WE ARE A SMALL 3 MAN IRONWORKS MANUFACTURING QUALITY BRITISH STOVES. We have picked up some poor review latley as out order book whent from 25 to 475 in 1 week. We are getting stoves out as fast as humanly possible :-) We do not have office staff. We make quality products at affordable prices but do not have manned phonelines or a receptionist. During the COVID crisis we kindly ask customers to deal with us by email allowing us to carry on manufacturing and answer emails after hours. Please do not confuse us with a huge manufacturing organisation. We are not that and don't wish to be

Purchased the Fiesta Garden stove.

Purchased the Fiesta Garden stove.

We ordered our stove in May and it arrived within 2 weeks. After using it for some time we are very happy with the build and functionality of the garden stove.

It heats our gazebo so we have been able to sit outside and utilise our building throughout the cold evenings.

Its been the best investment we have made for our garden.

Terrible communication

We ordered a stove a couple years ago. Delivery and communication were spectacularly slow. It’s taken a couple of years for us to be able to instal the stove as we are having issues and when we did we realised we needed the log store. We ordered this and it was due for delivery in May. It’s still not here. They don’t answer the phone or emails. I can’t move forward with the work until this is delivered but once again they just don’t communicate.

The stove when it did finally arrive was good quality

Zero customer care EDIT following quickest response ever

As the majority of the reviews say - TERRIBLE customer service. The repeated excuse I got was that is was a small family run business; i hate excuses rather than apologies and I run a small business myself so couldn’t quite fathom how it was impossible to respond either at all or with an honest answer. The delivery was all over the place with the delivery driver annoyed at me, initially, then apologised as he’d been given the wrong information. They seriously over charged me with extra flue after the stove arrived and no flue, I was under time constants. I contacted them about the fact there was extra flue, no actual directions (as the ones of their websites don’t download) and was just ignored. I spent hundreds over so have spare flue in storage as i don’t know what to do with it… There are no youtube channels on how to install their burners other than ethereal videos of them just working which doesn’t help. So I went to my own knowledge in the past and you tube of similar burners, then visited local shops in my area which sold me the missing parts (such as wind and rain cowl and extra flashing etc) and did it myself.

I was in a serious situation and made that clear on the first port of contact. As a small family run business they should have the basic training in red flagging - if they were not capable of assisting me then they should be clear so I could have gone elsewhere. The fact they over charged me enormously in a time of personal crisis is unacceptable. The one star is because the burner works and looks nice but the journey to get there took a task force of my own exhausted doing.

As someone who designs bespoke training for companies I advice they hire a consultant to help them to either increase staff, training and customer service or massively decrease their workload to efficiently manage the customers they have.

Edit: WOW that is the fastest reply ever. I called, over and over, and emailed. No reply. After paying hundreds for extra flue not needed i could not afford for installation - and - the reviews say the people who install are sexist and rude. I have PTSD from an abusive relationship so would never pay for that in my home.

I am not one bad review, I am a long line in consistent bad reviews for the same issue. Simply telling me to have called is not an acceptable outcome.

Third response: i disagree entirely, every company experiences the few bad reviews from customers who are a challenge to please but your bad reviews are the same issue. Even if you outsource installers that is still your responsibility to own I’m afraid.

I have called you and emailed you with no response. I would LOVE to get a refund for the extra flues but to have them picked up by yourselves, from experience, would be impossible as we have had to since move due to our crisis situation which you knew of. So they are in storage which i cannot access for months.

My advice is to own the consistent errors you are making as a company and address them so they stop in the future. I have been asked to write a book on my experiences in the past few months due to what happened to help others who were thrown into my situation. Treat everyone kindly, that is the best thing you can do. Not responding over and over is not kind.

i am sorry you feel like you didnt have enough information to install the stove. We recommend that you use a stove installer to install a heating appliance rather than self install. If its a grade stove then its very simple just a case of placing the flues into the stove and fasterning 2 nuts.

You only need to call me and ill always offer advice, I will even do a video call and show you how to install anything. Unfortunatley if I am building stoves then it wont be instant like a multinational company.

