Went into the Bedford branch to see what a new Tiguan has to offer. Four members of staff standing at the sales counter chatting. Someone finally, after an awkward few moments, said hello! Tole hi... See more

Huge reshuffle in staff made! Changes are evident.
I’m not quite sure where to start when writing this review. I’m comparing a vehicle purchase between last year (2023) and this year’s spring (2024), drastic switch ups have been made and are clearly evident. Last year I had an awful experience from start to finish when purchasing an Audi for my son. We had consistent problems with the vehicle and staff at the time were of no help, rude, lacked due diligence and care when dealing with myself as a customer. We reluctantly returned to the Huntingdon showroom ONLY to test drive a vehicle as other showrooms in both Peterborough and Cambridge had no availability. However when mentioning the qualms we had from the previous year I was delighted to learn that the team had a complete reshuffle and huge changes had been made, they were apparent from the off. We were greeted by a warm welcome with front of house staff and lead towards a table and offered a beverage whilst waiting. The sales manager Ryan greeted us almost immediately along side his colleague Ayden. Both of them worked meticulously in selling us a vehicle that very same day! There wasn’t a problem, concern or query that Ayden was unable to solve with a quick informed answer. His mannerisms, care and attention to us as customers were and ARE first class. Ayden’s professionalism outshines all German Dealerships I have been to in the past from the likes of BMW, Mercedes and Porsche… it’s for that reason I went ahead with making a second purchase despite the failings from the previous year. Both Ryan and Ayden are an immense credit to the Vindis Audi team in Huntingdon. On collection of the vehicle our treatment was absolutely impeccable, all that was missing was a red carpet! They paid attention to the finest of details when catering to our needs, wants and more! I will be sure to return when updating my vehicle and making further purchases for my Sons. Hopefully Ayden will have a management role by then… Keep up the good work, it’s obvious you actually care about customers experience as a whole more so than just meeting daily figures and targets.
Poor customer service
I won’t be having my car serviced by Vindis any longer due to the difficulty with them keeping the appointments I'd made with them.
There was also one time they didn't wash my car after working on it (black fingerprints on the paintwork) and not fitting back all of the screws holding the undertray in position.
They did correct all of this after i complained, but I would have rather not had to ask..
Took my Audi to the Northampton…
Took my Audi to the Northampton dealership for a service.
From the meet and greet in the carpark to collecting my vehicle was a very nice experience. Alicia & Callum are a real credit to the Vindus group.
Waterbeach service centre has really gone downhi
After sales service has really gone downhill.
Very difficult to get through on the phone, especially at lunchtimes when it seems no-one wants to answer. They rarely ever call back when promised so you always end up having to chase them. Very long wait times, often 6+ weeks for service appointments. Final straw was them refusing to replace a faulty battery under warranty. Car needs jump starting after only 4 days unused but because their tests show no fault they refuse to do anything. I've given up, unlikely to go near Vindis group again.
Poor Admin
Booked appointment - received email confirmation, turned up - not on the system. Waited 45 minutes to get the car in - was asked the same questions over and over by different staff. I told them I needed the car by 4pm. I phoned at 3:30pm - the car was still not on the system & they didn't know if it was ready, they said they would phone me back; didn't. I eventually went to the garage at 5. Waited another 45 minutes for the keys. And they had left a car parked in front of me which took another ten minutes to move.
Visited this place a couple of times…
Visited this place a couple of times looking for an ex-demo 23 plate Tiguan.
Steph was brilliant, only in her first week but knew her stuff.
Things went down hill when the pompous Sales Manager intervened, definitely lacking in people skills and thought he could bully us into buying the vehicle. We ended up walking out and going elsewhere.

