We are getting stoves out as fast as humanly possible :-) We do not have office staff. We make quality products at affordable prices but do not have manned phonelines or a receptionist. During the COVID crisis we kindly ask customers to deal with us by email allowing us to carry on manufacturing and answer emails after hours. Shocking customer service, take money and then no response. Emails ignored absolutely appalling send the goods or refund the money .
Appalling customer service, like most we had been waiting for our stove since the Spring after spending over £1000 with them.
No replies to many emails so we resorted to raising a claim with Paypal and we've now had a full refund.
The worst part is that they took our order, promising a delivery date via email, when they knew they already had a massive backlog. If you're overwhelmed, stop orders on your website until you've caught up!
Vesta Stoves, if you're reading this - we know you're a small business and we all appreciate you have to wait for a handmade item (I run handmade business myself, I get it!) and most customers have been patient, but if you respond to queries and keep customers in the loop all of these reviews could have been avoided.
To hide away and ignore emails is horrendous customer service, causing stress and inconvenience to everyone.
Avoid at all costs.
I purchased a fire from this company for £1500 in April with a 12 week delivery.
After chasing for an update i was told it would ship “today” - this was on 24th August.
On 29th September i was told it would leave on “Tuesday”.
A week later still no stove and no communication.
Ive asked for my money back but they will not reply.
I suspect this company is in financial difficulty as why else would they not give deliver half a year late!!

seriously. I gave these guys the benefit of the doubt. Stove should have been ready in July. We received it mid September.
With zero personal communications received from company during the delay (we did receive a bulk email bribing everyone with some free accessories to leave a 5 star review- so don’t believe all you read on here) we finally got our stove.
However. It has one key piece missing. The wheels. A vital requirement so we can move it into the garage when it rains (even more so now when people are complaining of rust after 2 weeks)
I’ve tried to call. Left messages on machine and emailed. All with no reply. They seem to have blocked my email address too now as I don’t receive the usual ‘we’ve got you email and will be in touch’
So I used a different email address to which I did receive the standard reply.
Shocking behaviour from a trading company.
We bought this well before the terrible reviews began to appear but seriously. Do not buy from these guys. It will cause you serious heart ache and stress.
I’ve had to resort to raising a dispute with my credit card company. Something I’ve never had to do before. An absolute shame as we like to support small businesses ourselves.
Definitely had our fingers burnt (no pun intended). This could have been easily resolved in a call or email. But to hide their head in the sand is only going to make this worse.
Avoid. Like the plague.

This is the worst company I have dealt with for a very long time. My first order was late and the company refused to answer any calls or emails. The stove did arrive but the quality of the welds was shoddy and the design of the cowl locator is poor. I subsequently ordered a cover and a cowl. The order was placed on the 20th of August, payment was taken on the 23rd of August and delivery was scheduled for the 17th September. It has not arrived by the 30th September and despite numerous calls and emails, the company has not responded to provide me with an update on the fulfilment of my order. I am forced to raise a payment dispute with my bank. I don’t have the time for this type of nonsense and I have never had to do it before. This company should be avoided if this is the treatment their customers receive.
If anyone takes notice of reviews please take notice of this 1?? Stove ordered and paid for in April .After I really don’t recall how many emails with possibly 2 replies the stove arrived in August after 3 false dates and 3 days lost work . It then arrived without any notification minus the cover and the flu .
I have since tried ringing and emailing and guess what still no flu or cover . Surely the only way these people got more than 1 star must have been from relatives?.
Never in my life have I been treat like this and really don’t think anyone else should take a risk in dealing with this company .
Terrible service. My delivery was scheduled for 13th September. I emailed John to check we were still on track and he confirmed it was. I had a fitter scheduled for the 14th. Not only have Vesta inconvenienced me waiting in all day for a stove that has not materialised but they wasted the time and income of the fitter. Both could have been avoided if they had shown basic levels of customer services and updated me that it would be delayed.
Still no stove and no answer to any email chasing for updates or as of last week to request a refund.
Will teach me to buy from a local independent again.
Warning - do not but from this company - awful experience. I’ve finally revived my stove after 14 weeks and I have no wheels, glass or spring to keep the door in place. I’ve rang twice, left two messages and also emailed 3 times. No reply!!!
I knew they were busy so waited patiently with dread after reading the review and unfortunately the quality of the stove was appalling for over £900. It’s rusting already. I’ve had it two weeks. I’m going to open a dispute on PayPal for my money back.

