Apalling customer servixes

Still waiting on replacement knifes that were promised due to faulty knifes that nearly casued an accident when the handle came away from the blade. Was promised replacement 4 weeks ago and chased several times. Appears no one reads their emails..

Viners quality no longer what it used to be.

Viners quality no longer what it used to be years ago.
10 year warranty should be legally challenged as false advertising as is not the case.
Very poor customer services - messaged a number of time however no response to anything.
Product quality poor - have 2 knives of a kitchen set that have snapped in the handle due to corrosion and rust.
My advice would be to use products from other manufacturers and avoid Viners.

Viners allegedly 18:10 rusts

Bought two sets of Viners "18:10" cutlery. The boxwas clearly lablled 18:10. A week later the knives started to rust. Cursory inspection showed no 18:10 stamped on the knives, just on all the rest.
Contacted Viners, who just ignored me, so now having to deal with the retailer who is not at fault, but is responsible.

Well, they must have read this review by now, they have not responded, and apparently never do, they just don't care about their customers. Guess they're making enough money

Bought a set of 4 from argos

Bought a set of 4 from argos.
These knives are dangerous as they snap at the handle when in use this has happened twice now. I would have returned them but do not have the receipt.

If I could give no stars I would

If I could give no stars I would. Within a year knife handle snapped off. I called them, was told to write an email with pictures. I have done that twice and also called 4 times with promises that someone would call me back. Still waiting. Worst customer service ever . Don't believe their 10 year warranty it's not happening

Terrible customer service

Bought a Viners knife block 2 years ago with 10 year guarantee and the small paring knife broke in half when cutting nearly causing a nasty accident. Still have original box and receipt and Viners are refusing to do anything as I did not 'register" the guarantee. Terrible customer service!

Quality down the toilet

Quality down the toilet, British historic quality brand name outsourced to cheap Chinese workshops for maximum profit at the expense of quality. All our cutlery is covered in micro scratches after approx 2 years. Based on other reviews about the poor customer service, I won't be bothering trying to get replacement set. Won't buy from them again.

Returned customer.

After using Viners for the last 30 years I thought I would get something a bit more sophisticated ( Arthur Price) and I really paid the Price....
Everything from AP coming out rusty and Viners as shiny as ever.
Back to Viners again I'm afraid.
Just be happy and stop trying to be super happy.

They sorted a problem.

They sorted a problem with one knife in a Viners knife set. A great resolution to the problem. I had bought the set directly from Rayware which owns Viners. Thank you.

Bought 5 piece knife set

Bought 5 piece knife set! Cannot believe how “blunt” they quickly became! This was after 6 weeks. Then the coating started to wear off the blades. Only now I have bought alternative purchase from another make do I realise how ineffective these knives have been! Awful purchase.

I am trying to get in touch with…

I am trying to get in touch with customer services -
I have sent 6 emails regarding a missing fork! no reply from any of my emails.
Called the contact number but told nobody was available as they only work until 3pm - Website says Mon-Fri 9-5pm, I called today and was told nobody is in the office on Friday's so need to call back Monday but only until 9-4pm?
I only need a fork! Viners need to update there website with the correct customer service info and actually reply to emails

I purchased a set of knives in a block

I purchased a set of knives in a block. A year later the small knife came out of the handle. About a month later whilst chopping potatoes the blade came out of the handle and just missed my wrist. I complained last November, they asked for photos of broken knives which I sent. Did not have any response. I then phoned the complaints procedure and she said she would send my e-mail and photo to the right department. To date, haven’t had any response. These knives are DANGEROUS and something should be done about them. I have been married almost 60 years and have never had this problem with any knife , cheap or expensive. I was very lucky that the blade didn’t cut my wrist, this whole experience completely “shook me” being nearly 80 years old. IRENE LOCKYER

Unhelpful response from manufacturer

Items in package not correct. Company notified and refused to address the matter and suggested I return item at purchase point. The individual items were not as specified on the packaging. The seller had nothing to do with this problem.

My wife and I have been avid food…

My wife and I have been avid food lovers for our whole lives, enjoying a variety of home cooked meals throughout the years.

However I must confess, the last 3 weeks have absolutely blown our minds. Never have we ever enjoyed delicious, home cooked goodness in our 13 years together as a couple more than we have done over the past few weeks. I have even noticed we have grown as a couple, less arguments and having much more fun together.

I put all of this down to one single reason - our purchase of the Viners Deluxe Collection that was bought for us as loving Christmas gift.

Words cannot describe how this has changed our dining experience. The sheer quality and weight of the forks in particular has enhanced our lunches and late dinners. The knives have an elegant grooved appearance allowing them to be gripped tightly without feeling overpowering.

The spoons have done their jobs perfectly. We both enjoy our Haagen Das ice cream and I must say, each mouthful is filled with a bundle of happiness.

To summarise, I highly recommend the Viners collection to anyone who is looking for a high quality dining experience, night after night. It really has rejuvenated our healthy lifestyle and I cannot wait to purchase more once our young family grows.