I am sorry you have issues in your relationship in the past. We don't employ installers we just pass on info for a local installer so any issues with them we cant be responsible for. Its up to the customer to vet the installers directly and if required make a complaint to the governing body.

Unfortunatley Ill agree we had issues during the pandemic just like every other company on earth. Unfortunatley people don't go out of there way to leave a good review anymore. Not only that all our positive reviews get filtered out by trustpilot as we don't subscribe. Bought a pizza oven with 2 log storage…

Bought a pizza oven with 2 log storage units.
Pizza oven turned up. Glass broke in the cold weather.
The so call ceramic plate for the pizza shattered as soon as a bit of heat and I haver been waiting for about a year for these storage units.
emailed several times with no reply.
I am about to instruct my lawyer to get my money back.
I have called so many times, and still get the same old message that they are busy.
yes busy ripping everyone off

I am sorry you have had a bad experience with your fiesta. I have just sent out 2 replacement glass and a pizza stone.

It is important that the instructions are followed. The glass should be finger tight. overtightening will make it crack. Its basically pyrex and needs to have rooms to expand and contract. This is in the instruction booklet.

The pizza stone is similar. As per the instructions it should only be used over embers. We sell hundreds with no issues but you need to carefully take not of the instructions.

The log stores have been discontinued, and have been refunded to your account.

You should receive the replacement glass and pizza kit by Tuesday but please follow instructions carefully.

Appalling service

Appalling service. Waiting for 2 months and my order is still not complete. Many emails sent trying to get an update. No response. Avoid this seller.

Unable to get responses

We placed an order for a stove, flu, and 2 log stores. Arrucak quoted 12th april. Stove arrived no glass for doors no flu and no log stores. Our initial query resulted in the arrival of the flu and glass doors. May 20th still chasing the log stores. No response to phone calls. No response to emails. Love the stove but unhappy we have paid for 2 items that we still don't have. Our only option appears to be to contact our card company ad raise a dispute over partial delivery. Preference is to resolve amicably but when they won't communicate this is not possible

Do not use this company

Do not use this company ! 1 year on I’m still waiting for part of my order (log store) company completely ghosted me when I’m trying to chase it up last year lots of times, don’t answer the phone and never return my calls. stove I’ve bought is going rusty, pizza stone broke straight away, it’s not really fit for purpose. I was considering small claims court for the log store but I can’t be bothered!
As you can tell, I’m not impressed. Specially for a £900 order.

I bought a Stove from them last year

I bought a Stove from them last year. I have written about 15 emails and called around 20 times and am still waiting for a response or returned call.
The chimney cowl, log store and cover never arrived.
The stove was not half painted, the under side of the stove was bare metal, 1 year on it is a mass of rust.
I would not go near this company.

It may appear orange if let outside for long periods not covered but this in know way affects the life of the stove. Excellent value and product just improve communication

I agree with all the customers about customer service. I had the same experience last year re stove delivery and no cowl. I managed to get a refund for the cowl. Due to covid the garden renovation took a lot longer and the stove sat outside under cover all winter. Now my fiesta stove is up and running and I think it is wonderful. I bought the two way glass version which heats the top and bottom sitting area. I think the stove is good value for money. Again I ordered the cowl this year and had to remind them about non delivery but was sorted out quickly this time and it makes a huge difference. I have cooked on the stove and compared to my friends who paid three times the cost of a Vesta Siesta I love the stove and it really packs out a huge heat. It is a small firm but the only criticism is the customer communication bit. Just reply, acknowledge, be honest and people will understand delays. Sorry couldn’t send a picture because it really enhances the whole garden experience.

Don't use this company

I ordered a cowal for my stove in June 2021. Received an email on 28th July to say the cowal was in manufacture. The expected delivery date was 17th August so I thought all was going well. Unfortunately the cowal did not arrive and although I tried to contact the company by email and phone I have had no response from them about my order.
This is extremely poor customer service and I would not advise using this company.

BEWARE!!

