I’m doing the review to get the full vehicle report in printed view. Not knowing any info other than the VIN, but doing a regular Google search was telling me not found. This site was one of the resul... See more

I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the report listed this vehicle as a gasoline vehicle when in fact it was a diesel. Also te transmition was listed wrong. The rest of the report was great

It was easy to look up what I'm looking for. Writing this review is harder because the automation didn't like something I'd say.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I wish it had more detailed information but some things it says aren't reported. But it has pretty good info and doesn't cost a lot.

Unauthorized repeating charges

I bought a VIN report that was worth 1 usd. This week, I checked my credit card bill and found that the company had charged me again for 29 USD in December. I have had no further visits on their website after the first time, as their report did not really give much information about a European car. So I contacted the customer service asking what has happened and why am I charged. I have not received a reply; instead, a new 29 USD charge was made to my credit card today.

I would avoid giving this company your credit card information.

Scam - recurring monthly charges

I paid $1 to view a single vin report. Did not sign up to any kind of subscription or monthly charges. One month later, got charged $29.99, promptly asked them to stop charging me, and then another month later, the same charge shows up again. Their reviews here are clearly not representative as they ask people to review prior to actually using the "service". Please do not support this fraudulent company.

says ABSOLUTELY FREE vin report

says ABSOLUTELY FREE vin report - then they tell you you need to pay $1. Yes, it's a really low price BUT THAT'S NOT FREE and the minute you have to PAY for something, they have your credit card information and who knows what they'll charge! DON'T LIE AND SAY IT'S FREE AND THEN DEMAND PAYMENT!

Absolutely useless and fraud

Absolutely useless report, even for $1.

But after that they are trying to bill my card for $29 in illegal way.

Beware, better use different services.

Horrible!

What a scam and a waste of my time

What a scam and a waste of my time. I hope I can attach pictures, screenshots, here because they drew me in with a claim that I could get a free copy of the window sticker of the car that I am looking to buy. This of course was not the truth. After filling out a lot of information and waiting a long time while they did God only knows what to my computer, they disclosed there would be a $1 fee! The small print below disclosed this would be followed by an ongoing subscription for $27.95! Be very very careful with this site or you’re going to end up with a repeated expensive charge of $27.95.

It's a complete scam

It's a complete scam. They offer you a cheap report, but hide the fact that from then on they'll charge you $30 a month. I only noticed it after six months—$180 down the drain.

Paid $1 to get a report

Paid $1 to get a report. Have been charged the last 5 months for a $29.95 subscription that I never agreed to. Have tried contacting the company for a complete refund of these charges and also for them to stop charging my account. I do not recommend t his company. If they fix this issue I will update this review at that time.

Scam company

Scam company. Says it’s a dollar for a VIN check then low key charges you 30 dollars a week later with no notice. Makes you write a good review on this website before you can download PDF. Terrible company. Just pay the money for a carfax or auto check. You get better information from them anyways.

Scam

Scam! Be aware!

I was charged $1 for a “vehicle review” that contained no useful or relevant information at all about the car I requested. It was basically an empty report. For comparison, Carfax provides far more detailed and accurate information, so I expected at least something — but VinSeeker delivered nothing.

A week later, VinSeeker tried to charge my card $30 without my permission, and thankfully my bank blocked it. This kind of unauthorized billing is completely unacceptable.

I do not recommend using VinSeeker. The service is misleading, provides no value, and attempts unauthorized charges.

Deceptive purchase process - you think youre paying a one time fee of $1 for service then later you get a subscription charge for $29.95. NO answer from my email after 7 days.

Scam

This website just tells you facts about the make and model of a car that you could look up on Edmunds for free. Any facts this website gives you about a specific vehicle are entirely unreliable—it got the mileage on mine completely wrong and grossly underestimated the value of the vehicle.

In addition, it charges you one dollar so that it can get your card info, which it uses to charge you ~$6 monthly. You’re signing up for a subscription without realizing it.

If you want to get a real and detailed VIN report, go to Carfax. You get what you pay for.

Ridiculous

Having issues with redirecting me to this page. I dont agree to having to do a review to access my information when I've already paid. Do I have to wait a day or two until this is fixed? Had to come to this page on my own

SCAM

SCAM. They say you will get a report for $1 and a week or two later charge you $28.95. I was given no notice of this charge before they attempted to take it out of my account. I had to cancel my debit card and get a new one to prevent them from stealing from me. DO NOT USE.
