My favourite video editing software! I mostly make underwater videos and find the colour correction tools the best of any editor I've tried; easy, intuitive and powerful. VSDC runs very well on my relatively low-spec laptop, and the one issue I have had was sorted by the support team. It would be great software if I'd paid for it, it's fantastic performance from a free package.

As a novice wanting to make a video for a website, VSDC was a great solution since it was easy to learn, use and make a video. In addition to that it was free so I could try VSDC without worrying about paying first without knowing about the product.

Used VSDC to edit a wedding video and tbh I didn’t expect much — but wow. The transitions looked clean, and syncing clips to the music beat was way easier than I thought. Stabilization actually saved a bunch of shaky shots. Only thing that tripped me up was the export settings (kinda confusing at first), but once I made a preset, it was chill. Def keeping this in my go-to tools now.

This is definitely the best Video Editor around and is completely FREE No watermarks. Over 600 Templates, Effects and a brilliant sound program .If you help the developer's you can them by buying extras . Better than all of them on line .If you use an AI editing program and there is a WiFi outage ,you may be not doing work for days. I have been making film since 1960.

Tried DaVinci Resolve but my laptop choked. VSDC runs smooth on my old PC. Keyframing is intuitive, and the segmentation tool? Magic for removing backgrounds. Bought Pro for $20 – worth it just for hardware acceleration. Not as polished as Adobe, but 1/10th the cost!

Making viral memes got 10x easier. The glitch effects and sound editor are chef's kiss. Added floating captions to my cat video – tracking actually followed her chaos! Pro version’s screen recorder is clutch. Cons? Some buttons feel hidden, but Reddit tutorials solve everything.

I've been using VSDC pro for about three years now and never had a problem until Version 10.1, when audio started stuttering on playback making it hard to sync up tracks from multiple sources. I reached out to VSDC support and they responded quickly. Together, we worked our way through figuring out the problem, and they narrowed it down to a single DLL file that they emailed me, telling me to replace the existing file with it, and now version 10.1 works great on my PC.

As a career IT guy, it was a pleasure going through the tech support process with them. They respected that I had a level of knowledge to be able to troubleshoot with them as a team, and it led to a quick and successful resolution, rather than eliminating possibilities one by one from a script.

Free version saved my YouTube channel! That "text behind person" tutorial? Nailed it in 20 mins. Chroma key works surprisingly well, and the color correction tools are decent. Yeah, it crashes sometimes with big files, but for ZERO dollars? Unbeatable. Just SAVE OFTEN.

Switched from Premiere Pro to VSDC Pro for motion tracking – mind blown! The object masking and trajectory tools are insane for the price. Animated text around moving cars in my drone footage like a pro. UI takes getting used to, but once you learn it? Game-changer. 4K export works flawlessly.

For me this is very good and very capable software. You can do barely everything, but you need some time to learn how to use it. :) That's fine, if you plan to work with VSDC for long time. It is awesome tool for video editing. I had a problem with the editor and support helped me fixing it quickly. Thank you for your work, guys :)

Best Video Editor I have ever used. Non-linear editing, best optimization and the way improvements are just spot-on just amazes me. The great customer service...the list goes on.

VSDC Video Editor was built putting the customer/user first. That's why I love it. The software is so underrated yet it should be up there. True value!!!

So far I really enjoy this software. It is a bit hard to get used to and find what you want it to do. But there are many YouTube tutorials that help you and once you figure it out it is easy. I thank the team at VSDC for keeping the software up to date and communication with troubleshooting.

I have used the Pro version of VSDC Video Editor for 5 years, creating in-house videos for a large technology company. It has a great balance of being (a) feature-rich and still (b) easy to use. For truly artistic users (not me), the tool has a wide range of audio, video, and image manipulation features. For more basic users (me), the tool lets me create a professional video in under an hour. Good product.

It's perfect for not only basic editing, but also compositing high quality VFX, color-grading... and just about any other thing you could need. The developers update it constantly and I use it in every project. Totally recommend: 11/10

I just got a notification that apparently my subscription will expire in a month. This was a surprise.
I can't remember seeing it being a subscription when I bought it last year. I also just checked last year's purchase email, and it does not mention a subscription of any kind.
And even going to their website right now, it doesn't mention the subscription model, or at least, I cannot find it anywhere.

I worked on the project for 3 weeks. It turned out that the file after export is scattered, some effects do not work. The installation is unintuitive, and the program is not worth its price.

It's what I need but the journey has been painful.
I purchase Pro and you need it for 4K forever, when my licence expired my projects crashed. Hence forced to buy new licence. Get lifetime. My biggest mistake was I would create new project from old to retain project settings but the project file kept all the baggage (deleted, trimmed, video from old project) until I was each file even with one video at 5Gbytes each. wtf. 10 minute project = 5Gbtye and my computer pushed to the limit. Hence alway create new and double check the settings. I wish these computer would tell why they crash. i.e you are now 150 GByte virtual memory and about to crash or all working directories are on C drive causing it to max out 100% hard rive access for 15minutes.

I never knew Anything about editing. Started learning how to edit in 2020 with the free version of VSDC. After about 6 months I purchased the Pro version. They are extremely patient and always respond to my emails in a timely fashion.
