This tour surpassed all expectations with outstanding tour guide, Stefan. We had stunning photo opportunities at Hallstatt. Highly recommended for an unforgettable adventure filled with beauty and excitement.

Stefan is an amazing guide! He took great care of us and provided detailed explanations at every important location. The driver was also very professional and cautious. I absolutely enjoyed my trip with them.

Horrible. Multiple issues. 1. The map is not helpful and doesn’t provide street crossings so you can easily find your way back to a stop. 2. The blue line was supposed to stop at #1 at 16:50. We were there 5 minutes early. The bus showed at 16:55 and said “off duty”. Per the schedule, there was supposed to be one more blue run at 17:20. We asked the driver who became truculent and shrugged and threw up his hands. We tried asking when the next bus would be through per the schedule and were very frustrated. Then, a young man in blue coat who was soliciting concert tickets came over and got in our face saying, “be careful what you say!!! Talk to the company! That’s my father!” He was very aggressive and frankly, I felt physically threatened. When my husband said, “but he can be rude to me?” The guy walked away. We went across the street to be safe and get an Uber. When the car was picking us up about 8 minutes later, we see another bus pull in. That bus wasn’t on the timetable schedule. All the previous driver had to say was that there would be another bus that wasn’t on the schedule. Instead we were treated as an inconvenience and verbally accosted by his son. We had been reluctant to take this bus due to reviews and should have heeded the warnings.

Rude driver! Asked politely when the next bus was coming and he said "off duty - we are all done - no more buses" eventhough the times posted one supposed to come by in 20 minutes after this one. We ordered an Uber instead and saw a bus pull up about 15 minutes after!

We need to wait 1 hour in rain. And did not found sigseeing bus stop. Brochure says that bus goes ewery 30min. But that is not true.

Terrible service ….. we naively bought a 48 hour pass thinking that this was a better set up / routes than other tours. We were very wrong sadly.
- Buses in January are roughly every hour at stops so it really matters when you miss one. Our first attempt saw us at the right bus stop (marked and numbered) where we watched the bus drive straight past after waiting 10 mins past the due time. If you are expected to request this should be very clear.
- We then finally made it on a bus at Schloss Belvedere to be told by the bus driver we’d have to get off at the next stop (the Opera House appears to be a terminal). He said we’d need to get on the next bus - not that that bus was an hour wait! In the cold….
- Eventually got on a bus an hour later and had a successful round on the Red Line
- Next day we walked to Praterstern Station and thought we’d pick up the bus at the stop there. The description of the stop was hopelessly generic (by the UBahn Ausgang and Prater exit). After 25 mins, missing yet another bus we rang the phone number and were (helpfully to be fair) directed to the right stop. Outside a very Googleable restaurant which could easily have been the description.
- By this time we didn’t have the time to get round the loop and therefore gave up on our plans to see a few sights

Overall a tourist service that hasn’t been designed with tourists in mind - at all.

The hop on hop off tour offers a great overview of vienna! You get to the most important sights really quickly. The staff were also very friendly and helped us with any questions we had!

We bought 2 tickets for 24 hrs HOHO & VAL H+R combined but little did we know the tickets don't work on the Vienna Airport Lines bus.
Got stuck on a VAL bus from airport to the city because the driver could not scan the ticket with his phone. He tried for 30 minutes before finally letting us on the bus without scanning the ticket. Worse conditions while returning to airport from the city as the driver faced the same problem again and started shouting on us. She denied this as a valid ticket and refused to accept it, we had to buy 2 bus tickets again to return to the airport so we can catch our flight.

I would recommend not to trust this organization and do not buy the combined tickets at all.

On the Yellow bus (Vienna Sight Seeing) the audio on the blue line didn’t work - only had half the channels it should so had to listen to the Kids English audio. Then got left at the Belvedere (Yellow line) stop for more than an hour as no bus came. The competitors (Big Bus Vienna) had 3 busses come through while I was waiting in the cold mid winter rain, and on the third one the very nice driver allowed me on to get me back into town, even though they are a different company. Much friendlier driver than the yellow bus drivers. I complained to the young guys in yellow jackets back at the opera house and they said the yellow line didn’t operate from 1:10 to 2:20, but nowhere in the pamphlet does it say this. I suggest using the Big Bus (the red ones) - nicer drivers, audio works (well it did on the one trip I had), busses more often (they don’t stop from 1:20 to 2:20) and they go the same routes.

Good tour, lots of information and great humour from the guide Steven. Tour allows you to skip the lines at Schonbrunn Palace, which is well worth it.

Stefan our tour guide was great and Hallstatt is definitely worth taking the trip to see. A very breathtaking town , even in the winter

The guy was so rude he yelled at me for trying to enter the back when I have done it for 3 days in a row.Wouldn't have been a bad experience except for he yelled for 5 minutes straight until I started to cry. Other then that rude gentleman, the trip was well worth the vienna pass and was pleasurable.

The tour leader himself is very knowledgeable on the subject and the picturesque villages and majestic Abbey are worth visiting. I was only disappointed by the fact that we were promised a free lunch, to compensate for the cancelled Danube boat ride, but we ended up paying for it anyway.

Thank you for your reply. Please note that I am not contesting the fact that the boat ride did not take place, but that the compensatory lunch was not offerred when we had specifically asked the person who booked our tour about this. We referred to a printed brochure issued by your company where this was clearly stated. Also, please note that at least half of the other people on the tour were promised the same thing. On a more positive note, my friend contacted you regarding this and you issued a partial refund. Thank you. And yes, we still enjoyed this tour despite this minor hiccup.

Terrible service. We waited over 1.5 hours for a bus to come on the yellow line. Rang the support line to be told we were lying, both scheduled buses had attended and we must have just missed then or not been at the correct stop. 15 very unhappy, cold and miserable people waiting over 1.5 hours for one bus. When it eventually came, the driver said he was on lunch ….. Go the big bus, it seemed way better and more reliable

Booked a tour directly via the agent at the bus stop.
Headphone commentary was unavailable in English which was a shame but the agency couldn't have been more helpful and quick to resolve once I queried with them

Many ... too many issues.

1) My language (Italian) was not available in most of the seats on the bus
2) Just tell there you see that and that building. No much history or any anecdotes. They just play the same music in between.
3) bus drivers don't speak english (this is not acceptable for a touristic service)
4) I bought the ticket including the boat cruise but the cruise was canceled without any advice (25 aug 2023) and I was not able to reschedule
