Outstanding care

I’ve been bringing my dogs to The Village Vet in Pitshanger, and I couldn’t be happier with the care they receive. The vet who we have recently been seeing, Jordon is incredibly attentive and always takes his time to examine my dogs thoroughly, never rushing through appointments. It’s clear that he genuinely care about the animals and want to make sure nothing is overlooked.

I really appreciate how patient and reassuring he is, taking the time to explain everything clearly and answer any questions I have. It gives me great peace of mind knowing my dogs are in such capable and compassionate hands.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet who truly goes above and beyond for their pets.

I am leaving this review to document

I am leaving this review to document my experience and to help other pet owners make informed decisions.

My German Shepherd was treated at this clinic for an ear condition and prescribed a course of prednisolone. Although there was initial improvement, the original problem returned and my dog subsequently developed widespread dermatological issues including severe itching, skin lesions from self-mutilation, significant coat loss, and noticeable weight loss. The situation became serious enough that she now requires continuous use of an Elizabethan collar to prevent further injury.

I raised these concerns with the clinic and requested resolution, however I did not receive a response that addressed the extent of my dog’s deterioration or accepted responsibility for the outcome. I have therefore sought further veterinary assessment elsewhere.

This review reflects my personal experience. Based on what occurred, I would strongly encourage other pet owners to carefully consider treatment plans, ask detailed questions about potential side effects, and seek additional opinions where systemic medication is involved.

I hope this feedback contributes to greater transparency and accountability in veterinary care.

Very Disappointing

Had a negative experience this morning. Rude Receptionist, Vet not carrying out checks for routine yearly innoculations, health check. Sloppy and not impressed. Teeth - not checked - ears - not checked - weight - relied on a past check som months earlier. Plus derogatory remarks about my rescue dog. Won't be going back despite convenient location.
