Switched to vhi, before the renewal date we had a baby, they informed us it would be a full years cost to add them despite a couple of days in the difference. I complained and was then led on a... See more

Astounded by the poor rating. My experience has been excellent over the past 3 or 4 years. Particularly the snap and send claims feature which is easy and really quick. I just got a GP and Physio clai... See more

After being a costumer of VHI for 19years, when we needed them the most for our only daughters Scoliosis operation, you guys let us down. We had to beg a charity in Dublin, "Straightahead" to pay for ths operation, without there help we would still be waiting. How kind of you all. Disgusting

Disgusting! Called up to cancel my policy due to CoViD19, meaning that I'm basically paying for nothing since private hospital care is temporarily suspended...The rep insisted on speaking on my time and a call i've made. I interrupted her to tell her to stop trying to get me to keep the policy as I can no longer afford it. 'No wait a minute, let me finish what i wana say' and then she proceed to babble on for another 3 minutes on my time! What an a-hole! On top of that i then had to wait to be transferred to another agent who attempted to do the same, but kept telling me its entirely up to me while proceeding to try to convince me to keep the policy! They then went and demanded that i pay a further pro-rata amount calculated on full premium! The cheek of this company

Never had issues with the claims except dental

Never had issues with the claims, I always had the answers (good or bad) given when calling them without multiple followups. I am giving 4/5 stars because the dental policy they have is a 17 century approach. I actually laughed when I heard what I have to do for a claim. Not even dentists understand it.