BEWARE!!! Go elsewhere. The WORST company I have ever dealt with. Every email I got was a lie telling me my garden heater was shipped, sitting in customs. I took days of work waiting on delivery as per johns instructions. It was never shipped, probably never made. Months later I am looking for a different heater and a refund. I've been in touch with trading standards. Looking at the other reviews on here I'm amazed this company is in business. I was looking for a quality British made item. All I got was shafted.

Hi The order was shipped however you emailed asking to cancel the order so we provided an immediate refund.

As you are in Ireland and issues with customs deliveries can take a while to clear customs under the new TSS rules.

As you requested a refund we did this immediately and allocated your stove elsewhere.

I am sorry you feel this way however as explained all our stove are made from scratch by 2 Blacksmiths and along with steel supply issues caused by the pandemic things have in some cases took longer than expected. We can and will always provide immediate refunds if a customer isn't prepared to wait for a quality British product.

I feel that leaving bad reviews for a small 2 man business is a sign of the times, Cancel culture..

I don't agree you got Shafted. You simply ordered and product couldn't wait, and got provided with an immediate refund.

I am sorry for the experience you received and would reiterate we are a small 2 man blacksmith team operating under the extreme circumstances of a global pandemic, Global supply chain issues, and customs clearance issues caused by Brexit.

Useless

Same as everyone else below. Took my money for order in August. Emailed, telephoned with no response. Eventually had a response after threatening trading standards to say would arrive today. Guess what no delivery. I asked for my money back in October and have not received this either. Terrible company do not use or purchase from them. Buyer beware

Same for us

Same for us: Order and payment was received in April 2021. Until now (Jan. 2022) NO Logburner, 2 emails in return on our probably 15 emails sent (one was order conformation, 2nd was order status put to "in manufacture" in May 2021) and nobody ever picking up the phone. We are from Switzerland and fear our money is lost. Luckily my boss is a lawyer and we now try to get our 1000 £ back from them. Wish us luck.

Great stove and quick delivery.

Ordered on the 6th January and receIved on 17th. John delivered the fire himself and helped to carry it to the garden where we have already used it a couple of times. Stunning looking fire that really throws out some heat. Looking forward to many evening sat in front of it in our Gazebo.

Vesta Stoves - Poor Quality Customer Service

Re Missing Order: #69067
I am very disappointed to be writing this review but feel Vesta Stoves have let me down. I have been very understanding and reasonable but now I am running out of patience on what is a really simple matter to sort. It is not about the product Vesta Stoves manufactured as they did despatch the goods, it is about the very poor customer service they provide.
MyHermes received my order from Vesta on 17 Dec but it still has not been delivered to me. I have tried many times to telephone Vesta Stoves but only get the answer machine saying they will get back to you before 6pm (on the day you contact them). In addition I have sent 10 emails to which John has replied to only 4. I was willing but unable to sort out this missing delivery as Vesta Stoves is My Hermes customer, not me. I can track the parcel with the Hermes online tracking service which is still telling me, one month on, ‘it is delayed’. The My Hermes telephone service will not recognise the same tracking number so I am unable to speak to Hermes myself. John emailed me to say he was sorting it out with Hermes and then 7 January he emailed to say he would send out a replacement order that day. I have not received this replacement nor have I been given any tracking information to say it is on its way.
As I heard nothing else I sent one last email giving Vesta the chance to reply before I posted this review and contacted my credit card company. Sadly it proved to be another ignored email.
John, please respond to sort out this easily resolvable situation. Please realise that you must address customer queries and problems as your poor customer service does nothing to enhance the reputation of your Company. A further word of advice is to use a better transport provider than one that does not respond to customer queries
It is with regret that I have raised a dispute with my credit card company. Please contact me so this issue can be resolved.

Shocking customer service

Shocking customer service. No updates as to when the product was arriving and it took forever.
Fire rusted after the first week so I ordered a cover for it in August 2021. Still haven’t received the cover despite paying for it and have sent numerous emails and have called but just got the answer machine. Can’t get a refund for the cover so hopefully they’re putting my money towards improving their service to others….