Vindis Audi Cambridge.
Vindis Audi Cambridge.
MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS IN WRITING BECAUSE THEY RENEGE ON THEIR AGREEMENTS!
Change of staff wholesale, change of attitude.
Customer service has gone.
Having bought 5 cars from them over a span of 10 years with excellent customer service from Micheal Matt and Ross etc (they know who I mean).
I recently received a rather robust request for payment of a service completed 3 weeks after is was completed!
I have explained that sales pick up the costs of my first service, the staff member whom this was agreed with has since left (although he was there on the day of the service)
Vindis are now pursuing money for a service that should have been included.
I am in discussion with senior management to try to resolve this frankly embarrassing saga.
I will keep you updated.

Arrogant and incompetent
I've had to deal with Vindis Audi Cambridge for a long time with my Audi- and every time I've done so I've come away annoyed- my experiences have always been a mixture of arrogance (Vindis just wanting to sell me a newer, more expensive car, or being told that it's company policy not to give out part numbers) and incompetence- the latest example of which was booking my car in for a procedure, dropping it off in the morning (having to travel well out of my way and then arrange onward transport) only to be called back mid-afternoon and be told "oh no, this is a 7-hour procedure, so we can't do it today".
If you can, skip Vindis Audi in Cambridge and either go to the Audi dealership in Bury St Edmunds, or Audi Specialists in Burwell, or even go to Vindis Audio in Huntingdon, who seem to be significantly better, despite being the same company!

Absolute terrible sevice
My daughter had a issue with her 12month old 8 thousand mile Fabia Monte Carlo, where the same warning light kept appearing, at the Bury St Edmunds branch it was purchased from. She had a previose problem with another warning light informing low battery voltage, that was blamed on her dash cam. repeated complaints resulting in a new battery being fitted. Returning to the latest warning light to do with the stop start system, it was investigated on the cars first service where no fault codes were recorded and the problem was your not driving the car enough resulting in low battery voltage. The following day her partner took it to the Waterbeach sevice centre where a faulty Vapour collector filter was indentified as the problem, that took 11 days to rectify, but in fairness Easter wekend did get in the way and a loan car was provided. I went with her to pick it up and and was told when when I asked for paperwork that as it was a warranty job you dont need any. I insisted I did for the cars service records, as the car is one of a fleet I run. The young man finaly relented and suggested he email a copy writing the email address on the back of his hand. That was 8 days ago-nothing. I am now into my 5th phone call having to speak to a diferrent but related department the booking department as the number for the service team just rings and rings till it finaly disconects, on all five occassions the booking office have unable to speak to them by internal line so have emailed them with my details and asked to ring me back- nothing. This is the first vehicle I have purchased for the fleet from Vindis normally buying from the Marriott group in Suffolk, I will based on this service not be buying anymore

Terrible service Bedford Audi
Bought an A5 two weeks ago. First off was hassle trying to arrange a viewing of it and kept getting told it was being prepared. Eventually got to see it and even though it had been through prep, it was still a bit dirty and had a few dings and dents. However, we were assured that these would be resolved if we purchased the car. We put the £500 deposit in and went a week later to view the car again and agreed to purchase. The paperwork was not clear, with them telling us they had to change certain figures for various reasons when all we wanted was an invoice with the car cost minus our part exchange and deposit and the balance to pay. They told us all prep work including MOT had been done and apologised for the communication issues and offered us £100 to put towards a meal which we initially accepted because they were concerned we would leave a poor review. We loved the car and accepted the apology and had our meal on Audi. Next day my husband checked the mot status online as we hadn’t had the certificate and were shocked to see that the car had not been mot’d and the previous mot had lapsed, meaning we couldn’t legally drive the car. This was Good Friday but my husband called them and after a few calls back and forward again a sales manager confirmed that the mot had not in fact been done. His suggestion was to either bring it back to them that day but it is over an hour away for us and not possible anyway as we were both working, or to get it done locally and they would reimburse. After calling a few garages desperately trying to get a quick mot done we found somewhere that would do it the next day. Imagine our shock when the garage doing the mot said that it would not even pass as it needed new wiper blades. After getting these and the mot pass my husband sent the mot receipt back to Audi Bedford who had asked for it, but he did not send the meal receipt as we were so angry and disappointed with the service that we told them to keep the meal as we felt they were trying to ensure a good review but my husband told them that could not lie about the service we had received from them. They refunded the mot costs and also still refunded £100 for the meal despite us asking them not to but we have returned the meal cash back to them. If we didn’t love the car so much it would have been back with them straight away after how we were treated. We’ve used a few Audi dealers over the years and only ever had issues with Bedford. In summary: Love the car but wouldn’t use Bedford Audi again. Too many things went wrong for us to have any confidence in them again.

