Selling your house, Vickery are at the top of the tree

Vickery were absolutely amazing to deal with. We decided to go with the "All-in-One" option and glad we did. The Vickery team, led by Edward W, were attentive, professional and knowledgeable and ensured good quality leads for viewings. Nothing worse than feeling you have an "open house" and this was one of the key things we wanted to ensure we had as being busy people and working from home, we didn't want time wasters.

100% recommend using Vickery and when I come to sell/buy again, I will definitely be using their services again.

A breath of fresh air!

We've just bought our new home through Edward and the team, and couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. From the very beginning, Edward was honest, professional, and incredibly responsive. Always quick to answer our (many!) questions and keep us in the loop at every stage.

Buying a home can be stressful, but the whole team made the process feel so much smoother with their clear communication and supportive approach. We felt thoroughly looked after throughout.

Huge thanks to Edward and everyone involved — we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to others!

Overall a poor experience with Vickery

Overall a poor experience with Vickery. A real lack of communication and a poor service we had unreturned calls and emails from the Camberley branch. In a world where everything can be accessed on a mobile phone a quick acknowledgment of an email is all it takes to keep someone updated.

One viewing the agent left mid way through as he had doubled booked. He left the poor owner to show us round who was a nice chap but clearly very nervous about having to lead a tour.

It's a real shame as when we purchased our current house via Vickery we had a great service.

I've been dealing with Vickery's on and…

I've been dealing with Vickery's on and off since the mid-1990s and have never been disappointed with their service or customer care.

Edward and Lewis were extremely efficient, helpful, and, above all, proficient with their work on the sale of an investment property that had originally been owned by my parents. Vickery's have been renting it out for years but when we needed to liquidate funds to care for an elderly parent, Edward and Lewis provided a thoroughly professional service achieving a sale at slightly more than we expected. We were kept updated every week with what was happening with the sale and Lewis liaised with the conveyancing team at their in house company Specialist Property Lawyers regularly. While completion took longer than expected, this was the buyer's solicitors being slow and nothing to do with our end of the transaction.

We would happily recommend Vickery's to anyone looking to sell.

Great service from the team in Camberley

Matt Beegan and Evie Berwick at the Camberley branch went above and beyond ensuring that we were regularly updated throughout the process.
Whilst moving house rarely runs smoothly, they kept us updated and helped resolve any issues that arose. I would highly recommend Vickery in Camberley

Jordan and Sarah - Best I have dealt with

From the start to the finish Jordan and his team were really helpful and very responsive! I would easily say the best estate agents I have dealt with. Special mention to Sarah who updated me EVERY week without fail. I knew where I was from the start to the finish which makes you feel reassured!

Good communication and prompt action throughout.

We were impressed from the start by Edward's attention to selling our house and his excellent communication with us, our buyers and the agents in Taunton, throughout the sale. His friendly efficient team visited our home just before it went on the market so they all knew the house when they spoke to interested clients. Edward judged the market value well, provided a good flow of viewers and his tenacity enabled us to sell our house. We used the integrated package offered by Vickery and Specialist Property Lawyers and found it to be a very efficient way of selling and buying.

A really big thankyou to Steve Payne.
I had lived in my last property for 62 year and the move has been a big upheaval for me. Steve went over and above his duties as the Selling Agent and helped me and gave me solid advice on my Sale Property, chasing my Lawyers.
He returned every call, rang back when he promised and kept me informed about my purchase right from day one.

Edward and his team did an amazing job selling my house recently. They suggested an innovative approach to marketing which worked very well for me.
Special thanks to Matthew who owned the case up to completion and kept me informed throughout the process.
I would definitely recommend Vickery and their ‘All in One’ service.

Vickery Estate Agents - time wasters


Contacted Vickery Estate Agents to arrange a viewing of a property. After taking all my details the agent was insistent that "due diligence" required him to come to value my property first. Cart before the horse comes to mind and one unhappy prospective buyer! To me it would seem likely that the agents already have a buyer in mind.

The reason we enquire about providing you with a market appraisal for your property, is because we need to ensure we are showing the best quality and serious buyers around our clients homes. This is common practice in the industry. Our vendors instruct us to sell their properties and to do that we need to show people around who are in a position to buy, we will prioritize buyers who are in a position to proceed. We are simply looking after our clients best interests. That does not mean however we would not show you around and I apologize that the member of staff has mis-communicated this to you. I have spoken to the team in question and will be providing some additional training on this matter.

Felt very let down!

It started well but after six weeks a massive 50k price drop was recommended and then a further drop as it had not sold. I was lied to and bullied, no names, but they will know! I am very disappointed that my house has not sold for a decent price. They lose interest after a while if it doesn't sell and as it is a fixed fee there is no incentive. I emailed asking them to take my house off the market and had no acknowledgement! Extremely rude and very unprofessional. I would not recommend them.

First Time Buyer

As a first time buyer I couldn’t have asked for any more support from Toby and the team. I was kept well informed of developments in the process and had frequent calls either weekly/biweekly with updates. I felt comfortable to ask any questions I had and was always responded to in a timely manner either via email or telephone. Everything felt very smooth and I had no problems at all. I would highly recommend Vickery’s as a company especially their West End branch.
