Viaplay only plays through the Viaplay app nothing else!!

Hi can play through the app no probz but it wont cast at all to any device! tried to play it through my pc on chrome and edge no joy it just keeps doing the spinning wheel thing! tried it through my edge app on xbox no joy same thing! only works through the viaplay app which will not cast to my tv so have to watch it on my phone or tablet which is not ideal for my rugby watching!! have no problem playing any other media content just this very anoying!!!!

Impossible to cancel.

Impossible to cancel.

I have tried the website a couple of times as well as reaching out to the support email.

I only subscribed to it to be able to watch the premier league games. Well, first of all, since I’m physically located in PL, there’s only PL casting (I’m not a Polish speaker, I’m simply relocated in here, so thanks for that!)

When the WC started the not so great experience was definitely not worthy a penny to me, so I clicked cancel a couple of times in different browsers of different laptops and OS. I have been charged ever since, even after sending an email (which was completely ignored).

I honestly think the only solution to stop being charged is to cancel my card.

In terms of the cancellation itself, the steps are as follows:

1. Click on "Account overview" by hovering over your profile in the top right corner. Then click on "Cancel".

2. Answer the questions and then click through to the next page.

3. Confirm the termination by clicking on the green button located further down the page.

4. Double-check that you have received a confirmation email from us.

5. Ready!

You will therefore always have an email confirming the cancellation once you have cancelled; if you have not received this mail, doublecheck that you have followed these steps and finalised the cancellation.

This company are effectively online…

This company are effectively online robbers. I had a monthly account subscription with Premier sports that I could cancel easily when premier. Now it’s Viaplay it’s impossible to cancel. They’ve stole 2 monthly payments from me in December and January by not allowing me to cancel. My last resort was to contact my bank and block this merchant from taking any more monies. It’s disgusting what they are doing and should be investigated by the online FSA

I had subscriptions with premiere sports now change to via play but subscriptions still coming out of account each month and via play keep asking to subscribe even thou there taking payments out of my account each month

Recently gave this company 1 star after a frustrating wait for customer service through either the chat line or by phone. However, I subsequently emailed Viaplay and they responded very quickly and gave me a refund without question.

I applied for the 7 day free trial to…

I applied for the 7 day free trial to cancel anytime but you cannot cancel.I have tried to email with no response of you get a response and tell them to cancel and the account is still active so I now have had to block the card so they cannot take payment.Just wish these the customer service would just get this sorted
And give me my refund of £11.99.

Expensive service for little value

I used to subscribe to La Liga TV for 8 quids, they have nearly doubled the price after the Viaplay takeover and don't have any cheaper tier. I don't want to watch Nordic shows. Too expensive in this climate, and thanks to the reviews stating the problems with the service. Will not be subscribing in near future.

Buffering, poor commentary, app bad!

Heavy buffering even though I have very fast fibre broadband making it unwatchable.
On the add occasion it does work, the sports commentators are second rate, talk over the ref and TMO discussions and babble on about things that are irrelevant - they like the sound of their voices! Fortunately mute works. The app experience is also very poor by todays standards.
Have cancelled after just 1 month.

Don't sign up!!!

We signed up while we were in the UK. We are now in Canada and trying to cancel our subscription..and it is impossible. We can't get into the app over here even to cancel and several email and online requests to Viaplay have gone unanswered. I would never ever recommend this service to anyone. Zero customer service. Zero accountability.

Used premier sports to watch rugby, these robbing gits took over and doubled the price, couldn't access the new app and took ages and a lot of difficulty to cancel a subscription for an app I could not access. Big mistake URC getting lumbered with this lot