I have had a similar experience to a number of other reviews. Original delivery slot June, no communication, no responses to my emails. Outdoor stove eventually arrives in August with no notice, luckily I was in. Pizza shelf and cover missing. Emailed the company numerous times to ask for them to be sent, no reply. I raised a case with PayPal, they didn’t respond to that and therefore PayPal settled in my favour. Amazingly the owner emailed me more or less straightaway after receiving a refund, offering to send the items or they would pass the case on to their debt recovery company!! Within two days my pizza shelf and cover have been sent. Poor communication and customer service and no I won’t be leaving a 5* review in order to be sent a £30 cleaning pack, my experience has been far from this
I received my stove unexpectedly yesterday and it looks great. After delays and no communication I visited their workshop and they ARE busy making stoves so if it doesn't arrive on time be patient and you'll get your stove.
Never in all my years living have I experienced such horrendous horrendous service. Gave all my hard earned cash in March for fiesta stove and accessories promised it would be with me by June due to delays brexit etc, no stove arrived in June, numerous emails phonecalls all ignored, pergola built with no fire, special party's all past by no stove, I was then told it was lost in transit for months and returned to John, then gave a tracking number for my new apparently fast track delivery, waiting weeks again no stove, and no contact back after countless emails
Then they said they where in isolation due to Covid and I got stuck in the middle of this?? Then I was given a false tracking number, contacted delivery company said no number name or parcel ever existed. I cannot even tell you the lies after lies where being told, honestly this company made me grey. Never in my life living have I left a review never mind a bad review but as a nurse myself I felt I needed to protect others from this absolute madness and overwhelming stress. My stove eventually arrived in August with no accessories for fitting, needed gazebo fitting which was paid for in March to fit stove through perspex roof on Pergola. Again no reply to weeks of emails then to be told it must of got lost as was sent with stove, then to be told a new one was fast tracked. Again no accessories sent, no reply to my emails, nothing, phone line disconnected. Nearly end September and no Stove fitted, heart wrenching.

My husband ordered a wood burner in May this year, was told it would be delivered in August, communication between May & August was fine until delivery. Husband contacted company by email asking for a date as we were going on holiday on 14th, was told it would be delivered on 10th August, waited around all day for delivery that didn’t arrive. Emailed the next day to remind them we would be on holiday from 14th until 21st & could delivery be arranged for the following week. While we were on holiday my neighbour messaged to say that a large crate had been left at the bottom of my drive almost on the pavement. My neighbour & his son managed to move it round to my back garden out of sight of passers by. On return when we opened the package the glass was completely shattered, my husband emailed photos & asked for a replacement. To date despite numerous emails we have had no response. As there are quite a few people including ourselves experiencing horrendous customer service, I am now considering contacting BBC watch dog & would encourage others to do the same. This company are scamming us out of hard earned cash & taking advantage of the Covid pandemic.
For anyone reading this before considering purchase please note that this company is offering customers a bribe of a £30 stove care pack if they leave a 5 star review so treat the 5 star reviews with this in mind.
Unfortunately my experience is much the same as the other reviews except that when the stove arrived unannounced 3 months after being promised and 6 or 7 months after the order was placed, the glass was shattered and the flue was more oval shaped than round, with a big scar down the side. The handle also looks pretty questionable as to life span and oddly is of metal so an oven glove will probably be required. A cover, ordered in April has never appeared.
If this company cannot even send out a cover in 6 months then you must question how long they can remain in business. If you want to risk giving them your money up front then you do so with all these comments in mind but it might be prudent to wait a year or so for them to get some help in - they must be sitting on millions, 475 orders a week at £800 a go - so why haven’t they? Or to avoid what seems like an inevitable bust.
If I read every review for everything I bought online I would never buy anything.Totally understand we are in strange times, many multi national companies are also struggling to meet demand.So with that in mind my review is for the wood burner only.
What a purchase,quality robust construction & a super amount of heat generated.Used every weekend since purchased & the burner still looks brand new.
Give the customer service reviews a miss & you won’t be disappointed with the product you are buying.
Great service from this local firm who have worked tirelessly in Covid. Stove did come later than planned due to excess demand but not an issue. Arrived beautifully packaged so not damaged and looks amazing. Just need some cool weather now so we can use it.
I have never usually leave reviews but since I read so many bad reviews about this company on trustpilot I thought I would share my thoughts.
I ordered my fiesta vesta stove at the start of July and I was told that it would take between 6 to 8 weeks to make due to material shortages and the high demand of orders. Shortly afterwards I was sent a delivery date for the 23rd of August.
I contacted John on the 23rd of August asking when my stove would be ready and he said that it would be sent out that week and it should arrive with me on Friday the 27th. I never received any delivery details so I contacted John asking of it had been shipped but I didn't receive a response. I was happy to see that my stove did arrive on Friday as planned.
The quality of the stove was really good and it was well packaged. I saw none of the faults that other reviewers had made.
The only thing I can criticise which is why I am not giving 5 stars is the flue is a little wobbly. My one has three screws securing the flue which I believe is a modification as some people only had one screw. John recommends using fire cement to secure the flue which I will do at a later date. Also the handle for the door could be better quality, it does the job but for a stove that's close to a 1000 pound I would have thought the handle would have been better. But it's something I can modify myself some other time.
Apart from that me and my partner have spent a few nights under the stars enjoying the heat from our new stove and we are really happy with it.