Bought an Audi A3 from Bedford Audi in November and now being investigated by DLVA owing to their errors.
Bought an Audi A3 from Bedford Audi in November 2023. Still waiting for a V5 document from the DLVA as the salesperson for reasons unknown put my address down on the form as Audi Bedford and did not give me the keeper slip. Apparently the V5 sent direct to Bedford was thrown away as unknown! No one in admin checked with the sales team. I had to pay £25 in February to DLVA, and still no V5, but passed from pillar to post by DVLA now with investigative unit, which makes me worry I have been sold a cloned car, and the Manager of Bedford Audi never returns my calls. No offer to officially pay me the £25.00 or compensate for the 15 phone calls and wasted time I have spent trying to get this sorted. Still no V5. Be Aware everyone!

Absolutely Shocking Money Extortionits
Absolutely shocking. True extortionists. DO NOT even consider this company or assume that Audi UK will support you if they fail. I purchase an Audi A5 from Vindis Northampton in December 2022. Just over a year later it was serviced having done a mere 1500 miles. The service indicated work amounting to approximately £1600. I questioned this as I had been informed the car had a clean bill of health via a service at purchase. The Audi service provided video of what was required so I requested the same from when I had purchased. I received absolutely no support from Vindis Northampton, a total lack of Customer Care and a total refusal to do anything. I complained to the directors of Audi UK. They have achieved nothing and offered a 50% off service as compensation. I am yet to have an insert as to whether the directors of Vindis and Audi are haply to accept that the car deteriates after a service to such a degree, whether this is the quality expected of Audi, whether all Audi cars will require £1 of work for every 1 mile driven and whether Audi have any control over their dealers. I expect that you are able to make your own mind up from the lack of response. I will never have a car from Audi again or have one serviced there and I trust neither will you

Avoid Vindis Audi at all costs
Avoid Vindis Audi at all costs. The only good thing was their sales department. My car has since broken down within 4 months of owning it, it has sat in the services department for 2 weeks without them even looking at it. The replacement car, I am entitled to through my Audi breakdown cover, is significantly smaller than my actual car and unsuitable. Audi refusing to change it for a bigger one, when Enterprise gave me a bigger car but different brand, Audi kicked off and made them change it to an unsuitable Audi. They failed to do an MOT prior to me picking up the car, resulting in me having to pay for a loan car and brake fluid change whilst my car went for it’s MOT (pending refund for 2 weeks now)
Updated: the after sales manager has sorted the refund but my car is still waiting for repair and Audi still wouldn’t authorise a bigger replacement car

Service Dept useless
Dropped car of for service & mot on 14th, they rang late that day to say it had failed on 1 window washer not working, which turned out to be the pump, which was under warranty & said it would be done the next day. We heard nothing the next day, so had to ring them & got told they were waiting for the part to come in & warranty people to give them the go ahead. Weekend went, Monday heard nothing, rang again still waiting for warranty & we could fetch a courtesy car, picked that up & she apologised & said it wasn’t good enough communication!! & she would take over from there. Next day heard nothing, so i rang warranty people, who said they hadn’t got anything from Vindis, rang Audi again & the woman contradicted everything the warranty people said. Following day rang warranty again & they still had nothing from them. After ringing Audi again, told them to fit the part as someone has to pay for it to pass mot. Eventually on the 20th we picked it up. Nearly 7 days later for 1 washer pump.
This department needs rolling back 20 years ago when the guy on the service desk knew about the cars he was dealing with & communication was second to none. I really felt like I’d dropped my car of to a back street garage round the corner.
Never again, it will be going to a local independent reliable, trustworthy garage who doesn’t fob you of with lies & excuses.

