Concerns regarding the use of links from this site in Wikimedia projects
I have noticed that links to this website are frequently added to Wikimedia projects, including the Portuguese Wikipedia and Wikidata. In my opinion, using Wikimedia platforms to promote a resource in this way is inappropriate. I believe that Wikidata and other Wikimedia projects should be used to provide neutral and verifiable information, rather than serving as channels for promoting external websites.

We would like to clarify that the inclusion of our links from Portal Viciados was never intended as spam, but rather to enrich the database with another journalistic source, similar to what happens with other sites of our niche and size.
As proof of our commitment to producing valuable information, we have created several exclusive pieces of content that have received international media attention over the years.
At the 2019 Brazil Game Show, we conducted interviews with the cast of Grand Theft Auto V (Ned Luke, Shawn Fonteno, and Steven Ogg).
In addition, together with our partner SanInPlay (Elissan Cerqueira), we secured an exclusive interview with Young Maylay. The actor from GTA San Andreas has given very few interviews over the years, making this material a rare journalistic record with indisputable reference value for preserving the franchise's legacy.
Our recognition from the producers themselves, such as Rockstar Games, Sony, and Capcom, reflects this level of quality, which is the opposite of 'spam' practices.
In fact, to optimize our technical quality and search engine optimization (SEO) parameters, we recently completed an internal content audit, where we reduced volume and removed approximately 6,000 articles from the site. We kept only the highest-authority content.
We also own the Facebook page, Viciados Em GTA, which is the largest Grand Theft Auto fan page in Brazil with almost 1 million followers.
As proof of our authority, sites like the well-known Insider Gaming by Tom Henderson, Dexerto, Screenrant, notebookcheck, and other major players in the gaming industry cite our site in their articles. This is something we believe is very difficult, as our site is focused on the Portuguese language.
We deeply regret if our actions were misinterpreted in light of your guidelines and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. We will immediately cease any manual insertion of links.
It would be a great source of pride for our work to have a page on Wikidata. We know that having a Wikipedia page is still early, but we believe that Wikidata has that value due to our history.