Terrible. I have only given 1 star because it won't let me leave none. I ordered on 27th April with a delivery date of 12th July. The week before I contacted them to check and was told it was slightly delayed.
I then had no contact at all, emails weren't answered. Phonecalls weren't answered finally in desperation I sent the following
I am getting exceedingly worried about my order. My original date for delivery was 12th July and you are not answering my emails. Your reviews on trust pilot are shocking and it seems you have just taken my money. Please contact me or refund me but for gods sake talk to me. Your website is still taking orders even though you can't fulfil the ones you've got. I am going to have to take legal action if you do not contact me
At this point I was told it would be a week. That was 6 weeks ago. I have finally had a refund.
This firm are still taking orders with a supposed 4 week delivery date despite the fact that they have not fulfilled their backlog of orders. Their communication is non-existent. Do not buy from this company

I did manage to get through to the guy John in September and he checked through my details and told me the specialist paint for my stove had just come in and I would be seeing the delivery soon..... that was 5 weeks ago.
I have left 3 messages on their answerphone this week and also emailed, still nothing.
No idea what to do next other than report to trading standards or report to our bank as a fraudulent transaction.
Like others I am incredibly shocked that a company can take such big amounts of payments from customers and then completely disappear underground with no way of customers contacting/zero updating communication.
I paid for a stove to be delivered with a 8 weeks lead time quoted. Was paid for on the 18th May 21 and meant to be delivered by the 16th July. As yet, nothing has arrived and I have no way of contacting this company as they do not answer a phone and do not respond to email communications.
I AM STARTING TO THINK THIS IS A SCAM AND WILL HAVE TO CONTACT MY BANK FOR A FRAUD CLAIM.
Do not put your hard earned cash into this company.
Even if they are genuine, they have no idea about communicating with customers and updating them with basic info on order status.
This company is a disgrace. Do NOT purchase a stove from them. I had the Stove delivered in April 2021 and it has completely split at the back. Its completely rusty and the pizza stone broke straight away on its first use. I have emailed numerous times and tried calling but no reply. This Stove cost £800 only to be rendered completely useless. I am going to have to pay for it to be welded by another company. Absolutely terrible customer service. To be honest I don't even think they are trading anymore and with the terrible service I have received I'm not surprised. If they are still trading shame on you. You should be shut down. Obviously I'm not the only one who think this company is a sham with all the terrible reviews. I will be seeking legal action!
