Quality is not as expected but nonetheless it fits good

I order online 90% of the time and have never experienced such a bad customer service. I ordered 1 bed frame and 1 boxspring and received 2 bed frames instead.

I received my order 3 weeks ago and contacted them immediately to inform them. Since then, after sending 15+ emails and speaking to around 6 different people, they STILL haven't been able to acknowledge that they made a mistake, neither have they replaced the wrong item yet. Even a few of them told me that I received the correct items (saying that I ordered 2 bed frames) even though the receipt said the opposite and the rest of the customer service confirmed that I indeed missed an item.

Which shows that they didn't even bother to actually read the right information and thus try to resolve the issue. Even the pictures of my order shows two different products...

Sometimes they didn't even reply me for 7 days and I had to send them 3 reminders. Oh, and their chat doesn't even work and it's impossible to call them.

I mean.... How difficult can it be to at LEAST try to help a customer who invested over 200CHF in your products and probably would have spent hundreds more if you took the time to help.

I also asked for a refund the first week, but they haven't even accepted my request even after reminding them over 7 times. Instead, they say that "They will help me resolve the issue" and keep asking me the same questions over and over.

The most common one asking me to describe what I received, which I've been VERY clear about since the beginning. Oh, and for some reason the order number also seems to be very difficult to remember. Although they could have found it my 10 previous emails.

So here I am, after 3 weeks, still waiting for my refund. And not the least for HELP. Also thinking, is this a scam or are none of you simply interested in doing your job?

I'm writing this review in hope that someone will finally listen and take me seriously. I've been extremely polite and patience. But enough is enough. This is absolutely unacceptable and I would never ever recommend VidaXL, unless you miraculously manage to gain my trust back.

The web site offered me a wrong cross selling purchase.

Delivery time and refunds policy where short, so the company offer was a small coupon.

They offered the wrong element also as assistance. And yet I should have send them back on my cost (almost the same value of the good).

Fast delivery and great value for cost. I also found their returns and refunds service very efficient, if you end up needing it.

In the end the product arrived on time and in great condition. It was a little frustrating that vidaXL does not have better visibility as to where its products are up to hand over to DPD (I had situation where DPD was telling me they didn't have product yet--but vidaXL couldn't tell me where it was either). I think VidaXL should improve this--but I gave 5 starts since ultimately I was happy.

Compared with quality at Hornbach (ticker metal) This item is definitively too weak, thus not improving ratings. VidaXL please provide better quality. Normally I'm happy with VidaXL quality. Tip use a concrete iron inside in order not to be cut in 2 minutes

QUALITY MUST BECOME BETTER

We had multiple pieces of furniture that are not well-made. I do not expect a "luxury quality" from VidaXL, but at least: furniture should fit, be stable, and be complete.

Two dining chars broke shortly after we purchased them. The metal frame underneath the seat is simply too weak.

Four cabinets are all skewed, with holes drilled in the wrong places, and damaged upon arrival

Four small wooden dining chairs were damaged upon arrival.

The problem is: VidaXL will NOT solve the problem. They offer you to return the furniture to have it replaced, but the replacement will have similar problems and moreover the process is very time consuming, and all that time you're without furniture. In the end of the day, you just swallow that you purchased something of unacceptable quality.

A low prices implies that materials are basic, furniture is simple, and assembling you have to do yourself. But it should not mean that furniture is damaged or won't assemble properly.
