I’m doing the review to get the full vehicle report in printed view. Not knowing any info other than the VIN, but doing a regular Google search was telling me not found. This site was one of the resul... See more

I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 because the report listed this vehicle as a gasoline vehicle when in fact it was a diesel. Also te transmition was listed wrong. The rest of the report was great

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

It was easy to look up what I'm looking for. Writing this review is harder because the automation didn't like something I'd say.

Rated 4 out of 5 stars

I wish it had more detailed information but some things it says aren't reported. But it has pretty good info and doesn't cost a lot.

This is a scam

This is a scam. Dont use it. The report is not accurate and it ends up charging you a $29.95 subscription fee you did not agree to after the supposed one time $1 charge to see a vehicle's history. I cancelled after i saw the $29.95 charge a week later. Now i have to deal with my bank to dispute this.

VINseeker is a scam. Does not deliver what you paid for

I purchased a report online and was never able to download it. First of all, why the hell do I need to write a review to get a report I already paid for? Zero response from Vinseeker as well since reporting it over 3 days ago.

They also don't tell you the $1 purchase is for a trial that you have 7 days that will be $40/month. I immediately cancelled.

Bait and switch

Beware! Bait and switch! They advertise “Absolutely free VIN lookup”. Is definitely not free at all. You give your vin number they run a report, then they want your email address (so they can sell your info to every advertiser under the sun), then they ask you to pay for it!! I would provide the screenshot of their ad if I could but that’s not an option on Trustpilot when leaving this review. At least not from my phone.

I was automatically signed up.

I was automatically signed up.
I was automatically signed up for the vinseeker service monthly, after I had agreed to a trial. I did not see, maybe the fine print was somewhere else, but in all cases I had to pay the $29.95 with no refund.
Paid via Paypal and still no refund.
Would not recommend. The report for the car was minimal and worth the Dollar. not 30.

Disappointed Experience

I tried Vinseeker hoping to get a detailed car history report, but the results were very limited. The report missed some key details that report usually shows, like previous accidents or service records. It felt more like a basic VIN lookup than a full report. Not really worth the cost compared to others

Scam, no way to cancel, support does not respond, live chat does not work and actual report is pure rubbish. Reporting to my cc company as fraud. 3 requests to cancel within 7 day window and was charged in full today

Easy straightforward so far

Easy straightforward so far. But I hadn’t downloaded my report yet. But it did give me a good overview for $1 that I can’t get at any of the so called “free” checks.
