a response on messenger and they agreed to provide a new hearth, a touch up kit for top of stove and the logstore to be sent with a £100 refund ASAP.
The decision not to return for full refund was made mostly as felt I had waited so long for it to arrive didn't want to have a prolonged wait for another new stove!
On the 16 April I was told the agreed items outstanding were to be delivered in the week beginning the 19th April. I have waited patiently for delivery but with no sign and once again I can get NO response from Vesta through any methods of contact. Please send me the goods I have paid for and replacement item or I will have no choice but to raise a dispute with PayPal to retrieve the money.

Poor Communication...Lovely Stove

We ordered a stove in February and it was delivered in April.
I had tried to communicate with Vesta Stoves via Twitter,email,phone and messenger all without success.
I lost the will with trying to deal with Vesta Stoves and so started a charge back with my credit card company as i thought i had been scammed.
Strangely enough Vesta Stoves can soon get in touch then asking for payment !! They can communicate they either choose not to or cant be bothered.
The stove itself is great and we are happy with it.
I just cant recommend Vesta stoves and I cant write a false review just to claim a free pack that would probably never arrive anyway.
If you want a lovely stove and cant find one elsewhere then use this company. Pay on a credit card and be prepared for a long silent wait.
