Superb care

All staff from the Client Care Team through to the Head Veterinary Surgeon showed empathy and professionalism in helping to diagnose and offer options for treatment.

Never again

I am a long established, high star rated licensed dog breeder. One of my beloved dogs had a terrible whelping and we took her to the out of hours vet (Village Vet) through the phone service of my regular vet.

I was asked to pay £800 before they even looked at her. I then received a call saying there was a new estimate of £6k. After I gasped I was told it could be lower maybe £4k but she may not survive anyway. Who uses a sick, distressed animal as a bargaining tool? Whilst this is going on she’s laying there suffering. I felt I had no choice but to have her PTS. When we arrived at the practice we were met with an abrupt receptionist with a total lack of compassion. Not to mention feeling like emotional blackmail with our sick dog from the vet I spoke to..

Never again.

Our nearly 12 year old Cocker Spaniel admitted in a critical condition

Our nearly 12 year old Cocker Spaniel was admitted at 2am Saturday morning in an extremely critical condition and we did not think he would survive.
He is home now and on the mend due to the dedication, quick thinking, love and compassion shown to him and us over the weekend.
Nothing was too much trouble, reassurance was given by phone and in person at various times of the day and night.
We have everything to thank them for from the nurses to the dedicated vets Becky and Vanessa.

Our boy went in with a blocked urethra and he came out blind

Took our boy to this emergency vets (Not our normal vets)
With a possible blocked urethra had to wait in the car park for an hour before being let into the practice by a snappy, stressed vet.
She assessed our Tanian and took him through for tests for the night and told us to ring around 6.30am.
We rang to be told she couldn't unblock the blockage and he needed an urgent operation at DWR in Newmarket. We got dressed and picked him up to take him to DWR, as soon as he came out we noticed his left eye was milky white!! As soon we got to DWR, they also noticed his eye so they assessed his eye to. And the only explanation really is blunt force trauma because any thing else would have shown it's self sooner.
Our boy is now blind in his left eye with no explanation from Milton vets as to what happened.
We have emailed the practice with no reply and no acknowledgement of email sent