Shocking after sales…avoid!
I had to leave one star as there was no option to leave zero…VW Vindis Bedford!
I purchased a brand new vehicle from them and having had several electrical faults with it since I collected it April 2023, they have been appalling with assistance and trying to resolve any issues.
They’ve had my money and no couldn’t care less!! Avoid at all costs!!

I cant rate low enough
I have bought numerous Audi's from Vindis, i like their sales team and have always helped me when needed. I will not however be renewing our PCP's with them.
The after care team simply do not care, after sales/service are shocking. I have had issues with them on past vehicles however recently now has gone too far.
I bought a car and was due to be MOT'd and work carried out before pick up however 'could not fit this in' so ive driven away and have booked me in later for this to be done.
I have attended the booked MOT which i said i would wait for and told will be done by midday, didnt happen, on the day i was told i wasnt waiting for the car and should be done by 5pm. At around 1pm they ring, they tell me i need a brake fluid change at £75 discussed that all work will be dealt with by sales due to this supposedly needing to be done before i collected in which they have then agreed. I reattend at 4:30pm, i was told the car hadnt yet had the brake fluid changed and i needed to wait, i asked to take the car and they agreed to rebook this in the next day by calling me. They didnt call me. 2 days later someone called me making sure i was going to leave a good review, Having a laugh right? I told her of these issues, what i didnt tell them at the time i knew the drivers side front tyre has a slit which they would need changing too, they failed to notice this, telling the lady on the phone she said she would investigate and get right back to me. To be fair she did within 30 mins, However told me the brake fluid has been changed according to the system when it clearly hadnt. I then asked around the tyre issue, she states she has faith in the team and doesnt think a 6cm slit in the tyre wall is an issue, however if i wanted the brake fluid checked again to see if it has been done i can get a replacement tyre for £230 and they'll correct the issues. Baring in mind this was all supposed to be done free for the car before i got it i think is ridiculous. Thats it, case closed, no further contact from them. It doesnt stop there, we bought a Q5 from them in November comes with a years warranty, When getting it they had to take the brake peddle apart and reinstall it and service it, It has then started getting a rattle noise getting louder by the day, we call them and offer to plug it in for £360 for a diagnostic test, we took it to Halfords and spent £50 for the same test, to my shock Halfords informed us that the engine cover never had 5 screws placed back in so is flapping around. Called Audi to explain this and agreed to do it free of charge however driving it away again still making that noise. Their car quality is poor and the service team i cant even think of a word to describe it. Im disgusted by them, so if you have money to waste visit them. Otherwise shop around!
This is concerning Huntingdon Audi

Can you trust Vindis
The short answer to my review title is no.
My car a VW Golf mk 8 registration: KW21MWN was purchased from Vindis as a used car in March 2022, the first service was done in December 2022 and the second and major service was done in March 2024.
The car was booked in for, a MOT, service and repairs concerning amber warning lights referring to the gearbox and gear selector in February.
After contacting them about why its taking so long, I was informed that they were waiting on a spare part, thats not a problem. I was told that they expected it to be completed by the 8th of March and was contacted on that day that the car is ready for collection.
I collected the car on Monday 11th of March only to discover that the MOT was not carried out.
I then collected the car on 14th of March, the car was not cleaned, the car was not serviced the adress on the MOT was wrong.
To me this all is a serious matter that shows total incompetence and a lack of any customer service.
I have been a lifetime fan and driver of VW Golfs but I think that with this horrible experience I will look for another manufacturer.
